4. Style sheet ( Cover )
• The covers only have one picture that cover the whole cover of the
magazine and depending on what is inside of the magazine when it
is more about producers there are less words on the front and
when it is about games, reviews and interviews about the games
are on the cover and all over it. When it comes down to the colour
scheme there are mainly dark colours which I plan to use in my
actual project. Then as for the fonts they use the fonts that they
had made for the magazine being Edge and Playstation and then
there is the normal one which is calibri body and that is probably
the font that I am going to use for the information in the magazine
and for the subheadings I will use calibri body with italics bold or
underline effect. Then at the bottom what they have is an issue
number which I also plan on using however I also plan on putting a
bar code on the front of the magazine.
5. Style Sheet ( DPS )
• The double page spreads use very few pictures, where I intend to use
more and only have a few bits of writing as that is what I am worse at but
there still would be a review and an interview within the double page
spread it just depends whether I try to do two different games or stick to
one as in the actual double pages spreads they only use one to write
about and then there are pictures from different games. The colour
scheme is weird as the covers are dark and the double page spreads use
light colours. The fonts used are calibri body or something very close to it
for the information and for the subheadings and headings they use the
exact same font just enlarged and they added a bold effect to it I also like
the style of the pictures which are used however I will have to add a little
bit of variety to them as I am probably going to use 2 fan art sort of
pictures and then use 2-4 actual in game pictures or ones from trailers and
a for the layout I will probably make it feel a little bit more messy than
what I have chosen but it is fairly similar to what I want use in my project.
