2. Capitalist Society.
Capitalism is a very complex system that is discuss by many authors, scholars and economists. Robert
Heilbroner is a famous American economist who creatively discusses the system of capitalism in
Twenty First Century Capitalism. He reveals the abstruse capitalism system and its role in society.
Heilbroner begins by comparing traditional society with modern capitalist society and differentiate
capital with wealth, which facilitate the reader to understand the basic definition of capitalism. He
then illustrates the most crucial aspect of capitalism, that is, the two realms of capitalism. According to
Heilbroner, the two realms of capitalism are state and economy or government and business. The
relation between these realms is interesting in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is important to understand the meaning and duties of the two realms of capitalism before learning
their relationship. Meaning and difference between state and the economy is very clear. State of a
society is the system that has power to control and enforce laws and regulations on different
institutions of society, whereas, economy of the society deals with labor, capital, natural resources and
the production, distribution of goods and services. Heilbroner reference Adam Smith to describes
duties of the two realms. Adam Smith illustrates the picture of economy in Society of Perfect Liberty
as: Every man, as long as he does not violate the laws of justice, is left perfectly free to pursue his own
interest his own way, and to bring both his industry and capital into competition with those of any
other man or order of men. The sovereign [we can read the state ] is completely discharged from a
duty, in the attempting to perform which he must always be exposed to innumerable delusions, and for
the proper performance of which no human wisdom or knowledge could ever be sufficient the duty of
superintending the industry of private people, and of directing it towards the employments most
suitable to the interest of the society (Heilbroner 53). According to Smith, the government should deal
with their courts, police forces, and jails; and the necessity to maintain what we would call the
national infrastructure, explicitly including education (Heilbroner

3. Christmas Eve
Christmas is magical in the eyes of a child. At least, that s how it was for me. Every year, as the month
of December rolled around, the lights were strung and the trees were set up, I sent my letter out with a
hopeful heart that Santa would make an appearance on my doorstep on Christmas Eve. The December
of 2008 was the year that I wished for an electric scooter. I mailed my wish list to Santa, knowing he
would prevail and deliver that Razor electric scooter with a hand brake and fat tires. Christmas
morning was perfect! Santa had brought me a plum colored, shiny, and fully charged electric scooter
and my younger sister, Olivia, a hot pink one. They were perched on their small silver kickstands in
front of our eight foot tree that was weighed down with years worth of homemade and souvenir
ornaments. The scooters were free of a box or wrapping, just how Santa always brought the gifts. As
soon as the all of the presents were ripped open and breakfast eaten, I pranced outside to test out my
new ride. It was a crisp, wintry morning with gray skies. I cruised back and forth on the scooter in
front of my house for hours, accelerating on the uphills and coasting on the downhills with the cold
wind blowing through my tangled hair and my nose turning pink from the low temperatures. It was
my absolute favorite present. Fast forward a few days, the Saturday following Christmas, and I was

4. A Short History Of Confucianism And Confucianism
Daniel Meltzer
ASST 101
Professor Dimick
23 November 2014
A Short History of Confucianism
Confucianism is a way of life propagated by the Chinese philosopher Confucius in the 6th 5th century
BCE, and it has been followed by the Chinese for more than 2000 years. Although Confucianism as
changed over time, at its core, it is still places the same emphasis on the substance of learning, the
source of values, and the social code of the Chinese. Additionally, the influence of Confucianism has
extended to other countries such as Korea, Japan, and Vietnam.
While Confucianism is sometimes viewed as a philosophy or religion, Confucianism is probably best
understood as a sort of all encompassing way of thinking and living, which includes such practices as:
ancestor reverence and human centered religiousness over that of the environment. While people all
over Asia can argue that they are Shintoists, Daoists, Buddhists, Muslims, or Christians, but, by
announcing their religious affiliations, very rarely do they stop practicing a Confucian way of life in
addition to their religious affiliation.
Although Confucianism is often grouped with the major historical religions, Confucianism differs
from them in that it is not an organized religion. Regardless of this fact, Confucianism has spread to
other East Asian countries under the influence of Chinese literate culture and has exerted a huge
influence on their spiritual, cultural, and political life. Both the theory and practice of

