Melania Trump Case Study
During the one on one interview of Melania Trump that was hosted by Anderson Cooper; which aired
on CNN Anderson Cooper 360 October 17, 2016, was thought provoking. One reason being her
husband, Donald Trump has been openly critical of CNN s coverage, referring to it as Clinton News
Network . Many viewers were surprised that Melania decided to give CNN this interview so quickly
after her husband recorded tapes of him sexualizing women were leaked. The host and interviewer
Anderson Cooper is a television host, author and journalist. He is best known for being the primary
anchor of the CNN news show Anderson Cooper 360°. Melania Trump is a Slovene American former
model, and wife of Donald Trump.
The interview itself came off as somewhat uncomfortable and slightly hard to understand Melania at
times. What I initially noticed was that they were both sitting a good length away from each other.
Each of them sitting with shoulders pushed back and sitting straight while giving one another direct
eye contact. Melania has a thick accent, which can sometimes cause miscommunication with the ...

She continuously blamed the media for trying to portray her husband as something he wasn t. She
finally admits what her husband says on tape is inappropriate and wasn t acceptable. During this
portion of the interview both are still in a professional manner, but I did notice how Cooper would
occasionally unfold his legs and use his hands when he started to ask another question. He did,
however, keep them above his knee, but below his collarbone, any higher he may have unintentionally
come off as agitated. This type of body language let me know he was either trying to get more
comfortable or he was adjusting himself into a different position because he was about to start a
different line of

Cost Of Art Education
Pablo Picasso once said Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows
up. Think about this, when a child is young they are given crayons and paper to occupy their time;
mothers sing to their babies or play them classical music. From a young age we are taught to create,
and we really are all artists. We create until creation is deemed nonessential, and the art projects we
work into our everyday routine are demoted to electives. Funds for Education have been cut in over
80% of U.S. schools in the last 10 years, and the first programs to leave are often art education.
Harvard President Drew Faust recently wrote. The same classes we as a nation are deeming

School System needs to stop defunding art programs because art is important in our history. Without
art, we would have less interpretation of our history. In any history class we study the artists of each
time period and how they interpreted their times. Most of what artists do is tell stories, they help us
make sense of the world. It can connect us to the past, present and the future. Throughout history our
greatest minds have often merged discovery and art, the geniuses we learn about in history aren t only
math matachins or scientists, but artists on top of that. Einstein stressed the importance of having a
creative mind, once saying I m enough of an artist to draw freely from my imagination, which I think
is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. Without art
we would have a much more narrow view of our past, and future generations will have a narrow view
of our current events. Sure, you could say that we still have a history without art; but without photos,
paintings, and sculptures would we really fully grasp our past? By cutting our generation off from art
education we are cutting off future generations from learning too. Without artists to document our
history, our great grandchildren will be without that connection to what s going on today. While art
connects us to the past, and the world s history, it connects us to so much

Appropriate Observation
Out of every given site, site E was most likely to have fossils because it has the traits that are needed
to find fossils. There is no vegetation, lots of sedimentary rock, and shows evidence of erosion. In this
project, our group evaluated every site to find the most fossils and narrowed it down to site E. To start
it off, there is an absence of vegetation. This makes fossil finding easier because the paleontologists
don t need to dig under trees, roots, and other assorted plants to get to fossils that may have been
hidden under vegetation. This makes digging much harder as opposed to sedimentary rocks. When
vegetation lies on the ground, it is much harder to find fossils as the time spent uncovering the ground
of plants will take up more

Early Renaissance And The Renaissance
Early Renaissance to High Renaissance
The Renaissance is the period that immediately follows the Middle Ages in Europe ancient Rome and
Greece. Growing prosperity and reduction in political stability accompanied by new technologies, the
printing press, astronomy and the exploration and discovery of new continents was supplemented by a
blossoming of philosophy, literature, and art. Painting style, decorative arts, and sculpture arose in
Italy in the 14th century, reached its peak in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. These were the
works of Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo and others. Renaissance expressed classical
Greco Roman traditions and captured the experience of the individuals and the mystery and beauty of
the natural world.
The origin of the Renaissance
The origins can be dated back in the late 13th and early 14th centuries. During this period (between
1280 and1400), the Italian scholars and artists perceived themselves as regeneration to the
achievements and ideals of Roman culture. Some writers like Giovanni Boccaccio (1313 1375) and
Petrarch (1304 1374) remembered ancient Greece and Rome and pursued to revive the languages,
intellectual and value traditions of these cultures after the long period of inactivity that had proceeded
the fall of the Roman Empire in the 6th century.
Giotto, the Florentine painter, (1267 1337), is the famous artist of the Renaissance who made vast
advances in the style of expressing the human body realistically. His

Analysis Of Fifty Shades Of Grey
Blissed Pleasure
Gwendoline Christie once said, Genuine and true love is so rare that when you encounter it in any
form, it s a wonderful thing, to be utterly cherished in whatever form it takes. In the novel Fifty
Shades of Grey, by E.L. James, Ana and Christian are two strangers, with different viewpoints on love.
Their relationship shows that true love comes in different ways. Ana s innocence and Christian s
impeccable voluptuous suit forces a bond, and intercedes them both to a vanilla terrene.
Born in 1963 in to Buckinghamshire, South East London, England author E.L James was delivered as
Erika Mitchell. After majoring in history at the University of Kent, James branched into a career of
television where she later rose to an executive. Sooner in the year of 1987, a co worker, Nial Leonard,
known to others as the screenwriter and director, fell in love with the fellow author and asked for her
hand in marriage. (E.L James web)
The acclaimed writer did not start her journey of calligraphy after finding inspiration in writing fan
factions of Stephanie Meyer s Twilight where she started her love of pencraft in the year of 2009.
Employing by Meyer s characters Bella Swan and Edward Cullen under Snowqueen Icedragon , an
international name, she wrote her own narrative of the 2008 motion picture. Titled Masters of the
Universe, Leonard s version went viral. Submission, bondage, and imagery of sadomasochism were

