This document summarizes a student project on simulating and building a half adder circuit on a general purpose PCB board. The project aims to understand how a half adder circuit works, demonstrate skills in designing practical circuits, and increase technical knowledge. A half adder adds two binary digits and outputs the sum and carry. The student team simulated and built the half adder circuit using components like an XOR gate, AND gate, LED, wires and a PCB board. The circuit demonstrates applications of half adders in computer arithmetic logic units and building full adders. Completing the project helped develop skills like problem solving, critical thinking and teamwork.