5. The Effect Of Heat Treatment On Manufacturing Capabilities...
Growth of any country depends upon its manufacturing capabilities. Today is world of
competitiveness. Every industry must need to increase their performance and reliability as well as
quality.Besides this one need to consider cost. Because at last cost will decide whether the thing is of
superior quality in that range. So every industry must reduce the cost of process.
Every product need to perform different functions as well as under different condition. So product
must possess different properties as per its usage.Different properties of the product will depend on the
material used. But most of function doesn t requires only one property. So product should have bunch
of properties.
Heat treatment is a group of industrial and metalworking processes used to alter the physical
properties of a material. Heat treatment is the process of treating material by heating the material up to
certain temperature and then cooling it at various cooling rates. It is noteworthy that the term heat
treatment applies only to processes where the heating and cooling are done for the specific purpose of
altering properties intentionally.
Other type of heating and cooling often occur incidentally during other manufacturing processes such
as hot forming or welding which can t be considered under heat treatment processes.By using heat
treatment process various property for same material can be achieved. This will be the combination of
properties required.

6. Reflection On The Republican Party
A little over two years ago, the Republican Party surprised me by electing its first African American

Whatever the reason, that was now the case and history was made. Not being of this party, I can not
speak directly to the affect he had on this party but what I can say is how much of his election made
me begin to see both parties moving forward and America finally beginning to turn the page on race

7. Similarities Between Performances Of Music And Sport
MacNamara, Holmes and Collins (2006) state that there are numerous similarities between
performances in music and sport. Expert musicians and sports performers are more able to adapt to
setbacks than lesser skilled performers, as well as experts having higher levels of dedication and
motivation and can communicate more emotion through the pieces being played. Similarly to Chaffin
et al. (2003) this communication of emotion may be related to the artistic image with both requiring
focus and decision making. In order to become an expert performer Abbott and Collins (2004) suggest
that talent development requires the possession of Psychological Characteristics for Developing
Excellence (PCDE), which as the performer moves through the transition phases become further
developed. PCDE s are both trait characteristics and state related skills such as self belief, dedication
and discipline (Abbott and Collins, 2004). Another significant aspect of becoming an expert musician
is deliberate practice. Deliberate practice requires determination with the correct motivation for the
performer, and the necessary time and effort roughly equating to 10,000 hours (Ericsson et al., 1993).
MacNamara, Holmes and Collins (2008) state that expert musicians require numerous aspects to reach
the highest level; natural talent and/or deliberate practice combined with social context and significant
others are needed to maintain performance at this high level. As talent is developed, the performer

10. Lexical Cohesion
The concept of cohesion accounts for the essential semantic relations whereby any speech or writing is
enabled to function as text. Cohesion is classified into different categories: lexical cohesion and
reference, substitution, ellipsis, conjunction or what is called grammatical cohesion. These categories
do not only have a theoretical basis as distinct type of cohesive relations but also provide a practical
mean for describing and analyzing texts. Each of these categories is represented in the text by practical
features. Undoubtedly there are other types of semantic relation within a text which are not
represented in the concept of cohesion. However, cohesion is the most important type of semantic
relation because it is common to every kind of text and it is what makes a text text. (Halliday
Hassan,1976,p.13) ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In spite of the various studies of lexical cohesion, most researchers agree that there are fundamental
features of lexical cohesion. There was an agreement among many of the researchers that lexical
cohesion is divided into two different types of relations. Halliday and Hassan (1976) call these
reiteration and collocation. In some other versions of studies the term repetition is used instead of
reiteration. Regardless of the term, this relation involves repetition of lexical items identically or in a
modified form (synonyms, antonyms, generalization, and specification). Items related by reiteration
may be also referentially related but this is not obligatory. The relation of collocation, on the other
hand, is an associative meaning relationship between words that tend to co occur with each other
regularly.

