5. ROUTINE PRACTICES

22. DISINFECTION
 Removal of all the litter from the shed after marketing
of flock.
 Clean the shed with steel brush.
 All clean the wings and litter outside the shed.
 After this wash the shed with simple to remove the
dust.
 Wash all the system carefully, nipples and feeders.
 Wash the nipples with bleach.
 After this, wash the shed with DMICD or any other
chemical.
1% of DMICD/100 liter of water.

23. CONTINUED…
 Close the house for 24 hours.
 After this wash the shed with CD20, virosid or
virusnip.
1% /100 liter of water.
 Close the shed for 48 hours.
 Formalin spray daily around the shed to kill the
germs.
 Take the new litter in the shed & gas the shed with
formalin and close the shed for 24 hours.
10% of formalin in 100 liter of water.
