Garry’s Mod Style Idea: Garry’s Mod is an already existing game that
started out as a mod for Half Life and Counter Strike. If I was to use
this idea I would make it different from the existing game, for
example I would create everything myself from scratch but just use
the same concept of one of the many game modes in Garry’s Mod.
For example I could use the famous prop hunt game mode just like
many other games do but recreated, I can make my own
soldiers/hunters and props, with the backgrounds to go with it.
The Walking Dead Style Idea: The Walking Dead is an already existing
hit TV show and video game, therefore if I was to use this idea I will
have to make my own characters and zombies, music and
backgrounds. With this idea I could create a short episode of 30
seconds like the game apart from the time difference, I could create
characters and add little bits of dialogue.
The Battle Royale Style Idea: Battle Royale type games are where you
the player are thrown in to usually a big city and have to fight each
other to hopefully be the last one standing, game modes like this
usually also have game modes where you can play with your friends
too. With this idea I could create a short animation of the player
spawning in, grabbing a weapon and killing another player and then
getting killed. In this animation I could also include a player counter
and a map.

Battle Royale Idea:
I have decided to a Battle Royale Animation for this
unit. I have decided to do this because being a
gamer myself I know that Battle Royale games are
being very popular. Therefore when I finish this
product it will be very likely that a lot gamers will
see it as this genre is in so high demand. I will create
all the assets I plan to use in my animation myself,
for example; characters, weapons, backgrounds,
player counter, death animation and anything I can
think of I will add.

Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• When looking at the images I have collected the two games have very
different colour schemes, for example, I have collected images from
Fortnite and Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds. Fortnite have very bright
and eye appealing colours, it has a cartoon effect. Where as Battlegrounds
is mainly very grey and dull colours, almost like it is trying to give off a real
life effect.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• My mood board will influence my final product a lot as I will take certain
colour schemes and elements I like about both games, from the gun and
map design, to how the characters look and the overall feel of the game.
