LESSON PLAN 
• Set Induction. 
During this stage, teacher introduced the topic of the day to 
the students which was “Better Safe Than Sorry”. Then, teacher 
asked the students opinion on road safety precautions and 
showed a video related.
• Video on Road Safety Commercial
• Presentation. 
At this stage, teacher distributed A4 paper to students and 
presented PowerPoint slides on modals verbs. Then, teacher 
explained the modals verbs by relating them with the topic of the 
day. After that, teacher asked the students to named other 
modals verbs.
• Practice. 
During this stage, teacher distributed worksheet on modal 
verbs to students and provided 5 minutes for students to finish 
answering the worksheets. Then, teacher discussed it together.
WORKSHEET ON MODAL VERBS
• Production 
During this stage, teacher divided the students to group of 5 
and asked the students to make brochure on road safety using 
the modals verbs. Teacher gave students 10 minutes to finished 
the brochure.
