Our target audience was appropriate for our media production. The feedback we received from questionnaires aligned with our original ideas and identified no issues. While some secondary audience feedback was considered, our primary target audience would get more from the production by being challenged and engaged, and gaining information and perspective in a sophisticated way. The questionnaire responses confirmed we understood our target audience, though some aspects of our initial plans like dialogue and lighting levels could be improved.

Originally starting as a local drink in Atlanta, Coca-Cola spread its message by giving out free samples, coupons, and putting its logo on various promotional items. It established iconic visual branding with its logo and red-and-white color scheme. Even today, Coca-Cola uses aggressive holiday advertising like the Christmas truck tour to associate itself with tradition and remain top-of-mind for consumers. The company also employs spin techniques and damage control to maintain a positive public image through commitments to sustainability and shaping media coverage of any negative events.

Poster Ideas For my poster, I have decided to aim it at a mixed audience of both children and adults as I feel this kind of campaign and organisation needs more that just one group of people in particular to help. It will be largely aimed at a younger audience as these are the people that are most likely unaware of what is going on and the destruction that is being caused to the sea. The poster will be in a cartoon style, however I would also like to try out getting an image of the sea and then adding cartoon characters as I think that this could work really well and show the kind of photography element for the adults and then the cartoon aspect to appeal to younger generations that will see this poster. Bright colours will be used as I want the poster to stand out and get attention from people as it is also advertising a beach clean up that families can come along to. As a result of this, it means that it needs to appeal to people and not look dull and boring as then many families won’t consider joining in and getting involved with the organisation.
