2. Initial Reaction
My first reaction to the set brief wasn’t very exciting as I’m not that interested in video
games, I enjoy playing video game but when I heard that we had to make pixel one I
started to worry as I've never done anything like this before, however after some
research and experimenting I figured the basics out and started to enjoy it a little
more but I knew it was going to be difficult and more time consuming then any of my
other set briefs.
I am happy that we get to create any type of video game we want and we have a lack
of restriction to the project it’s self, it will allow me to create something I am proud of
and possibly something someone might actual want to play.

9. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
The images I have collects don’t have much colour to them, the lighting is very dark and the overall feel is on
edge. The images I selected for the art style are detailed pixel art that will take awhile to crate but with an
image reference I think it will turn out well. The over all mood is dark but also humourism with the images from
the film and the colour scheme.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
The mood bored will help me create my images for my video game as I will know what colour scheme I want
and the scenes from the film will help me design the background and draw the characters in detail. Gustavo
Viselner art work will help me get the correct shading in the images and maybe even help me sketch out the
drawings I want to do.

1. The game’s story line, setting and characters will be based on the 2013 film ‘The Worlds End’
2. The art style I want to create in my video game will be similar to Gustavo Viselner art work.
3. The type of video I would like to create is a role-playing game that is similar to the game Undertail.
4. As the game will be aimed at 16-19 year old’s I would like to make my game humorous to appeal to there
type of scene of humor.
5. I want the text boxes that the dialog will appear in and the characters name to be laid out like doki doki
literature club’s speech box’s are designed.
6. I plan to use the film as my main guidance for my game as it has all the important aspects I need to make
it a successful and enjoyable game.
7. The sound effects from games such as, undertail and animal crossing are important as I want to use a
similar sound effect fro when the characters are speaking, as in those games they don’t actually talk, it’s
just a bunch of high and low pitch noises.
