2. Initial Reaction
• My initial reaction to the brief wasn’t that
good as I thought I would have to code the
game ect but I then thought it was quite cool
using Photoshop time line. I did think it was
going to be super confusion but I've found its
not too bad.
3. Mind Map
Idea- car game
Layout- moving back ground with obstacles on the car has to go round
Colours- retro style, grey road white lines and red car, other cars could be other prime
colours
Audience- teens/adults , the game will have a retro feel and look to it but be verry
addictive for the scores on it.
Idea- skate game
Layout- retro platform style, rolling back ground sidewards.
Colours- lots of light greys and cream woody colours, standard street colours like
blue red.
Audience- teens/ adults that skate.
Idea- jumping game
Layout- rolling back ground with obstacles to jump.
Colours- light vibrant colours
Audience- teens/ adults that skate.
5. Mood Board Analysis
In my mood board theres a lot of retro styled platform games,
the colours are colour full but dull and theres a sort of fade to
the graffics, everythings very square and block type.
My mood board follows the same kind of style im going to go for,
a retro skate game with dull colours and an artistic block kind of
thing. I’ve gone for this look to create the best game for my
audience within the genre.