11. The Importance Of Natural Disasters In The Film Industry
Natural disasters are something that will likely plague the earth for years to come, even with the
advancements seen in technology by 2030. Until forecasting and prediction technology is perfected,
one can only hope to be adequately prepared when disaster strikes their location. Aside from
technology, the rapidly increasing global population also does not help with mitigation efforts in terms
of mitigating natural disaster casualties and destruction. Compared to a twenty year stretch ranging
from 1993 2013, the annual natural disaster death toll has doubled from 68,000 deaths, to 150,000
deaths per year (1).
Advancements in technology over the years have not been solely limited to natural disaster mitigation.
For example, the film industry currently offers Environfilms, a genre in which realistic temperatures,
smells, and motions are simulated throughout a disaster movie in correspondence to the events on
screen. In response to this increasingly realistic cinema opportunities, the Science and Entertainment
Exchange (SEE) has worked with filmmakers and scientists over the years in an effort to create a new
rating system. Unlike the Motion Picture Association of America s film rating system which sets an
age limit for movies, SEE s rating system wishes to provide a guideline for scientific accuracy in
disaster films. In doing so, SEE wishes to help audiences comprehend fiction from reality, and observe
an actor or actress actions on screen as a potential guideline for rescue and survival situations during a
natural disaster. Movies will be rated by two scientists and two film industry professionals on a scale
ranging from one to five. Any film receiving an average above a four will receive the SEE seal of
approval. Any film under four will be forced to have a disclaimer, and issue an online explanation on
the limited scientific accuracy of the said film.
As a judge reviewing the aforementioned SEE proposal, I would motion to vote in favor of applying
the guidelines to disaster movies. In terms of civilian and consumer interests, I believe the SEE ratings
will only help the populations approval of the film industry, and faith in it. Celebrities can make or

How often do you daydream on a daily basis? According to researchers, people daydream about half

in Rome (121 180 CE) and at the age of eleven, he was introduced to the precepts of philosophy.
Through his 19 years as an emperor, the choices Aurelius made towards his people are remarkable

However, standards of goodness differ from a person to another. Plato believed a philosopher king can
achieve the absolute standards of goodness and then must be the ruler. Most people, on the contrary,
do not believe in Plato s ideals as various individuals have different interests, and for the sake of
peace, there should not be a ruler who chooses what he thinks is right for his subjects. They want a
system that reflects what they want; they want democracy. Here comes the argument if a philosopher
king should control everything or it is the right of people, the majority, to decide what to happen
(tyranny democracy); to rule themselves. Apparently, there is no absolute regime that has no
drawbacks. Each regime has its own strengths and weaknesses, but which is more compatible with this
age, which is a more appropriate way to settle peace and justice, and which is a better economical
solution a philosopher king or tyranny democracy?

On the performance and analysis of DNS security extensions The domain naming server plays a vital
role in the internet as it is needed and is involved in every internet application. DNS now works well
and it is also sometimes mentioned that any new changes added to the present DNS may contribute to
interruption to its functionality and can also contribute towards additional complexity which is
undesirable. Current networks and the future networks relay essentially on DNS and it is important
that the DNS should be a secured one. The DNS can be easily attacked and such an attack can cause
dire consequences so it specifies the importance to use a secured version of DNS to avoid such
consequences. To employ such a version involves more cost. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Cost for increasing security to DNS varies depending on the kind of name server used. When the data
is static then PK DNSSEC is suitable and when the data is dynamic, better option would be to
consider SK DNSSEC. Caching resolvers computational cost is large in PK DNSSEC and non
recursive servers computational cost is high in SK DNSSEC [2]. Hybrid approach is used to eliminate
these computational costs. SK DNSEC cryptographic core contributes less to the total cost in
producing symmetric certificates and thus a better performing efficient and fast cryptographic core can
be used to improve the performance. If a new resolver is added or when existing root certificate
becomes invalid then public key cryptography is used by the SK DNS. In these cases root server can
take care of the load caused by valid requests whereas the root server enabled with SK DNSSEC is
sensitive to reject of service attack. Security and performance both can be achieved by using hybrid
approach. It can be used with PK DNSSEC for the top level domain of DNS tree and for SK DNSSEC
for lower level domain of DNS tree. Size of the response packets of DNS are increased by producing
higher network traffic and latency in PK DNSSEC. SK DNSSEC is considered to be a possible
alternative for PK DNSSEC for few of the important reasons like key management is made easy with
SK DNSSEC, smaller response packets which require small memory for caching. [1]

