  2. In this presentation we will look at referral programs, the cost and time required, along with the execution details, tips, and alternatives in running your campaign.
  3. Introduction to referral programs Referral programs are any type of program in which a company pays employees, customers, or other companies a commission or flat fee for referring others to them. Referral programs are much like affiliate programs except referrals can be for customers as well.
  4. Cost and timeframe Typically, the only real cost is what is given away . The budget obviously should scale to the size of what you are selling. Setting up referral programs is quite easy and shouldn't take much time to set up, but waiting for the word to spread and for results to show can take a bit of time.
  5. Action plan Coming up with the rules and qualifications of a referral program is really all that is needed. You must offers rewards that are tempting enough to entice people to refer friends and other customers. Also, think about joining a larger program, such as Nextbee to get the word out about your new strategy.
  6. Tips and tactics Offering great service, terrific products, and making customers feel like a part of your team will make them want to refer your company to others. Remember to be quick in payments and responses to maintain the professionalism and people’s faith in your company.
  7. Additional considerations Start your own blog and give customers a chance to leave feedback and testimonials on your site. Another free or low-cost way to reach an audience is through posting classified ads.