Negative Impacts and Harm of Drinking Alcohol Essay
As we all know, alcohol is a product that has provided a variety of functions for people in the world.
Alcoholic beverages have been consumed by humans in the very early time, they were one of the most
popular drink and have been widely used in everywhere of the world. Also they were used
medicinally, chemically, physically and so on. The alcohol plays an important role in enhancing the
enjoyment and quality of life, for instance, they could create the human relations easily, can facilitate
relaxation, can benefit your health if drink in moderation, and increase the pleasure of eating.
However, even though the alcohol had benefit people in many ways, but did you know the negative

Also for many people, alcohol provides a wonderful function, people drink alcohol to temporarily
relieve stress.(Lin, 2013). Alcohol related crashes kills someone in the U.S. every 22 minutes. At any
minute, one of 50 drivers on the road is drunk and every weekend night, one out of 10 is drunk.(Kypri,
1994). This quote means In United State, every 22 minutes there was a person killed by car accident
involving alcohol. One of 50 drivers on the road was drunk at any minute; one of 10 is drunk in
weekend night. The quote shows the number of traffic fatalities annually related to alcohol, do you
realized what does those numbers truly represented? Those are the examples of drunk drive that got
people killed in the life. Underage drinking is a leading contributor to death from injuries, which are
the main cause of death for people under age 21. Annually, about 5,000 people under age 21 die from
alcohol related injuries involving underage drinking.( Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,
2013). This quote means underage drinking alcohol is the major cause of death and injuries for
teenager who is under age 21. There were about 5,000 people under age 21 died in the accident that
associated with alcohol every year. In the quote, it shows the disadvantage of underage drinking,

Compare And Contrast Qin Dynasty And Han Dynasty
China, up until the Qin Dynasty, consisted of independent states controlled by kings fighting each
other for land and power. This time period was called The Era of Warring States, and it lasted two
hundred years. After this time, the Qin Dynasty rose to power. The Qin conquered all other
independent states, and established a centralized government, unifying China for the first time. The
Han Dynasty succeed the Qin and continued to rule with a centralized government and while initiating
a westward expansion that would encourage trade and cultural diffusion. The Qin and Han Dynasties
were similar in that they both believed in a strong centralized government, which strengthened and

The Qin preferred to keep foreigners out and focus on improving their empire internally while the Han
wanted to build a relationships with foreigners. The Qin Dynasty had a deep distrust of outsiders and
fear of invasion by the Xiongu, China s nomadic neighbors to the North. Qin Shi Huang wanted to
prevent the Xiongu from invading, so he decided to build a massive wall along the Qin s northern
territories. This wall is known as The Great Wall of China. Qin Shi Huang preferred to focus on
connecting his empire instead of building relationships with outsiders. In his rule, he commissioned
many beneficial building projects such as vast road systems, and complex irrigation projects. The feud
the Qin had against the Xiongu continued into the Han dynasty. Early Han leaders preferred to gift the
Xiongu with extravagant gifts to persuade them from taking Han land. However, in 140BC, Emperor
Wu became emperor of China. He would completely revolutionize China s foreign relations and trade
economy. Wu set up colonies to force the Xiongu out of their land and started alliances with local
leaders. Eventually, the Han allied themselves with the Southern Federation of the Xiongu, which
would prove useful in fighting against the Xiongu. One alliance with the Dong people in Southern
China lasted though the Han, Tang, and Song Dynasties. These alliances, which included gift giving,

Rikkki Tikki Gi Movie And Movie Analysis
Curiosity is the best word to describe a mongoose, this is because mongooses like to explore the world
around them and mongoose are so curious that they rarely get frightened, as also explained in the
Rikki Tikki Tavi story. People around the world might know that every mongoose has to fight a snake
once in a lifetime since mongoose like to eat snakes. Although some mongooses like to eat insects,
lizards, birds, and rodents. While others like the Indian mongoose like to eat snakes especially cobras.
Mongoose is the name for 29 out of 34 species located in southern Eurasia and Africa. Rikki Tikki

The story only gives brief descriptions, but the movie adds or gives more detail to the setting. The
story states that, One day, a high summer flood washed him out of the burrow... (Kipling 143). While
the movie represented the high summer flood as a thunderstorm, in a jungle( movie 00:21). If it was a
high summer flood, then why would the movie include thunder noise or the noises of scarred
animals(movie 00:29). This three evidence points out the difference of how a movie represents the
wording of the story. In conclusion the setting of the story changes a little because the movie specifies
the setting. Thirdly, the resolution of the story and the movie doesn t change, because both are part of
the same story, if the resolution were to change, the story wouldn t make sense. Both medium
resolutions are about what Rikki Tikki did to defeat Nagaina, like killing her eggs. As the text shows,
Nagaina saw that she had lost her chance of killing Teddy, and the egg lay between Rikki Tikki s paws
( Kipling 154). Another piece of evidence is shown in the movie, where Rikki Tikki smashes the eggs,
but keeps the last egg and shows the egg to Nagaina( movie 19:07). The resolution also has to do with
how Nagaina died or how the text states never came back. As told by the story his little white teeth
were clenched on her tail and he went down with her and very few mongooses, however wise and old
they may be, care to follow a cobra into its hole ( Kipling 155). As

Cybercrime Challenges Of Public Universities
2.3 Cybercrime Challenges in public universities
2.3.1 High Level network threats.
Viruses: University students are heavy users of social media like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. It is
impossible to totally block access to this social media on a university campus which can be used to
spread a host of malware that can spread like wildfire through social media sites like the hilarious
video attack on Facebook earlier this year. Quickly identifying which devices are infected is essential
to maintaining network security and protecting crucial data.
Phishing and Infrastructure Attacks: Public universities provide online services which provide vast
information for social engineers to use as credentials. Infrastructure attacks, are also common as
Universities are pretty valuable for computing power, and for bandwidth to store traffic or use for
DDoS attacks attackers aren t just after the intellectual property, but are attempting to gain control of
infrastructure they can leverage.
BYOD (Bring Your Own Device): Students and lecturers are now coming to work with their own
devices on campuses across the country. From iPads to new Android phones, new intelligent devices
are launched daily with upgraded versions of operating systems that are ripe for infection and ready to
infect the institutions network. This creates many security issues for campus security practitioners,
who must secure an ever increasing number of devices.

