2. Existing Product
In my product I
want to put the
characters of the
film on the centre
of the image.
I’ll include the name
of the magazine in a
large size font to
catch the audience’s
attention.
I liked the title of
this magazine
because it’s about
the film.
The colours of this
magazine is quite
dark, I don’t want to
use dark colours in
my product, so I
might use light
colours.
The audience might
be interested in
reading this magazine
because they might
like Marvel’s films.
3. Existing Product
The audience
might be
interested to read
this magazine to
get some
information
about this film.
They also might
like DC’s films or
the characters.
The main characters
again are on the
centre of the image.
They have used a large
size font to get the
audience’s attention.
This plug is talking
about another
superhero from
marvel.
They used dark
colours on the
background and I
might use the same
idea of a cloudy sky
on Photoshop.
4. Existing Product
The audience
might be
interested in
buying this
magazine
because of the
main image that
is the celebrity
Angelina Jolie.
I liked the way that
they used this circle
to helps the
audience see what
exactly is inside the
magazine.
The background of
some film
magazines is quite
dark. I might use
this idea because it
helps the audience
see clearly the
information that is
on the cover.
This part of the
magazine gives some
information about
things that might be
included in the
magazine or
information about new
movies and interviews
with some celebrities
that might be starring
in films.
5. Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched products
have?
– The character is on the centre of the magazine, large size
fonts, dark colours.
– The magazines are from “Total Film” magazines.
– The masthead is large enough to catch the audience’s
attention.
• What aspects of the research will you include within
your own work?
– I want to include a large size font on the masthead and a
nice main image of some characters of the film Pixel
because I think that will catch my audience’s attention.
– I also want to include a feature headline to capture the
target audience’s interest.