Humanity has always struggled with the controversy of how the universe was created, since it is a

Christianity is the most followed religion, and evolution is the most popular scientific belief.
Christians claim there is a greater being (God), who created the universe.
Evolutionists, on the other hand, claim the earth and humanity came to be through the big bang. The
creation debate tends to focus on evolution and Christianity. Through gap creationism, evolutionary

hearing more views on creation. People who are only taught Evolution actually tend to be less likely

INTRODUCTION
A contract (according to Gibson 1997) is a lawful agreement made between two or more persons
within the limits of their contractual capacity, with the serious intention of creating a legal obligation,
communicating such intention, without vagueness, each to the other and being of the same mind as to
the subject matter, to perform positive or negative acts which are possible of performance.
Contracting parties through agreement, breach and operation of law can terminate contractual
agreements. This paper will focus on termination of contracts through breach. Breach of a contract

As a result he was not obliged to take the post in order to mitigate the losses.
SCRUTINY OF CAUSATION AND REMOTENESS OF DAMAGES
To avoid undue hardship to the defaulting party a line must be drawn separating damages resulting
from his breach for which he should be liable and damages which, although in the broad sense of the
word are as a result of his breach, are so remote to extent that he should not be liable for them. This
line is drawn when separating General (intrinsic) damages from Special (extrinsic) damages.
The courts insist that the damages should be direct rather than indirect. Direct damages are also known
as general or intrinsic damages. They flow naturally and generally from the kind of breach of contract
in question.
Indirect damages are special or extrinsic damages, which are only recovered in special circumstances
attending the conclusion of the contract.
In Zimbabwe there is only one possible test that could be applied to decide whether special or
extrinsic damages can be recovered for breach of contract. This test is the contemplation principle.
The test applied under this principle is to check whether the contracting parties actually or
presumptively foresaw that the breach of contract in question would result in the type of loss being
sued for. Case in point is that of Collective Self Finance Scheme (CFC) v Asharia (A) year 200 in
which CFC contracted to buy a property from the respondent and paid a deposit. CFC later repudiated

23. Research Paper On Aladdin Jr.
Aladdin Jr: A Personal Response Aladdin Jr. is the 13th play I have been in. Being in this show is a
very bittersweet experience for a couple of reasons. One of the reasons is that I am about to age out of
being able to perform with the company, Alamance Childrens Theater (ACT). The second reason is
this will be the last play that I will ever get to work on with my best friend again. That being said, I
have been giving my all to this show to make it the very best it can be. In this play I am one of the
Harem girls, also one of the featured dancers. When I found out I was going to be a featured dancer, I
laughed because I was the last person I thought they would pick for that part, but they did. This show