Magnetic Resonance Electromagnetic Analysis
As in conventional radiography, MRI consists of a machine, a control room and a technologist to
produce the image. The technologist will sit in the control room at a computer to achieve the images
and adjust them to achieve the best quality possible (Frank, Long, Smith Rolling, 2012). The machine
room will consist of the actual magnetic resonance machine in which the patient will lie for the
remainder of the study. The main device of the magnetic resonance system consists of large
electromagnets that completely surrounds the patient within a long tube or bore (Gosman Rose, 2015).
Gosman and Rose discuss that the magnets within the MRI machines produce a magnetic strength
anywhere from (.2 to 7 tesla; Smith, 2012) on average; in order ... Show more content on

The ability of a rotating magnet to create diagnostic images of soft tissue structures within the body
nearly sounds farfetched. Gosman and Rose state that magnetic resonance images are made possible
due to the magnetic properties of certain protons in fluids and soft tissues within the anatomical
structures being imaged (e.g. hydrogen). In a nutshell, an MRI machine captures images by using a
magnet which circles the patient s body to excite the hydrogen atoms throughout the body; after
returning from that excitation, the atoms let off energy that is then received by the MRI machine to
create a diagnostic image (Ulrich, 2009). Magnetic resonance imaging must have three essential
components to create a diagnostic image. These components include super conducting magnets, the
resonance of hydrogen atoms, and radio frequencies (Gosman Rose, 2015). When these hydrogen
protons are placed under a rotating magnetic field they all begin to ling up, but end up at an angle and
rotate in the same direction of the magnetic field; this rotation and angle of the protons is termed
precession (Frank et al., 2012). Frank et al. (2012) explains that these precessing protons can absorb
energy if they are exposed to radiofrequency (RF) pulses if the radio waves and the precession of the
atom are on the same frequency. This absorption of energy by the precessing protons is referred

A Community Of Organisms With Their Environment
An ecosystem is a system formed by the interaction of a community of organisms with their
environment. Ecology is a branch of biology having to deal with the relations and interactions
between organisms, their environment, and other organisms. A community in an ecosystem is an
assemblage of interacting populations occupying a given area. A habitat is an area or environment
where an organism or an ecological community lives. There is a large diversity in an ecosystem, for
example, the species, environment, and the plant diversity in the ecosystem. It s difficult to model
ecosystems because the model needs to be accurate and as well as precise.
In an ecosystem, organisms have many ways to get energy. One way is a producer, who makes their
own food. Only plants have this ability. Another way is being a consumer, who eats other organisms
for food and energy. An example of a consumer would be animals and humans. Lastly, another way
organisms can get food is being a decomposer, one who eats dead plants or animals. Decomposers are
mostly bacteria, fungus, or invertebrates. A food web is a series or organisms related by predator prey
and consumer resource interactions. It is entirety of irrelated food chains in an ecological community.
There is also a trophic level. A trophic level is any class of organisms that occupy the same position in
a food chain such a primary consumers, secondary consumers, and tertiary consumers. An autotroph is
an organism that is capable of making

Japan s Economic History in the Last Forty Years Essay
In the 1970s Japan had one of the world s most admired economies. Economists believed it would
achieve the highest living standards and continue to develop the best technologies. At that time, Japan
boosted he world s second largest gross national product and eventually reached number one by the
late 1980s However, everything changed in the early 1990s, and Japan entered what has been
described as its first lost decade (Kuepper, n.d.). Economists and historians have studied the causes for
Japan s stagnation over the past twenty years, but there are significantly different opinions regarding
the issue. Most agree that the huge asset bubble was the cause for the initial stagnation, but they
disagree as to the reasons for why this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This led to poor supervision and allowed bad debts to continue in the financial system (Posen, 1998).
The lack of effective leadership led to serious policy mismanagements and aggravated the problem. In
1997, the government issued a 2% consumption tax increase and the government also contracted
spending on government projects. People became even more insecure and started saving more outside
the private banking system (Posen, 1998). In this case, a government policy made the crisis even
worse.
Another example of policy mismanagement is he dependence on interest rate cuts from 1985 to 1987.
The government did this to try to counter the deflationary impact of the yen appreciation relative to
the dollar after the Plaza Accord The yen appreciation has become an enduring problem because it has
restricted the success of certain policy gears that could have solved the economic problems (Okimoto,
2004).
The second reason to account for the continuing stagnation is the lack of enough investments due to
Japan s age. As industrialized countries age, it becomes more difficult for them to create enough
investment to boost their economy. Private and government fixed investment have experienced a
growth slower than the GDP from 1991 2003, which registered 0.24% and 0.59% respectively, at the
start and finish of this period. Taking a closer look at private investment, private housing experienced
a sharp 2.48% decline. Government and private

The reading provides three theories for the purpose of the carved stone balls found at a multiplicity of
locations in Scotland; however, the lecturer believes the passage s interpretation is open to dispute.
She tries to refute the author s opinion by using some cogent reasons. First, the first theory argues that
the carved stone balls used as weapons in hunting and fighting. On the other hand, the lecturer cast
doubt on this theory by stating that the weapons used in the Neolithic period showed signs of wear;
they are often found cracked and broken, but the carved stone balls are well preserved. Furthermore,
the second theory holds the view that since the carved stone balls have the same radious, they may

Christian Psychology Case Study
Case Study #3 Christian Psychology Approach
One of the most influential determinants postulated for successful outcomes in counseling is a strong
therapeutic alliance and is the primary focus in the beginning of therapy (Langberg, 2012, p. 112)
when using the Christian psychology approach. This means that the counselor must actively listen to
the client, be with them, and join them with their internal pain and suffering. The counselor must learn
what life means to them and all the associated nuances that comprise the client s identity. This is
especially true with Rick because the reason for initially seeking counseling can be viewed as self
serving due to an ultimatum issued by his boss. However, as the counseling process progresses ...

