PRICE AND BUYING BEHAVIOUR
Abstract 
 During the survey, 20 questionnaires were distributed 
to purposively selected mobile phones shops, most 
qualified lecturers of our campus as well student of our 
Laar Campus; however some questionnaires were 
distributed among the common people of Badin town. 
So the analysis was made based on 20 responded 
questionnaires
 Introduction 
 The research has been conducted from 
Badin’s town people about relationship between price 
and buying behaviour. 
 PRICE 
The amount of money expected, required or given in 
payment for something. 
 BUYING BEHAVIOR 
The activities these consumers undertake when 
obtaining, consuming, and disposing of products and 
a service is known as consumer behavior

 The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship 
between price and buying behavior of Badin’s people. In 
order to accomplish the objectives of the study, a sample of 
24 consumers were taken by using simple random sampling 
technique. Both primary and secondary data were explored
2. Literature Review 
Consumers are individuals and households that buy the 
firms product for personal consumption (Kotler, 2004) 
 The activities these consumers undertake when 
obtaining, consuming, and disposing of products 
and a service is known as consumer behavior. 
Consumer behavior involves studying how people 
buy, what they buy, when they buy and why they 
buy. When a consumer wanted to make the 
purchase decision, they will pass through the 
process through recognition, search information, 
evaluation, purchase feedback( Blackwel Miniard 
and Engel,2006)
Consumer buying behavior is 
influenced by two major factors 
These factors are individual 
and environmental.
Individual factors 
 Individual factors affecting consumer behavior are 
demographics, consumer Knowledge, perception, 
learning, motivation, personality, beliefs, attitudes and 
life styles(Blackwell, Miniard, and Engel, 2006)
Environmental factors 
 Environmental factors represent those items outside of 
the individual that affect individual consumer’s 
decision making process. These factors include 
culture, social class, reference group, family and 
household(Blackwell, Miniard, and Engel, 2006)
DATA ANALYSIS 
Data were analyzed using % & highest 
% options are shown below 
 Q#1 You consider price as the most important factor in 
buying: 
 Very much’ having “73.33%” 
 Q#2 You consider quality more important than price: 
 “very much” having “70%” 
 Q#3 Before purchasing any goods ,you search price of those 
goods from internet: 
 “rearly”46%” 
 Q#4 You prefer fixed price over the non fixed price 
 “strongly disagree are “53.33%” 
 Q#5 If price of goods decreases ,which you don’t normally 
demand ,will you buy ? 
 Disagree or don’t like “33.33%”
Q#6 If the price of staple goods increases ,will it decrease your buying power? 
Never filled by “66.66%” 
Q#7 If the price of useless products decreases , will you buy it more: 
never told by “40% “and may be were filled by “33.33%” 
Q#8 If the price of drugs increases , that you are adicated or fond , then will you buy: 
Definitely were filled buy “80%” 
Q#9 Sellers good behaviour , will reduce concern for high price? 
definitely were filled “86%” 
Q#10 shop’s good standard will reduce concern for high price? 
Yes were filled by “80%”
CONCLUSION 
 After survey this conclusion was made “that most of 
the BADIN’S people prefer the price, quality, stable 
goods, drugs ,sellers good behaviour, as well as they 
also gives preference to the standard shop and some 
people before purchasing search price from the 
internet , how ever it was also we have been come to 
know that our town’s people don’t prefer the useless 
product . If price increases they will reduce buying.
SUGGESSION 
 After the evaluating whole research ,it is concluded 
that for a business man it is quite important that 
before starting any business ,he/she must have 
conducted survey because through this he will come 
to know the needs and wants of the customers , 
then he /she can easily will know the buying 
decision of the customers.
