The document summarizes a web conference that took place on August 3rd, 2012 about digital content. It discusses reviewing progress on projects, sharing learning through blogs and forums, applying digital content understanding to real world contexts, gauging what has been learned in the capability program, and next steps including a workshop in September. Apologies were given by Sandie McCoy and a video was watched to energize participants and relate to the topic of digital content.

Join this online session to explore David Merrill’s Pebble in the Pond (PiP) instructional design model for problem-based learning and consider how it can also be applied to game-based learning design.

For the last 5 months, we as a Digital Content - Leading Practice

and collaborating to enhance our skills and knowledge around
digital content design and development in the TAFE

sharing our learning through our blog and or yammer and other
communication strategies and some of us, to be brutally
honest, I don’t know where you are at?
So… in the month of August it is time to take time to review
what has been achieved and what is still to be started and or
completed so that there are positive outcomes from your
involvement in this capability program.

Scenario: As a digital content leading practice cohort, an expectation from your mentor and Institute would be to be able provide a perspective on what digital content is, after being involved in this capability project. Can we do that right now? How can we provide a simple summary that captures our learning and ideas? Can it be simplified and presented as an overarching document and then sub topics for forms of digital content. Could we use this format/customise this idea to summarise what it is and what form could this take?

Setting the context…. Personal case study interview scheduled with each person prior to August 30 th – 30 minutes with draft document as prompts.
How have you been doing this? How can you report on this to your Institute?
Designing a project report can take many forms but it might be useful to have a proforma concept that can then be customised by you using whatever technology and tools you like