Things Done Well During The Presentation
Things done well
During the presentation there were examples provided from the textbook to allow the trainees to
capture what was being presented and said. This allowed for them to see what was being taught. It was
also helpful that there were examples provided during the presentation to allow for a real life
experiences in the workforce, making everything more relatable to each individual in its own unique
way. There were also instances where trainees were asked questions and to engage them throughout
the process of training. This would allow them to constantly think, especially when there were pop
quizzes throughout. Trainees were also able to ask questions during the entire presentation, allowing
for people to have their answers answered at any point. In order for this to succeed we had to prepare
beforehand so that the questions would be answered as effectively and as clearly as they could.
Having handouts that had the slides with room to write notes on the side allowed the audience to make
notes and to write ideas. We also provide quizzes that were interactive throughout the presentation on
the slides. This allowed us to ask the question, and afterwards there were animations that showed the
audience which answer was the right one. It was a little bit of a learning curve, but it was done clearly
and effectively after some research had been performed. By implanting new ideas into presentations, it
not only allows the presenters to learn something new, but it also

In today s American society, many individuals have developed unhealthy eating habits. A study done
in 2012 states fifty two percent of polled Americans thought that doing their taxes was easier than
trying to figure out how to eat healthy. There are many things that people look at as hassles to healthy
eating rather than looking at the big benefits healthy eating has on someone. Many people think of
these issues when they think of healthy eating the cost, the availability of the food, that it is hard , they

Nate Miyaki gives an example, Of nine training sessions and thirty five meals or snacks geared toward
body composition improvement a week, that works out to about 20% accounted to physical activity
and 80% accounted to diet. Participating in regular exercise is very important but does not mean
someone should eat unhealthy. Eating unhealthy causes damage to an individuals insides. When
someone eats healthy they find themselves less tired and they also find that they have less health
issues than someone that eats unhealthy. When an individual eats better they feel better. Put good in,
get good out. So the better an individual eats the better, the more energy they have, the more
motivation they have, and they feel better as a whole. Within a week of eating healthy an individual
can begin to feel better on the inside. When an individual makes the change to eating healthily they
will notice that they feel better and have more energy. There are more ways to eat healthier without
having to diet at all.
A great food guide for an athlete to follow is the Canada s Food Guide. According to the guide an

Competition Review the advertising of your major competitors. Document where their ads are placed,
as well as their messages and their major selling points. Use that information in developing your own
advertising strategies. This technique saves you work, because your competition has done it for you.
For example, sites like Groupon, Living Social and AngiesList provide their members with substantial
discounts on daily deals. They advertise through ad words and graphic banners on websites and
television. They all have affiliate programs, as well. If you were starting a daily discount program,
those methods have proved effective for these companies, so they should do well for you. Customers
Keep your customers in mind when developing ads and deciding where they ll be placed. Stress the

cavemen and a man asking rhetorical questions but the message of getting fast, inexpensive car

Triumph Of Bacchus
Art History Analysis The Triumph of Bacchus, is a beautifully, well thought out oil based painting
created in 1635. An artist named Nicolas Poussin put his mind to work, and in the essay I am going to
show that. Firstly, starting with just a general description of the painting, and some background from
the artist himself. Secondly, go into the formal elements of the painting, how it came to life, what s
happening in the picture, and how everything was applied with all reasoning. Then lastly, conclude
with everything covered, and how the painting was created. In this painting, Bacchus the God of wine,
is leading his entourage of mythological creatures in a triumphal homecoming from victories in India.

Michael Brown Thesis
The history of the human race can be summed up as self destructive. Centuries of countless war,
uprisings, and oppression has marked history as a repeating cycle of hate and violence. The population
today is divided amongst issues and the government is torn between what decide. The people want
change from their government about critical issues, but change is not always guaranteed to be given.
With change comes opposition and opposition only gives rise to violence.
The day is Aug. 9 and 18 yr. old Michael Brown has just been shot. Due to the tension dividing the
country Brown s death was immediately looked at as a racial issue. The country saw it as an unarmed

The people of Ferguson were outraged at the racial injustice which transpired in their city. Too many
young black men had had their lives taken too soon by the police. Michael Brown s death was another
added to the list surely not the last and the people knew this. Change was needed and that burning
need for it is what started the riots. The citizens of Ferguson were fed up with how the people of the
country were treated by law enforcement and decided to make a stand. Ferguson would be thrown in
the spotlight for what s wrong with America . The police and the people of the country had a broken
bond. Those entrusted to protect the people were no longer trusted. The riots in Ferguson were not
called for because they only led to the destruction of the city and the arrest of protesters. They
accomplished nothing and took away from the reason of the riots, Michael Brown s unjust death.
Protesters that stood peacefully and chanted Black Lives Matter had a greater effect as they stood

Violence is not always the answer to the world s problems, but it is a great way bring attention to the
cause of the problem. Peaceful negotiations is the only way to ensure that the aggressors and
opposition both come to an agreement about the best outcome of their situation. Violence creates hate

This method is a change in how emergency medical care is provided. In this technique is a design to
get the patients with high severe health problem seen faster by the physician and trying to make the
care of less injured patients easy, as well. The most important factor of this method is to triage early
and priorities the severity of patient disease and to find out what specific care does the patient need.
In this case, patients are seen by the triage nurse immediately after their arrival to the emergency
Department. The nurse consider the level of severity of the patient and depends on their problem

Using this system, low acuity patients receive a quick triage and treated by the physician next to the
triage area. There is no need for changing the number of nurses or physicians in the ED.
In this method we assigned a waiting area just next to the registration area, for those patients with less
severe health problems (level 4 or 5), with a physician room including a bed and all the necessary
equipment they need for treatments. There is also a nurse helping the physician to increase
productivity through improved communication and teamwork. In this method when the triage nurse
prioritize the patient as a less injured and ill, they send the patient to the RTS area right after the triage
where they are receiving tests and treatments in minutes, not hours.

