Lesson plan N°3
 LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Be able to identify the time.
- Talk about likes and dislike.
- Practice the listening, speaking, reading and writing macro skills.
- Name the different types of food according to the time of the day.
- Recognize different lexical groups (vegetable, fruits and meat)
 WARM-UP:
- The teacher will begin the class greeting the students through a short rhyme.
- The teacher will give each student a badge with their name.
- The teacher will begin the lesson writing down the date and the name of the
unit on the board.
- The teacher will revise fruits and vegetables learnt in the previous class and she
will introduce new vocabulary by using flashcards. While repeating them aloud,
she will stick the flashcard on the board with the respective name. Then she
will ask some questions: ‘’What is this? /What are these?’’ and ‘’Do you like…?’’
- The teacher will check the homework.
- The teacher will bring to the class a clock to introduce the time. (o’clock)
- She will change the position of the clockwise and ask them ‘’What time is it?’’
(The teacher will introduce the numbers ‘’eleven and twelve’’)
FIRST ACTIVITY
TASK: Listen and read. (Page 36)
- Students will listen to the audio.
- The teacher will write on the board the words ‘’breakfast, lunch and dinner’’
and explain their meaning.
- The teacher will invite students to read the passage.

SECOND ACTIVITY
TASK: Write and sing. (Page 37)
- The teacher will write on the board the words ‘’vegetables, fruits and meat’’.
She will explain the meaning by using flashcards.
- The teacher will introduce the verb ‘’like’’ and will invite pupils to say what
food they like.
- Students will complete the exercise according to the pictures.
- Students will listen to the song and check their answers.

THIRD ACTIVITY
- The teacher will provide students photocopies to complete with the time and
