Product’s Purpose:
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
It’s an adventure game made for entertainment. People will achieve this by going through the
game and coming across different obstacles and enemies along the way. This will make it
entertaining because I will include most of the features in my ghost game and other potential ideas
to make it good and really entertaining.

My product is about a character that has to go through certain stages / levels to reach the end and
save his / her brother from somebody that kidnapped him. The storyline is similar to Mario however
I will make all the characters different and the stages and levels different with different colour
schemed backgrounds and enemies that are not seen before. My product will be a 2D designed
game like Mario, but I will make it different by making the game go different directions instead of
just left and right. I will make it go upwards and downwards to make it similar to sonic. Sonic was
another potential idea because both Mario and sonic have similar concepts so I thought to mix
them together, but change the characters and enemies included in the game.
Audience:

Why would your project appeal to this person?
My audience will be all ages above 10 and for both genders. However I would base my product for
males than females because I think males are more into these kinds of games than females. I
think my product will suite the ages of people over 10 because my game will include some
confusing features which will obviously confuse people at a young age and people that are older
can solve the problems and hopefully understand what to do. My product will be for majority of
social status groups because it’s a game that will be entertaining for all and will be known by
everybody. Although with the psychographics it will be a Belonger because in my opinion it sounds
like a normal person that wants to visit families and spent time with others and that could be a
chance to share my product with others so it gets a good bit of attention.

From my ghost game I will include a lot when it comes making my main product. I will include
enemy characters and heroic characters different to the potential ideas of Mario and Sonic. I will
have different colour-schemed levels and stages to make every level different and unique. These
ideas will be used within the game in parts such as stages and levels and the starting screens.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:

How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright

In my product there won’t be any offensive material and I will make sure of it because I don’t want
my game to cause problems with people playing it. Games like Mario and Sonic don’t have
anything offensive in them and won’t affect any social groups, religions and more. I will present my
game as a adventure game and to not include anything offensive. The levels and stages might
look similar to the Mario games because of it being 2D but I can’t o anything about that. I will try
and make my product different to others hopefully by changing some of the characters and levels
included.
