COURSE: 6th grade ‘C’ and ‘D’.
TEXTBOOK: Materials provided by the teachers.
DATE: Monday 28 th, August, 2017
TIMETABLE: Mondays and Thursdays from 15.45 Hrs. to 17.25 Hrs.
TOPIC: Present Continuous tense.
CLASS Nº 3
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
 Students will be able to write sentences describing images by using the Present
Continuous tense.
 Students will be able to understand and produce reading, speaking and writing
macro-skills.
ROUTINES:
 Greeting with the usual phrase “Yellow, red, green and blue, hello teacher, how are
you? I’m fine, and you? We are OK, thank you.” repeated by the students, teacher
and trainees.
 Writing down the date on the blackboard.
 Asking students about how they are on this day and if there is anybody absent.
Timing: 3 minutes.

WARM UP
The trainee will give each student a photocopy with a Word Search game in which
students will have to find 15 ‘-ing’ verbs. The activity will be done in pairs and then
corrected orally with the help of a big poster with the Word Search drawn on it.
• Type of interaction: Students in pairs.
• Macro-skills: Reading and speaking.
• Timing: 12 minutes.
• Materials: Photocopies, poster, whiteboard.
DEVELOPMENT
First activity: The trainee will give one netbook every four students and each of them will
have to write down in the blog of the subject, at least, two sentences describing each of the
images shown using the verbs given.
- Example: ‘Will is eating an ice-cream’.
• Type of interaction: Students individually.
• Macro-skills: Reading and writing.
• Timing: 20 minutes.
• Materials: Netbooks.
CLOSING UP
The trainee will ask the students to carefully turn the computers off and finally she
will say goodbye to them.

MENTOR TEACHER: Romina Cheme Arriaga. TRAINEES: Monge Ana Valentina and Morán Ana Belén. SCHOOL: Escuela Nº4 ‘Coronel Remigio Gil’. COURSE: 6th grade ‘C’ and ‘D’. TEXTBOOK: Materials provided by the teachers. DATE: Monday 28 th, August, 2017 TIMETABLE: Mondays and Thursdays from 15.45 Hrs. to 17.25 Hrs. TOPIC: Present Continuous tense. CLASS Nº 3 LEARNING OBJECTIVES:  Students will be able to write sentences describing images by using the Present Continuous tense.  Students will be able to understand and produce reading, speaking and writing macro-skills. ROUTINES:  Greeting with the usual phrase “Yellow, red, green and blue, hello teacher, how are you? I’m fine, and you? We are OK, thank you.” repeated by the students, teacher and trainees.  Writing down the date on the blackboard.  Asking students about how they are on this day and if there is anybody absent. Timing: 3 minutes.

PRACTICE II, Didactics of ELT and Practicum at Primary School level Monge Ana Valentina & Morán Ana Belén - 2017 2 WARM UP The trainee will give each student a photocopy with a Word Search game in which students will have to find 15 ‘-ing’ verbs. The activity will be done in pairs and then corrected orally with the help of a big poster with the Word Search drawn on it. • Type of interaction: Students in pairs. • Macro-skills: Reading and speaking. • Timing: 12 minutes. • Materials: Photocopies, poster, whiteboard. DEVELOPMENT First activity: The trainee will give one netbook every four students and each of them will have to write down in the blog of the subject, at least, two sentences describing each of the images shown using the verbs given. - Example: ‘Will is eating an ice-cream’. • Type of interaction: Students individually. • Macro-skills: Reading and writing. • Timing: 20 minutes. • Materials: Netbooks. CLOSING UP The trainee will ask the students to carefully turn the computers off and finally she will say goodbye to them.
