This magazine is based upon movies and TV shows, the type of
content included in these magazine are news about movies,
seasons and episodes of TV shows being released, they would
also include information about what actors could be involved in
these. pictures and articles about different movies and shows
could also be featured in these magazines.
The photography in this magazine cover comes from a
professional photo studio with the actor dressed up in his
characters costume, these photos could also be taken from the
set of the movie . The colours in this magazine are quite vibrant
and extreme, the reason for this possibly is because the movie
that the actor is starring in on the front cover is set in space, the
magazine will capture the same style of the movie when
advertising it. The main text in this magazine is the title of the
movie, this is because they want the readers to know instantly
want the movie is called so thy will want to watch it and research
more about it. The font in this this cover is a very traditional
magazine font style.

This magazine is based upon video games, the type of content
included in these magazine are news about new games being
released, information about DLC’s (downloadable content),
posters and articles about different types of games depending on
the ratings of the games the magazine is promoting, if it is a
children’s magazine they would not promote any games above
the ages of PEGI 12, if it’s a magazine aimed for teenagers and
adults they would promote 18 rated games.
The photography in this magazine cover comes from photo shop,
it is a photo shop picture of a soldier going into war with tanks
and trucks following him from behind, the colours in tis poster are
very dark, the black represents night and the dim orange makes it
look like the light reflecting of something which could be in fire in
front of the soldier. The text on this cover looks really bold, this
makes it stand out, the main text in the center of the cover tells
the reader of the magazine the name of the video game, this is so
the reader will be tempted to read more about it which will
increase game sales if they are interested.

This magazine is based upon music, the type of content included
in these magazines are news about songs being released, chart
information, pictures and articles about different types of artist
depending what genre of music the magazine is focused on.
The photography in this magazine cover comes from a
professional photo studio. The colours in this magazine are quite
simple, I think because it is a professional and formal magazine
they do not get carried away with how much colour they put into
it, the white red and black colours do make it look very attractive.
The font choices in this magazine cover all share similar styles,
they are tilted.

products have?
• A common feature that reoccurs in my chosen existing products is the usage of
popular actors, game characters and musicians. Another feature that is common in
these magazine covers is the large amount of text advertising what the magazine is
about and telling the readers where they can find what they are looking for when
reading.
• What aspects of the research will you include
within your on work?
• I will include the large amounts of text to tell the reader everything they can read
in this magazine, I would also include articles to talk about what I will be
advertising. i will use pictures of (Artists, Film Characters) to make it more
entertaining for the readers. Having a magazine without pictures is not better than
having it with pictures.