Analysis Of The Article Missed Nursing Care
B: Qualitative article critique
B1
Background or introduction
The article is titled missed nursing care. In the introduction, the author tries to tell the readers about
the adverse effects of omission in health care. The study does not have research about the reasons why
the nursing staff has omitted care (Polit, Beck, 2008). The problem statement is clearly and directly
stated. The methods used in collecting information have been mentioned in a separate section where
they are stated clearly. Lack of the current literature on the subject and the challenges facing health
care sector in providing nursing care is an opportunity for anyone to conduct such study. The method
that was used in interviewing the target group is consistent with the naturalistic paradigm of
qualitative research. The traditional research used in the study has not been mentioned in the
introduction. Due to lack of information, one cannot make an assumption about the research problem.
The reader can quickly identify the key concepts of the study in the introduction section. The
researcher did not indicate specific examples about poor patients care despite indicating that staffing is
related to the missed nursing care.
Review of the literature
Reference to the review of the literature has been stated in the introduction. According to the author,
the previous studies have shown that poor staffing can cause adverse effects on the patient. According
to Polit and Beck 2008, the main topics in the literature

The Great Pyramid of Giza was one of the seven wonders of the world because of its size, its
background, and the amount of time it took to build. The Great Pyramid of Giza is a very important
artifact to us today and in the Ancient world. The size of the Great Pyramid of Giza helped make it
one of one of the seven wonders of the world. The Pyramid itself is 481 feet tall and the workers
actually had to make ramps to get the two and a half to fifteen ton blocks into the higher level of the
Pyramid (National Geographic). The Pyramid had 2.3 million blocks that made up the Pyramid

largest Pyramid ever built still to this day (Bower). The Pyramid had three burial chambers for the
Pharaoh and his family. The chambers had to have six roofs to hold the heavy amount of weight of the

A film Glory Road , based on a true story features a coach, Don Haskins, who is a basketball coach for

standards of leading African Americans players to play basketball in college. At the beginning of the
movie, Don Haskin struggles to build a good basketball team because no players want to play at a no
name school. He doesn t care about skin color like the society does, but instead, he wants to recruit
good players and he looked around for African American basketball players because he wants to win

you re playing a lot of color boys, are you concern whether the Negro players can handle the pressure
at the national level? The reporter is implying how a team with mostly only African American players
can t win the championship. In addition, he asked if they are smart enough to handle the mental strain
they ll face in the tournament. Haskin looks displease when the reporter asked him this question. He
answered this question, saying his team is just the same as any other team in the league. By asking the
question if the African American can handle at the national level, demonstrates they are not smart
enough to handle the mental strains. The African American athletes were only shown for their
physique because they were only capable of playing great basketball. Coach Haskin didn t care if they
were smart, he was determined to win the championship and wanted raw talents. The African
American were tools to win the championship. The interviewer may see them as physically fit, but not

Essay On Ahupua
The Ancient Ahupua a System: Before and After The Ancient Hawaiian life was based around the
ahupua a land management system which is used to maintain human life and protecting the upland
resources that extends to the coral reef. Overtime, much of this has changed due to major development
and modern technology that were introduced to the Hawaiian Island after the arrival of Captain Cook.
The Hawaiians lost their connection to the land by no longer perpetuating the Hawaiian values and the
idea of being independent. Furthermore, everyone who lives in Hawai i lives in an ahupua a. Many of
the ahupua a original names are being used today, but not many people knows its history about the
land they are resided in. In Ancient Hawai i, the islands were ruled by chiefs who had the
responsibility of the well being of his people and for managing the island s resources. The islands
were divided into different sections known as the ahupua a. There are four sections that makes up an
ahupua a the first is the mokupuni (island) which is divided into several moku (district) then divided
into ahupua a (land section) and lastly, divided into an ili (smaller land section). In the ahupua a there

how a prince should act in certain situations. The style that Machiavelli uses to explain himself it is

Analysis of Peter Skrynecki´s Migrant Hostel and 10 Mary...
Through an individual s intrinsic desire to develop meaningful connections with society, place or
heritage, they forge their own sense of self identity by overcoming the barriers in place. In Peter
Skrzynecki s poetry, particularly Migrant Hostel and 10 Mary Street we witness an individual s
experience of segregation to eventual connection in the world they live.
Skrzynecki s insightful poem Migrant Hostel explores the notion of impermanence and uncertainty in
an individual s experience where stability is essential to develop an identity and sense of belonging.
The poem illustrates the disorientating nature of a migrant hostel where the people within yearn for
sanctuary in the Australian community. This idea is instantly reflected through the negative
connotations in no one kept count representing a sense of anonymity in the atmosphere through a lack
of individual significance. The enjambment and juxtaposition of the comings and goings highlights
the transient and uncertain nature of the hostel environment where they were left wondering who
would be coming next . The intrinsic desire of human nature to develop meaningful bonds with people
that share similar adversities is displayed through simile and symbol of a homing pigeon circling to
get its bearings . Furthermore, the alliteration in memories of hunger and hate convey their previous
experiences hindering their search for harmony and permission into the broader community. This
notion is further

Adult Attachment Styles The attachment style that an individual exhibits as an infant can affect their
adult romantic relationships. An attachment pattern is established in early childhood attachments and
continues to function as a working model for relationships in adulthood. This model of attachment
influences how each of us reacts to our needs and how we go about getting them met. The ability to
recognize one s attachment can help someone to understand their strengths and vulnerabilities in a

As an adult people with dismissive avoidant attachment have the tendency to emotionally distance
themselves from their partner. They deny the importance of loved ones and detach easily from them.
They can shut down emotionally and are able to turn off their feelings. Preoccupied / Ambivalent
Attachment occurs because parents are inconsistently available to the child. This can result in a high
degree of attachment seeking behavior, mixed with angry feelings. As an adult, people tend to become
clingy and demanding toward their partner. Instead of feeling real love or trust toward their partner
they look to their partner for a sense of safety and security by clinging to their partner. They often feel
unsure of their partner s feelings and unsafe in their relationship. Unresolved / Disorganized

