When thinking of buildings that were ahead of their time two come to mind the Chrysler Building and
the Seagram Building. Both of these structures were built to withstand the elements of time and are
still beautiful to this day. These buildings have been featured on the cover of magazines, tv shows and
are modern marvels in today s society. Between the two buildings, one can not help but look at the
similarities as well as the differences between the two. Today I want to discuss these differences as
well as the similarities and go into greater detail on why these buildings are significant. The Chrysler
Building is an Art Deco style skyscraper that was built during one of the most severe economic
downturns in this country s history. The building was finished in the year 1930 and is located in New

unexpected and sudden change in motion of the head in order to analyse the resulting motion. The data
collected was the rotational position of the head, the linear position of the cart, and the linear position

main question, there had to be a further understanding of how the mechanics of the head and neck

It examines the (basically exagerated, and possibly likely)new media conglomerates, the power they
have, how the use and abuse it especially in relation to the world economy. One can spend pages and
pages outlining the aspects of the world that Idoru covers; every little point begs to be interperated,
and as there is such a wealth of infomation, ideas, and typographic references to modern culture, a
mass of isomorphisms which reach out to one, this book is, to me, personally at least, bordering on
revolutionary.
Idoru is however, not a work of classic liturature, and doesnt share much with its classical literary
counterparts (Brave new world for example), but as a work on its own, within its own genre it is
certainly one of the finest. Perhaps in this analysis, one should consider the usual analytical tools (plot,
structure, characterisation etc), aswell as how this book could help us in predicting a (considerably
less dark) vision of the future, not to mention what it is about this book that inspires one so much.

at Chelles is famous for having cultivated the art of writing. 1 The story of the journey of this codex is
unknown. From the nunnery in France, this codex spent time in the library of Queen Christina of
Sweden, before heading to the Vatican Library. But other than these three location, the whereabouts of
this book through the century are unknown. What is known is this codex was made for priest not
bishops and was used in Roman churches in the seventh century. 2 Also, it has not, however, reached
