This workshop aims to help participants reinvigorate their instructional design for blended learning. The success of any learning program depends on whether it helps learners gain relevant skills and knowledge. This is often lost with poor instructional design. The workshop will provide support and learning opportunities to help teachers explore educational technology tools and incorporate them into their instructional design.

7. Why is this project being conducted this semester? The results of a 2009 TQR skills audit highlighted that teachers wanted to learn more about: instructional design e-learning assessment

8. The aims of this project? Provide timely support and learning and development options to teachers to reinvigorate their current teaching practice in a small work based project Identify and explore the use educational technology such as video-streaming web-conferencing and other tools such as my.tafe and resource Bank when designing learning for clients Provide varied PD support by providing funding, coaching, mentoring and sourcing other identified PD strategies for staff across TQR Institutes Clarify needs, communicate and connect teachers across TQR, collaborate where possible and create ways in which staff can learn with and from their TQR colleagues to enhance teacher capability .
