1. How did you use media technologies in the
construction and research, planning and
evaluation stages?

2. One technology that impacted my magazine a lot was twitter. Twitter has an
option to create polls that other users of twitter can vote on and I utilised this
during my audience research. This option helped me a lot in collecting audience
research because twitter has a larger array of users and this meant I could get
results from many different people about what type of magazines they like. This
technology helped me a lot with the creation of my magazine because of the
results I got from my audience research.

3. Similar to twitter I used surveymonkey to collect
audience research. However, unlike twitter I used
surveymonkey to ask more detailed questions
specifically about the Yorkshire Dales. I did this on
surveymonkey and not twitter is because I could send
my survey to people I know visit the Yorkshire Dales
when on twitter the survey was more general because of
the amount of people that would see and answer the
poll I was not able to direct it at people who visit the
Yorkshire Dales. The results I got from my audience
research conducted on surveymonkey helped me a lot
when creating my magazine.

4. Throughout the whole creation of my magazine I used photoshop. I
created my magazine cover, magazine pages, billboard and website
pages on photoshop. I used this software to edit the images of my
magazine and create the majority of my magazine. This software enabled
me to create a good-looking and effective magazine because of the
options it offers to edit images and create high quality media texts.
Without photoshop I would not have been able to create my magazine to
the quality I have created it to.

5. Throughout the developing, researching, planning and creating of my magazine I have been uploading the
things I make onto my blog on blogger to display it all. Blogger has really helped me with my magazine
creation because it is a place I can easily and effectively display all the components of my creation for
people to see. It helps me show people how I have come to make the magazine I have and exactly how I
made all the decisions I did. Without blogger I would not have been able to display my work effectively and
it would be harder to show people how I created my magazine.

6. I used prezi throughout my construction, research, and planning to
create presentations to present the information I have found out,
analyse media texts and show my planning. This software helped me a
lot throughout the creation of my magazine because I think the
presentation style is a good way to present my information. It let me
create effective and stylish presentation.

7. I used the camera to take pictures of the Yorkshire Dales for
my magazine, billboard, and website. I used a high quality
camera so I could get the best images possible for my
magazine and make it look the best it possibly can. I took this
hardware out with me when I was in the Yorkshire Dales and
took pictures of views/scenery I thought would look good in
my magazine. I used this camera portrait and landscape so I
could get suitable images that would fit in my magazine.
