Introduction to ezine marketing eZines are basically glorified emails that are sent on a regular basis to a group of subscribers. eZines is a great marketing tools that can be used to deliver company or product information directly to your clients, in a form that's interesting and useful to read.
Cost and timeframe You might have to incur cost by paying a freelancer to design the newsletter. In case you don't have your own mailing list, be ready to spend a few hundred dollars on renting it. Creating an eZine can be a fairly time-consuming process, as you will need to outline and create the email that you will send. You must give sometime should be given for the results to come in.
Program management details In case you do not have your own contact list, creating a good quality one is the key and the first step to your campaign. When creating an eZine, be sure to fill it with interesting and useful information. Keep readers involved in the eZine by encouraging testimonials, asking them to guest write articles, and offering giveaways to regulars. Once readership is high and you have a good response rate, you can then start to think about selling advertising space.
Tips and tactics Make sure your newsletters are precise and to the point. Providing useful information about not just your product but also the industry will keep readers interested in your newsletters. Running contests, offering give aways, asking referrals is a good way to keep users engaged with your campaign.
Additional considerations A mass delivery mailer will allow you to import all the addresses from a database with just one click of mouse. An email delivery monitor will let you know which emails were delivered to inboxes and which ended up in junk folders. These two tools will save you lots of time and will make your campaign much more efficient.
