Beyond the EU: DORA and NIS 2 Directive's Global Impact
Formal Proposal Advergame
1. Working Title:
Coca-cola advergame
Target Platform:
PC, however, with testing it could be ported to consoles and mobile devices
Genre:
Platformer game
Language / Territories
No written text would be required so it could be released worldwide
Synopsis / Treatment / Story / How the game plays:
The game is about an evil organisation who stole the coca-cola secret formula by creating cola
monsters that raided coca-cola HQ. Coca-cola tasked one man to bring the formula back. The
player will travel across multiple levels to get the formula back from the evil doctor Pepstein.
One Line SalesPitch:
Retrieve the coca-cola secret formula before it’s too late.
Style (similar products and graphical style):
The product is similar to old school platformers, specifically the “Super Mario” franchise.
Audience:
The target audience is people aged 16-19 however due to the nostalgic nature of the game people
of all ages could play it and have fun. The colours will be bright and distinctive which could also
attract a younger audience.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
No unethical of explicit content will be included within the game so it could be accessed by all ages
and will not likely offend and social groups, religions or ethnicities.
All characters would be made from scratch and therefore belong to the coca-cola corporation and
although the game will share many similarities with the Mario games it will be different enough
through level design and art style that we won’t get sued for copyright infringement by nintendo.
The one issue that could arise is defamation of the Pepsi brand, to avoid this we would avoid using
anything further than the colour blue, I would also suggest using a colour of blue that is similar but
the same as the one used by PepsiCo.
