4. Building your vocabulary
is very important. There are
four ways on how to improve
your vocabulary skills. Learn
them here!

5. Learning the meaning of words
from the context of your reading
material can be the most useful
strategy to increase your
vocabulary comprehension.

that an author gives to
help define a difficult or
unusual word.

Analyzing the word’s structure and
properties is a vocabulary strategy
that you can use to figure out the
word’s meaning.

unknown word, you can guess
at its meaning by breaking
down the parts of the word.

memorize, you just think of the word HILARIOUS
for you to remember the word and its meaning.
Because Gregarious and Hilarious sounds alike.

16. The best way to improve
your vocabulary is to carry
a pocket dictionary to look
up new words as you
encounter them.

the end of the day.

you. Take pictures with your