Essay on Life and Work of Dorothea Dix
The care of mentally ill patients majorly progressed since the 1800 s and much of this advancement
must be credited to Dorothea Dix. During part of the 19th century many perceived the mentally ill as
lost souls . People viewed these patients as incurable and helpless. Mental patients were mistreated,
taken advantage of, beaten, thrown into unclean quarters, and abused. Dorothea Dix, a pioneer of her
time, advocated for the mentally ill. She changed the way these people were viewed and most
importantly the way they were treated. Dix rebelled against inadequacies and campaigned, alone, for
the rights of the mentally ill. The public, as well as the government, treated the mentally ill as
criminals and sent them to live in unfit ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As Dix continued to teach, she became ill and contracted tuberculosis (Viney, 2008). Doctors
encouraged Dix to withdraw from teaching during her illness and Dix complied.
After volunteering to teach a Sunday school class for women at a local jail in 1841, Dix s mission in
life changed and she set forth to make a difference in this type environment. Dix was shocked to have
observed [that] prostitutes, drunks, criminals, retarded individuals, and the mentally ill were all housed
together in unheated, unfurnished, and foul smelling quarters. When asked why the jail was in these
conditions her answer was, the insane do not feel heat or cold (Bumb, 2008). Dix found the mentally
ill in overcrowded areas, chained in poorly ventilated cellars (Viney, 2008). Throughout the 1840 s
and beyond, Dix was consumed with creating and putting into action plans to guarantee safe facilities
for the mentally ill community. Though not at optimal health, Dix travelled to every state along the
east coast creating and employing 32 mental hospitals, 15 schools for the feeble minded, a school for
the blind, and numerous training facilities for nurses (Bumb, 2008). Although Dix s beliefs were
radical for her time, she did not relent. Dix proposed a plan that a land grant of 12,500,000 acres be
reserved and used for the benefit of the blind, deaf, mute and insane. The president at the time,
Franklin Pierce, vetoed the bill however (Viney, 2008).

The Problems Of Unintended Pregnancies
PROBLEMS OF UNINTENDED PREGNANCIES
The United States citizens (especially women) have one of the least access to healthcare and worst
health outcomes among developed countries in the world despite the US spending about two and a
half times higher on health care per person than any other developed country in the world (Flynn,
2013). The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA, 2013) and the Organization for Economic Co operation
and Development (OECD, 2016) report similar data. This is reflected in the country s
disproportionately high unintended pregnancy rate (about half of all pregnancies are unintended), high
teenage pregnancy and high maternal mortality rates (Fig 1, Table 1). Adverse maternal and child
health outcomes such as delayed pre natal care, premature birth, negative physical and mental health
effects for children are some of the implications for unintended pregnancies (Guttmacher, 2016). Poor
access to contraceptives translates directly to high unintended pregnancy rate which in turn leads to
poor health outcomes for women and children. United States has the highest infant mortality rate
among all first world countries. Teen pregnancies in turn contribute immensely to this high infant
mortality as a

Assertive Discipline Scenarios
Assertive Discipline Approach Scenario #1 The advantages of the approach are that Clinton is aware
of what the expectations are from the teacher. At the start of the year the Ms Adams clearly
communicated her wants and needs to the class. She displayed these rules in the classroom so that all
the children can see that what is expected from them. Ms Adams gave Clinton three chances, so that
he could create a learning environment which is acceptable for children to learn. Once Clinton had
received three chances Ms Adams had the right to bring in other people to support her and the child to
create an environment which allows children to learn and develop. The disadvantages of the approach
are that Ms Adams used discipline to assert her dominance over Clinton. I feel that by tracking the
children s behaviour on the white board, the children could see it as a challenge or game to get three
marks on the board to test the limits of Ms Adams. This system takes Clinton out of the classroom
until his parents and the principal. I feel that some children would love this punishment, so would not

Similarities Between Fahrenheit 451 And The Veldt
Fahrenheit 451 The Veldt Comparison
Fahrenheit 451 compares to The Veldt in many ways. Fahrenheit 451 is a society where books are
illegal and firemen burn houses instead of putting them out. Also the firemen own a eight legged
mechanical dog that tracks down people who break the law. The Veldt is about this family who relies
on a room called the nursery that does everything for them. The parents were trying to shut down the
nursery but, the kids did not want that. These books have many similar themes like dystopian societies
and future technology diminishing people s lives.
One similar theme between The Veldt and Fahrenheit 451 is that they both are a dystopian society. In
both these books the societies have crime everywhere. In The Veldt the kids murdered their own
parents through the nursery. The kids tricked their parents into the nursery where they were
surrounded by hungry lions and the kids locked their parents inside to get eaten (Bradbury 10).

does being normal truly look like? Furthermore, how is it defined in certain places? What is
considered to be normal at home and school? To be considered normal does one have to have a family
that consists of a Mom and Dad and siblings and a dog. What about at school? Does being normal
mean one is a good student who has lots of friends who share the same interests. Then what happens
to those young people who do not share these similar life experiences? Are they then not considered

Dominic Hanecak Mr. Anderson Period 5 English 1 Honours 9 December 2014 Mercutio: To Blame or
Not to Blame There are many tragedies that happen in our lives today, anyone can look in the media,
on the web, or just look around a neighborhood to find them. In William Shakespeare s, Romeo and
Juliet tragedies happen as well. There are many deaths because of two family s feud. Many people are
responsible for the buildup to the tragedies in the play, however one person seems to be the most
responsible for these deaths, and this person is Mercutio because of his constant pressure and sense of
pride. One of the reasons Mercutio is most responsible for the tragedies in this play is that he is the
one who convinces Romeo to go to the party at the Capulets. This is what started the chain of events
that led up to the deaths of himself, Romeo, Juliet, Tybalt and Mrs. Montague. Mercutio tells Romeo
that he is a lover. Borrow Cupids wings and soar with them above a common bound ... Show more

When Tybalt comes to the square, Mercutio tells Tybalt to pluck your sword out of your pilcher
(3.1.77). Mercutio, out of pity for Romeo, challenges Tybalt to a duel because when Romeo doesn t
fight it taints his pride and his brand as a man. Mercutio is fighting Tybalt, but Romeo doesn t want his
future cousin in law to get hurt so he and benvolio step in to stop the fight. While Mercutio is fighting
Tybalt, Mercutio falls saying I was hurt under your arm (3.1.100 101). This makes Romeo furious, so
mad that he says he is acting on his emotions not on common sense. Out of grief and out of revenge
Romeo slays Tybalt, and when the Prince comes Romeo gets banished. As you can see Mercutio
sacrificing his own life for Romeos pride adds to the tension in between these two families and leads
to the deaths of Romeo, Juliet and

