2. Idea 1
Please clean
our home!
I have selected lots of cartoon images as this just makes
it much more appropriate for the audience as this is for
everyone, however I wanted it to be suitable for a
younger audience also so that they are also able to see
the effects of littering the beach and what other people
are doing to the sea. I have selected lots of bright colours
to draw attention and also picked these cute images of
sea creatures as this just makes it less harsh, yet with the
speech bubbles it still gets the message across.
I am going to make these kind of cartoon
animals in Photoshop as I think this is a much
more sensitive way to approach this subject
as the underlining meaning is that these
animals are being affected, killed and injured
by the litter that is put in to the sea and left on
the beaches. I will also have these speech
bubbles as it helps get the message across to
people of a younger age.
3. This would be used for the text in
the speech bubble, this just adds
to the child-friendly theme this
campaign is aiming for.
Rest of the text e.g. logo
This would be the style of
logo for this campaign.
4. Idea 2
This idea is basically to show the destruction
that is happening to the beaches that people are
visiting, all as a result of the public and some
other sources. This particular campaign is aimed
at adults as the other two have been really
focused at a younger age group and have been
more interactive such as the beach clean up.
This is more of the harsh reality of what is
happening so it is much better suited to adults
who can also get involved and help out or
donate. The idea for the poster is to show a
clear beach with the sea coming in and bringing
all of the dirt, litter and fishing supplies
That have been dumped in the sea with it.
This just shows exactly what is really
Going on and the poster will also have
Contact details so that people that see it
can either donate themselves or even
Choose to get involved and become a
Volunteer as this kind of information will
be included. More text can be on this one
As it isn’t for a younger age group,
However I still want the image to be the
main focus and also the brand name and
logo so they know who it is.
5. Idea 2
This would be used for any
slogans or text used on the
poster for the campaign.
These would be used for the
actual organisation name and on
the logo.
Logo
example:
The colours would be
really toned down and
quite dull as it shows
the beach has
lowered in quality.
6. Idea 3
These cartoon images show who the audience is as they
are very childlike and lack too much detail so they are
really simple, making them good for kind of primary
school age where the schools will take them on trips such
as this beach clean up that can be really educational and
also fun.
The advertisement campaign needs to
look fun and exciting as it is for children
so something such as cleaning really
needs to excite them. Involving a
character that they all know and that is
familiar to them such as this SpongeBob
character below could potentially be a
really good idea. This makes it much
more fun looking and will also appeal to
them more as if a kid sees a picture of a
character that they see on TV they are
most likely going to be interested on what
it is and why it is on this campaign.
7. This would be used for the text in the
speech bubble as it links with the child
friendly theme and also links well with the
animations used such as the SpongeBob
character.
This font would be used for the
text on the main poster that is
going to read “beach clean up!”
These will be used for the text
on the logo or for the text on the
poster on any other areas.
These are just some examples of what the hoodies and the merchandise area of this campaign would
look like for all three of my ideas, however I will design a much wider range of items instead of just
hoodies as an option. I have just kept these very simple as an example, to show that I will include the
logo of the organisation as a way to promote the brand when people are wearing them. The items will
all come in a range of colours, some plain like these two and also some brighter to attract more of a
wider audience to this merchandise. I would also like to design some children's wear as I have seen
from research that many organisations do this and it would also link with some of the campaigns I have
created as two of them are more suited to be child friendly and sensitive around certain topics. I would
like to design T-shirts, jumpers, beanies, keyrings and
