Filling is the task that is carried out by a machine and this process is widely used in many industries that produce such as milk industries, chemical, food, mineral water and many industrial manufactures. The objective of this paper is to design, develop and monitor "Bottle filling and capping with PLC". This work provides with a lot of benefits like low power consumption, low operational cost, less maintenance, accuracy and many more. A prototype has been developed to illustrate the system. In this paper, the filling of the bottle is controlled by using a controller known as Programmable Logic Controller PLC which is also the heart of the entire system. For the conveyor system, a DC motor has been selected for better performance and ease of operation. Proximity sensors have been used to detect the position of the bottle. Ladder logic has been used for the programming of the PLC, which is the most widely used and accepted language for the programming of the PLC. Abstract A conveyor control system project was implemented using software LabVIEW and interfacing electronics such that it mimics the operation of a conveyor used in a bottling plant with beginning, filling and ending stations. Conveyors are used for automated transportation of materials. For this project, the conveyor simulator is equipped with a dc motor mounted directly to an axle for driving the conveyor belt, a freely rotating axle for the opposite side of the conveyor belt. Three IR proximity sensors, positioned at the middle and both the ends, are used to detect the position of bottle on the conveyor. A load sensor is employed at the middle to measure the volume of fluid in the bottle. Suitable displays were incorporated in the software. Abstract A programmable Controller is designed and developed for time pedestal controlling of Air Sampling Machine. The major purpose of the designed system is to reduce filter damage of Air Sampling Machine. The main function of the controller is to automatically switching the Air Sampling Machine with predefined On-Off time interval for 24 hours operation. This is a low cost system which is designed using locally available components and user friendly. The controlling operation is maintained by ATMEL AT89C52 microcontroller. A programmable real time clock PCF8583 is used to produce timing control signal for automatic switching of the Air Sampling Machine. Control signals generated by real time clock operate opto-isolator and an electromechanical relay for switching the Air Sampling Machine. EEPROM (M24C64) is used to store necessary data. The instruction firmware for the designed controller has been developed in BASIC platform using BASCOM-8051 software. Abstract In the today situation, where parking of four wheeler vehicle is very severe problem in urban region. It is crucial time to avoid the wastage of space in urban areas, as the no of vehicles are increasing day by day. An automatic parking (multilevel) strategy should be developed where parking problems arise intensively, which involves space reduction. In this paper a novel approach for lift control is proposed in fully automatic Level Car Parking System which used to take cars in/out of system & park the cars. Entire system is controlled using a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). As speed control is required for multiple speed setting & proper stopping accuracy, the lift will be driven by the VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) for speed control. The pallet position on lift, accurate positioning between lift-level & safety interlocks are sensed from dedicated sensor. EPLAN software for used for electrical panel design purpose whileTWINCAT PLC control is used for auto/manual modes programming & simulated results. Controlling the Filling and Capping Operation of a Bottling Plant using PLC a...ijeei-iaes
This paper presents basic stages of operation of a bottling plant, i.e. the filling and capping process. The main aim of our paper is to control the filling and capping section of a bottling plant simultaneously. At first a set of empty bottle is run by using a conveyer towards filling section, after the operation, the filled bottles are sent towards the capping section. After successful capping operation, the sealed bottles terminate towards exit and a new set of empty bottle arrive, in this way the process continues. This paper includes the method using which, a bunch of bottles can be filled and capped at one instant of time. This method has made the operation more flexible and time saving. The filling and capping operations are controlled using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), as the PLC’s are very much user-efficient, cost-effective and easy to control. By using PLC automation the whole process is kept under control. SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) is used to monitor the process by means of a display system.

Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions.
