2. Initial Reaction
Within the boundaries of production I will have to produce a 2D pixel art game. Some ideas I have been thinking about
producing are like a stick man running game. All in black and white but colour slowly comes in. I would make this in
Photoshop and include a variety of ideas within. The main genre of the game will be mostly aimed towards adventure.
For this project I want to do something different to everything I have ever done to make it more unique and different. I
was also thinking about making a better version of my sweet sweep. This is because if I had more time to produce on
this and a better over look on the whole game since I produced it before this. I would add a more stead and overall
better view of the game. This is because the experience seemed to be slightly slow. For me to create this I would
include multiple layers and a better colour scheme and system of working.
Another idea I have been thinking about is based off a 2d shooting game. This is because I feel like if I could produce it,
it would come out nice and would look good for the time period we have and how we should manage it. This also will
be good to produce because the idea alone can give me inspiration alone to what I want to happen within the game. In
Photoshop I am good at create movement with layers and can make them move more flowingly and realistic for the
game industry. I am also good at creating music in my opinion. For the game I will be using one of my songs for sad
moment in the game or a more slow moment for what ever idea I choose to go along with.
In my opinion I am mostly aiming towards the idea of a stick man fighting game or a escaping game. I feel that in my
opinion that the basic idea of a stick man with a complication background of layering and music in Photoshop can make
this look really good and will seem professional that the idea is so simple but works extremely well for this project. I
also don’t think anyone else will do this idea within my class because it seems to simple for them to produce. For all of
the other ideas I have, in my opinion this one is the best and I am looking forward to production.

Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• There is a large repetition in the images like basic stick cartoons. This is because I like the images and the
way they are produced but work really well together. This type of basic image style works really well
because it makes the image fun because of the way the characters are draw or animated. There is a large
image of text in the middle that I like. This is because the image is typed as “basic” and is produced very
simply. This makes the image look what it says and I enjoy that type of art. The tone of he images are
literally mostly back and white but with a slight bit of colour to catch your eyes.