24. The Rhagoletis Pomonella Fruit Fly
Forming a new species can be very tricky, however it is possible. This takes up time and also you need
to breed one species with another specific species to get an end result. When it comes to reproducing,
choosing a mate is very important. Also, there will be competition between all of the objects
participating in this reproduction. Food resources are another very important thing to be aware of. A
well known example of evolving into a new species is the Rhagoletis pomonella fruit fly. This fly used
to eat the fruit off of a hawthorn tree, but now it feeds on apples. The fruit fly has evolved into a more
genetically distinct fly. Now, the new species changed the mating process. The way the males forage
might have an an effect on the female s choice of mate. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Evolution happens all the time, and it takes hard work to study what evolution is and how it works. In
class right now, we have been learning about evolution, speciation, competition, fitness, and also
different types of selection. For example one type of selection is natural selection. In the article, they
talked about sympatric speciation. I did not know what it was at first. This means the degree to which
different individuals compare for resources, and the variety of resources available. The reason that this
was included in the article is simple. Sympatric selection played a big part of the evolution of the
Rhagoletis pomonella fruit fly. The fruit fly changed its eating or foraging habits. Now the female s
have to decide whether they want a mate that eats apples, or the fruit from a hawthorn

25. Primates Essay
As humans we try to view our origin as species and it is important for us to understand how we
evolved through time. Anthropologists study primates so much because primates have the most similar
characteristics to humans, allowing us to learn more about our past. There are a few methods that
Primatologists use to make their research relevant to anthropology: field study, laboratory study, and
semi free ranging. Field studying is done in nature, where scientists study primates in their natural
habitats. Laboratory study is when the environment is completely controlled, and scientists get to
perform experiments on the learning behaviors and capabilities of animals. In semi free ranging
studies, scientists see how primates act in the wilderness ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

sometimes not there at all. They have prehensile tails (used like a 5th leg), no butt pads, and are tree

Monkeys live in social groups composing of mated pair. Old World Monkeys are dispersed around sub
Saharan Africa and southern Asia ranging from tropical jungle habitats to semiarid desert and even
seasonally snow covered areas in northern Japan (139). Old World Monkeys contain medium to large

usually on the ground during the day time but return to the trees at night. Old World Monkeys live in

26. Analysis Of The Film Leni Riefenstahl
Having directed and acted in many films, Leni Riefenstahl has become a major figure of the Nazi film
industry. Her most well known film Triumph of the Will (Triumph des Willens, 1935) is still
considered the greatest propaganda film of all time. While Riefenstahl claims that the film is a
documentary and based on history . Susan Sontag s response is that the film it is seen as a portrayal of
a fascist society. A Nazi propaganda tool and not necessarily intended as a fascist viewpoint. Sontag
reasons that the film techniques, and the relationship between Leni Riefenstahl and the Nazi
leadership as well as the consistent illustration of fascist themes found in the film establishes that
Triumph of the Will is fascist and intended to promote and preserve the Nazi ideology.
During the rise of power of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party s in the 1930 s, Leni Riefenstahl became a
household name as a film director, her claim to fame was putting a public face to Hitler. During this
time period, it was very rare for the public to know what their leader looked like, and with this film it
allowed many of the Germans to finally get to see who they elected into power. Hitler s goal was the
complete eradication of the Jewish peoples, in addition he wanted to spread his ideology and power
across Europe. In order to achieve this goal, Hitler needed the support of all of the German citizens.

29. The Spiritual Exercises Of Ignatius Loyola
I will explore a few of unique approaches as outlined in the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius Loyola. I
will describe my experience of integrating some of the concepts of spiritual direction into my practice.
Barry and Connolly in their book The Practice of Spiritual Direction say that, we define Christian
spiritual direction as help given by one Christian to another which enables that person to pay attention
to God s personal communication to him or her, to respond to this personally communicating God, to
grow in intimacy with this God and to live out the consequences of the relationship . Smith says that
spiritual direction rests on the assumption that each Christian believer has the capacity for an
immediate relationship with Christ. This means that the Christian, in real time, encounters the
crucified, risen and ascended Lord . Therefore, my understanding of spiritual direction is that it is an
attempt to help Christians to listen to God s voice, to develop intimate prayer life and relationship with
God and to grow in response to God.
Ignatius Loyola in his Spiritual Exercises promotes our capacity, through our prayers, to hear Christ s
voice and to use our senses to feel and experience His presence. Smith says, Spiritual Exercises of
Ignatius Loyola is very focus on Jesus or, more specifically, on the Jesus story: his birth, life, death
and resurrection. In prayer and through the guidance of the Exercises, we are drawn into the Jesus
story so that our lives