Costa Ric A Central American Country
Costa Rica is a Central American country located between Panama and Nicaragua. The west and east
coast of Costa Rica are facing the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. The main language spoken is Spanish,
although English is widely heard. This country is very popular among surfers because the most
powerful waves known to man are enjoyed in the town of Tamarindo. Costa Rica is the safest country
in the region because of its booming economy and general friendliness of the people. Also, majority of
the country covers jungles and rainforests. Many U.S. citizens travel here to experience the untouched
nature and study parts of it unique to man. The main city in Costa Rica is San Jose, located in the
center of the country. Many elderly people retire to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Additionally, there are people selling these medicines on the streets. Why not see what Costa Rica is
all about? Why not see what this country has to offer? This Central American country will leave
people in awe. Life Expectancy Life expectancy in Costa Rica is actually higher than any other
Central American country. The average life expectancy is 80 years for both men and women. A quality
culture, cheap healthcare, and a low crime rate contribute to this high rate. Some of the most
dangerous Central American countries are near Costa Rica, but they mostly don t affect the country.
Life expectancy and quality of life is actually increasing every year in Costa Rica. This rate is
exceptionally high compared to the rest of the world, including the U.S. It has one of the best
healthcare systems which is why a lot of Westerners retire to this tropical country. On the flip side,
there are some natural borne diseases that derive from the rainforests areas, but whatever ailment a
traveler has there is a herb found in the jungles that can most likely cure it. Sometimes mosquito borne
diseases such Malaria is imminent in the swamp areas. On the bright side, there are no vaccinations
required to enter Costa Rica so that implies the country is generally safe. Main Health Issues Ash

person has to live really close to a volcano for this to occur. Mild Dengue Fever To avoid

  • 2. Melania Trump Case Study During the one on one interview of Melania Trump that was hosted by Anderson Cooper; which aired on CNN Anderson Cooper 360 October 17, 2016, was thought provoking. One reason being her husband, Donald Trump has been openly critical of CNN s coverage, referring to it as Clinton News Network . Many viewers were surprised that Melania decided to give CNN this interview so quickly after her husband recorded tapes of him sexualizing women were leaked. The host and interviewer Anderson Cooper is a television host, author and journalist. He is best known for being the primary anchor of the CNN news show Anderson Cooper 360°. Melania Trump is a Slovene American former model, and wife of Donald Trump. The interview itself came off as somewhat uncomfortable and slightly hard to understand Melania at times. What I initially noticed was that they were both sitting a good length away from each other. Each of them sitting with shoulders pushed back and sitting straight while giving one another direct eye contact. Melania has a thick accent, which can sometimes cause miscommunication with the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... She continuously blamed the media for trying to portray her husband as something he wasn t. She finally admits what her husband says on tape is inappropriate and wasn t acceptable. During this portion of the interview both are still in a professional manner, but I did notice how Cooper would occasionally unfold his legs and use his hands when he started to ask another question. He did, however, keep them above his knee, but below his collarbone, any higher he may have unintentionally come off as agitated. This type of body language let me know he was either trying to get more comfortable or he was adjusting himself into a different position because he was about to start a different line of ... • 3. Cost Of Art Education Pablo Picasso once said Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up. Think about this, when a child is young they are given crayons and paper to occupy their time; mothers sing to their babies or play them classical music. From a young age we are taught to create, and we really are all artists. We create until creation is deemed nonessential, and the art projects we work into our everyday routine are demoted to electives. Funds for Education have been cut in over 80% of U.S. schools in the last 10 years, and the first programs to leave are often art education. Harvard President Drew Faust recently wrote. The same classes we as a nation are deeming unnecessary are mandatory in countries that rank consistently ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... School System needs to stop defunding art programs because art is important in our history. Without art, we would have less interpretation of our history. In any history class we study the artists of each time period and how they interpreted their times. Most of what artists do is tell stories, they help us make sense of the world. It can connect us to the past, present and the future. Throughout history our greatest minds have often merged discovery and art, the geniuses we learn about in history aren t only math matachins or scientists, but artists on top of that. Einstein stressed the importance of having a creative mind, once saying I m enough of an artist to draw freely from my imagination, which I think is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world. Without art we would have a much more narrow view of our past, and future generations will have a narrow view of our current events. Sure, you could say that we still have a history without art; but without photos, paintings, and sculptures would we really fully grasp our past? By cutting our generation off from art education we are cutting off future generations from learning too. Without artists to document our history, our great grandchildren will be without that connection to what s going on today. While art connects us to the past, and the world s history, it connects us to so much ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

