Martha Rogers developed the Science of Unitary Human Beings, which views humans as open energy fields that continuously interact with the environmental energy field. A key assumption is that humans cannot be viewed as separate parts but must be considered as a unified whole. The theory defines major concepts like person, environment, health and nursing. A person is a unitary human being that exchanges matter and energy with the environment. Health represents a state of wellness rather than just the absence of disease. Nursing aims to promote interactions between people and their environment to strengthen integrity.

2. INTRODUTION
• Martha Elizabeth Rogers (May 12,
1914 – March 13, 1994) was an
American nurse, researcher, theorist,
and author. While professor of nursing
at New York University, Rogers
developed the "Science of Unitary
Human Beings", a body of ideas that
she described in her book An
Introduction to the Theoretical Basis of
Nursing.

• The energy field constitutes the
fundamental unit of both the living and
non-living. They are human and