30. King Arthur Isolationist
While it is true that some of the Arthurian Narratives show a violent process of cultural and
geopolitical circulation, I believe claiming the whole of the Arthurian legend to be this way is
problematic. The same can be said for the claim that Arthur is both expansionist and isolationist.
These traits typically depend on the time period and the origin of the author. For example, Geoffrey of
Monmouth shows a violent process of cultural and geopolitical circulation while also being
isolationist in his Latin Historia Regum Britannie. After Arthur is crowned, he has to give a gift to all
his men, but he has nothing to give, so Arthur, accordingly, in whom courage was combined with
generosity, decided to harry the Saxons, so he could bestow their wealth on the retainers who served
him. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While doing this, he does manage to concur more land that will probably be made Christian, but this
story was more a chance for the writer to complain about current rulers during his time by comparing
them to Arthur. At the end of his piece, he states, I am always amazed that King Arthur was so
generous a man and the lords nowadays are so miserly. King Arthur did well to relinquish so readily
such a rich land... Here he is implying that they should be similar to the Britain s because King Arthur
was obviously a very great lord. Because of this, I would argue that this story does not show a sense of
cultural isolation. der Stricker wants his lords to act similarly to King Arthur. In most cases, the quest
involved seems to involving concurring, but in the case of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, no one
was being concurred, and there was no cultural anxiety necessarily present. Gawain was simply going
on a quest to prove himself. This writer manages to include both French manner, Christianity, and
pieces of the Latin chronicles without conflicts

31. Babylon Revisited Analysis
Babylon Revisited is a heart felt, beautifully delicate exploration of success, failure and redemption. F.
Scott Fitzgerald uses his main character Charlie Wales past, present, and desired future to paint a
portrait of the things that he feels are the most important in life. Success is examined through the
actions of Charlie and his wife during the height of their wealth and the strain that it can cause. Failure
is unfolded in Charlie s loss of wealth and family and finally, redemption is explored through Charlie s
desire to raise his daughter and control his apparent alcoholism. Charlie Wales was wealthy. While he
lost some money in the stock market crash (232), he became very wealthy in the subsequent market
boom. He was described ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Charlie had matured and prepared himself for some of the abuse that he would suffer when he tried to
reclaim Honoria, but in the end his past ruined his opportunity. The anger and disdain was palpable
when Lorraine and Duncan intruded into Charlie s new life and cost him his desired reunion and
redemption. F. Scott Fitzgerald seemed to be telling his own story through Charlie in Babylon
Revisited . Fitzgerald explored success and its trappings through Charlie and Helen s decadent
lifestyle. He illustrates the attitude and complacency that tore Charlie and Helen s relationship apart
and in many ways attributes that to Charlie s success. As Charlie s story was unfolded, Fitzgerald
exposed his failures. Charlie is depicted as childish, immature, and as an alcoholic. His failure to keep
his family together though is shown as his greatest failure and the strongest catalyst for his
redemption. The manner in which redemption is addressed is delicate and beautiful. Rather than
Charlie getting everything he wants and being a reformed man, Fitzgerald showed him struggling to
make adjustments to his life, to accept his failures, and when faced with the fact that he would not be
taking Honoria out of Paris, an understanding that his road back to his family and the life he wanted
would not be easy. Fitzgerald wielded those elements and his own experience to make Babylon
Revisited a heart felt, beautifully

