Top leaders will stay forever because it’s safe and the
pay is good. But if people stay for an unexpectedly
long time in facility care or accounting, you are
probably looking at a healthy culture.
Why will people in facility care or accounting stay
for a long time?
Because
1. They are respected and treated as a vital member of
our office.
2. They are included in all the activities .
3. Regular verbal communication of recognition and
appreciation of their daily duties.
4. Personal and emotional support and guidance.
5. 3. Top Leaders Are Not Insecure
About Other Leaders Succeeding
In fact, they encourage it.
When do leaders and senior professionals in office encourage
others to succeed, sometimes resulting in others achieving and
performing better than them?
1. Leaders will encourage others to succeed when they
want to learn novelty from them and better
themselves.
2. Seniors who act as a mentor to every person below
and equal to her/him will take joy from their success
as they will be the reason for or they would have
enabled their success.
6. 4. Gossip Isn’t Tolerated
1. If you have a problem or an issue with a co-workers, talk to
her/him directly to resolve the issue. In turn, the person on the
other end should try to understand what the co-worker is
trying to communicate and be ready to discuss and resolve the
conflict instead of becoming defensive.
2. Encourage your co-workers to do the same, for personal and
professional relations. Talk about a person in their presence,
not in their absence.
At every level, gossip is shut down
with an encouragement to speak
directly to the individual.
Make it a policy!
7. 5. Lateral Leadership Is Outstanding
Leading people below you is easy compared to leading
people whom you have no authority. A great culture sees
people coming alongside their peers to encourage, or
occasionally to correct and redirect.
Open your mind and heart!
1. Cultivate a desire to achieve best productivity in every
person in the office.

same.

mission. It gives them energy, and they are constantly
thinking of ways to get it done.
Get your heart, mind and soul into work!
Have constant conversations about the project you’re
currently working on with your peers.
Discuss your thoughts and try to generate innovative and
effective methods of doing the work.
Contemplate the end result of each and every project.
When you step out of the office with a satisfaction that
you have performed excellent work at the end of the day,
leave that part of your heart, mind and soul that’s into
work and go spend time with your family/friends.
9. 7. It’s Not Just A Job
People go to movies, hang out at one another’s homes, and
sometimes even vacation together. This doesn’t mean they don’t
have other friends, but they really enjoy the company of the
people they work with.
Co-worker relationships are as important as our work!!

balcony lunch on the last day of the month to celebrate the good work
and efforts of that month, office cultural, karaoke evening etc
10. 8. The Team Believes They Are More
Important Than The Task
There is a sense that, as employees, they really
matter. They aren’t just people filling tasks; but the
culture, systems, language, and structure
communicate value.
"You matter!“
Right now the company needs you, YOU to do
particular task, YOU to be a part of this organization,
YOU to help take the organization to the next level.
This culture can be cultivated by emphasizing this
over and over till it becomes our way of thinking
11. 9. People Are Smiling

about work, life, politics, media
and everything possible.
2. Get to know each other, period.
12. 10. Fear Is Missing
People don’t fret if they say the wrong thing in front of the wrong
person. There aren’t hushed conversations because of the fear of
what will happen if they are overheard. Employees in an
organization with a great culture can walk into the boss’s office
with a concern and walk out knowing they were heard.
Drink mountain dew! (darr ke aage jeet hai)
1. Do not be afraid to make foolish remarks, stupid comments or
meaningless conversations. All of us do it all the time.
2. This will also enable one to learn from the mistakes and grow
constantly.
3. Also, do not judge when a peer makes a mistake. Help and guide
her/him if you can or offer comforting and encouraging words.
13. 11. Communication Is Strong
From the top to the bottom, people communicate.
Everything is communicated well in advance, along
with consequences and solutions.
Be Pro-active and pro-communicative
1. If you do not know what your peers from other
departments are working on, ask them.
2. Ask whether they are facing any
difficulty or are they enjoying
their current project.
3. Stir up a curiosity to know what
is happening in the office.
14. 12. Change Is Welcome
People aren’t afraid of change. It’s not that
everyone likes change, but most have been
through it so many times and have seen the
leaders manage change with care and dignity
that they no longer dread it.
The only thing that is constant is change.
1. Change can take you out of your comfort
zone, but it is made for your and
organization’s benefit and betterment.
2. Try to look at changes with excitement,
actively facilitate the change and help your
peers adapt as well.
15. • We have the power to change the culture, one
day at a time! Building a healthy culture starts
with a few determined people.
• No one wants to live in a culture of negativity.
People want to love their job and ultimately
love and positivity always wins out.
• Let us have the same desire, and take that first
step together!