There is no vegetation, lots of sedimentary rock, and shows evidence of erosion. In this project, our group evaluated every site to find the most fossils and narrowed it down to site E. To start it off, there is an absence of vegetation. This makes fossil finding easier because the paleontologists don t need to dig under trees, roots, and other assorted plants to get to fossils that may have been hidden under vegetation. This makes digging much harder as opposed to sedimentary rocks. • 5. Early Renaissance And The Renaissance Early Renaissance to High Renaissance The Renaissance is the period that immediately follows the Middle Ages in Europe ancient Rome and Greece. Growing prosperity and reduction in political stability accompanied by new technologies, the printing press, astronomy and the exploration and discovery of new continents was supplemented by a blossoming of philosophy, literature, and art. Painting style, decorative arts, and sculpture arose in Italy in the 14th century, reached its peak in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. These were the works of Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo and others. Renaissance expressed classical Greco Roman traditions and captured the experience of the individuals and the mystery and beauty of the natural world. The origin of the Renaissance The origins can be dated back in the late 13th and early 14th centuries. During this period (between 1280 and1400), the Italian scholars and artists perceived themselves as regeneration to the achievements and ideals of Roman culture. Some writers like Giovanni Boccaccio (1313 1375) and Petrarch (1304 1374) remembered ancient Greece and Rome and pursued to revive the languages, intellectual and value traditions of these cultures after the long period of inactivity that had proceeded the fall of the Roman Empire in the 6th century. The machine room will consist of the actual magnetic resonance machine in which the patient will lie for the remainder of the study. The main device of the magnetic resonance system consists of large electromagnets that completely surrounds the patient within a long tube or bore (Gosman Rose, 2015). Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The ability of a rotating magnet to create diagnostic images of soft tissue structures within the body nearly sounds farfetched. Gosman and Rose state that magnetic resonance images are made possible due to the magnetic properties of certain protons in fluids and soft tissues within the anatomical structures being imaged (e.g. hydrogen). In a nutshell, an MRI machine captures images by using a magnet which circles the patient s body to excite the hydrogen atoms throughout the body; after returning from that excitation, the atoms let off energy that is then received by the MRI machine to create a diagnostic image (Ulrich, 2009). Magnetic resonance imaging must have three essential components to create a diagnostic image. These components include super conducting magnets, the resonance of hydrogen atoms, and radio frequencies (Gosman Rose, 2015). When these hydrogen protons are placed under a rotating magnetic field they all begin to ling up, but end up at an angle and rotate in the same direction of the magnetic field; this rotation and angle of the protons is termed precession (Frank et al., 2012). Frank et al. (2012) explains that these precessing protons can absorb energy if they are exposed to radiofrequency (RF) pulses if the radio waves and the precession of the atom are on the same frequency. • 12. A Community Of Organisms With Their Environment An ecosystem is a system formed by the interaction of a community of organisms with their environment. Ecology is a branch of biology having to deal with the relations and interactions between organisms, their environment, and other organisms. A community in an ecosystem is an assemblage of interacting populations occupying a given area. A habitat is an area or environment where an organism or an ecological community lives. There is a large diversity in an ecosystem, for example, the species, environment, and the plant diversity in the ecosystem. It s difficult to model ecosystems because the model needs to be accurate and as well as precise. In an ecosystem, organisms have many ways to get energy. One way is a producer, who makes their own food. Only plants have this ability. Another way is being a consumer, who eats other organisms for food and energy. An example of a consumer would be animals and humans. Lastly, another way organisms can get food is being a decomposer, one who eats dead plants or animals. Decomposers are mostly bacteria, fungus, or invertebrates. A food web is a series or organisms related by predator prey and consumer resource interactions. It is entirety of irrelated food chains in an ecological community. There is also a trophic level. This led to poor supervision and allowed bad debts to continue in the financial system (Posen, 1998). The lack of effective leadership led to serious policy mismanagements and aggravated the problem. In 1997, the government issued a 2% consumption tax increase and the government also contracted spending on government projects. People became even more insecure and started saving more outside the private banking system (Posen, 1998). In this case, a government policy made the crisis even worse. Another example of policy mismanagement is he dependence on interest rate cuts from 1985 to 1987. The government did this to try to counter the deflationary impact of the yen appreciation relative to the dollar after the Plaza Accord The yen appreciation has become an enduring problem because it has restricted the success of certain policy gears that could have solved the economic problems (Okimoto, 2004). The second reason to account for the continuing stagnation is the lack of enough investments due to Japan s age. As industrialized countries age, it becomes more difficult for them to create enough investment to boost their economy. Private and government fixed investment have experienced a growth slower than the GDP from 1991 2003, which registered 0.24% and 0.59% respectively, at the start and finish of this period. Through an individual s intrinsic desire to develop meaningful connections with society, place or heritage, they forge their own sense of self identity by overcoming the barriers in place. In Peter Skrzynecki s poetry, particularly Migrant Hostel and 10 Mary Street we witness an individual s experience of segregation to eventual connection in the world they live. Skrzynecki s insightful poem Migrant Hostel explores the notion of impermanence and uncertainty in an individual s experience where stability is essential to develop an identity and sense of belonging. The poem illustrates the disorientating nature of a migrant hostel where the people within yearn for sanctuary in the Australian community. This idea is instantly reflected through the negative connotations in no one kept count representing a sense of anonymity in the atmosphere through a lack of individual significance. The enjambment and juxtaposition of the comings and goings highlights the transient and uncertain nature of the hostel environment where they were left wondering who would be coming next . The intrinsic desire of human nature to develop meaningful bonds with people that share similar adversities is displayed through simile and symbol of a homing pigeon circling to get its bearings . During part of the 19th century many perceived the mentally ill as lost souls . People viewed these patients as incurable and helpless. Mental patients were mistreated, taken advantage of, beaten, thrown into unclean quarters, and abused. Dorothea Dix, a pioneer of her time, advocated for the mentally ill. Dix was shocked to have observed [that] prostitutes, drunks, criminals, retarded individuals, and the mentally ill were all housed together in unheated, unfurnished, and foul smelling quarters. When asked why the jail was in these conditions her answer was, the insane do not feel heat or cold (Bumb, 2008). Dix found the mentally ill in overcrowded areas, chained in poorly ventilated cellars (Viney, 2008). Throughout the 1840 s and beyond, Dix was consumed with creating and putting into action plans to guarantee safe facilities for the mentally ill community. Though not at optimal health, Dix travelled to every state along the east coast creating and employing 32 mental hospitals, 15 schools for the feeble minded, a school for the blind, and numerous training facilities for nurses (Bumb, 2008). Dix proposed a plan that a land grant of 12,500,000 acres be reserved and used for the benefit of the blind, deaf, mute and insane. The Problems Of Unintended Pregnancies PROBLEMS OF UNINTENDED PREGNANCIES The United States citizens (especially women) have one of the least access to healthcare and worst health outcomes among developed countries in the world despite the US spending about two and a half times higher on health care per person than any other developed country in the world (Flynn, 2013). The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA, 2013) and the Organization for Economic Co operation and Development (OECD, 2016) report similar data. This is reflected in the country s disproportionately high unintended pregnancy rate (about half of all pregnancies are unintended), high teenage pregnancy and high maternal mortality rates (Fig 1, Table 1). Adverse maternal and child health outcomes such as delayed pre natal care, premature birth, negative physical and mental health effects for children are some of the implications for unintended pregnancies (Guttmacher, 2016). Poor access to contraceptives translates directly to high unintended pregnancy rate which in turn leads to poor health outcomes for women and children. United States has the highest infant mortality rate among all first world countries.