33. All Quiet On The Western Front Human Nature Essay
In Erich Maria Remarque s novel, All Quiet on the Western Front, human nature is the only abstract
periphery between belligerent barbarism and justifiable violence. Through the insipid bombardments
that rained shells over the Germans heads and noxious implementation of mustard gas, Remarque
dexterously misleads the reader into believing that he fights in an apathetic war where all remnants of
human nature and identity have been destroyed with the introduction of trench warfare. Through Paul
Baumer s eyes, Remarque identifies war as an artificial construct devoid of human identity and any
subsequent emotions until the first bombardment, the first glimpse Baumer has of the unfettered
abominations of war. After the shrieking of artillery shells ceased, it was replaced by the numbing
scream of injured horses. Paul described this abhorrent noise as the moaning of the world..., wild with
anguish, filled with terror, and groaning (Remarque 62), the first emotionally provocative scene in the
novel. As if the description of the noise did not suffice to pique the reader, Remarque continues, The
belly of one is ripped open, the guts trail out. He becomes tangled in them and falls... (Remarque 63).
At this instant, Remarque sheds the obscure layer of superficiality and reveals the tatters of human
nature and identity still exist even in most anguish conditions of comeradeship, sympathy, contrition,
and selflessness. As the war worsens, Baumer and his colleagues gradually

targeted audience because he is saying to all the men out there to smell like a man and be like me. He

I cannot describe what Catholic Education means to me currently without recalling what it once meant
to me. Catholic Education meant different things to me at different stages of my life. From
kindergarten to around grade 5, Catholic Education was just education. I knew public schools existed.
I understood that Catholic schools engaged students in the Catholic faith. Like my peers I would pray,
listen during religion lessons, and sit cross legged on the gymnasium floor, cramped together with 500
other students. The masses meant nothing to me. (They really just meant discomfort because my legs

I came to conclusions about my faith and Catholic Education. Catholic Education still does not mean
much to me. However, it brings together people who (most of the time) come from a
Catholic/Christian backgrounds, and creates a sense of community. For that I appreciate Catholic
Education. What I do not find as nice about Catholic schools is that despite being centred around
religion, people in Catholic schools can be just as mean spirited, rude, and uncompassionate as people
in public schools, if not worse. I am aware that it is unrealistic to assume that those in Catholic schools
are all wonderful people, but I find reality ironic. In my opinion, Catholic Education is like public
education, except Catholic students have school masses and are obligated to take religion courses. As I
introduced previously, being subject to Catholic Education and those devoutly religious for the better
part of 13 years has guided me to my brand of Catholicism so to speak. Catholic Education has
inadvertently, or possibly intentionally, started me off on my own spiritual path by showing me what I

religious beliefs are lifelong works in progress, and I suppose that without Catholic Education my

A letter of request,
Dear Chief Burial Master, I leave this letter wishing to inform you of my wishes for the afterlife.
I, James Doss leave you this letter regarding the actions that shall be taken to preserve my legacy
beyond this realm in the event of my death. Being a direct descendant to the bloodline of Ramesses
the Second, I expect this letter to be followed to the very letter. Due to the unforeseeable future that
could lie beyond my death, I shall inform you of his accomplishments to prove my worth. Rameses II
throughout his 66 years of rule prove to be one of the most impressive architects of this empire. He
has erected many great temples statues and cities, which now serve as key landmarks for navigation
and many flawlessly serve their purpose, as was defined at their construction. Born to Sety I and
Queen Tuya, Ramesses II showed great promise from an early age. Upon his appointment as ruler, he
began immediate reinforcement and fortification of existing Egyptian defenses showing to the people
he was a ruler that prayed for peace, but prepared for war. On top of his great architectural prowess,
my father should also be noted for his great empathy and kindness. Exhibited many times during his
reign, I wish to detail the instance in which he sheltered his own enemy king Mursili III from the
Hittite people he once commanded. He can also be commended for his brave fighting during various
military campaigns, and especially during the battle of Qadesh in the year 1274
