This document proposes a retro football animation game aimed at entertaining male children aged 5-15. The game would feature one-player gameplay where the player shoots goals against a goalkeeper on a bright green pitch. High key lighting would be used to improve visibility and create a friendly atmosphere. No offensive material, religious symbols, or depictions that could stereotype ethnic groups are planned. While some game elements may be similar to other football games, the overall design is intended to be unique enough to avoid copyright issues. Age restrictions would only be used if offensive content was later added. The target audience and art style are described to appeal to younger male players, while legal and ethical considerations are discussed to avoid issues surrounding inclusion, offense, and intellectual

Working Title:
Retro football animation game.
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose:
My products purpose is to entertain the audience and for them to have fun when they play
it.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre:
It is a retro style football animation game.
What sort of product is it
Content
My product is aimed at being a retro style football animation game, included in it will be one
player and the idea of a football net where you have to score goals against the keeper. It
will be themed around a football pitch, with the idea of there being a bright green football
pitch and behind the net or at the side the style of it being much more realistic and kind of
makes it seem like you are actually playing the game or if you were actually there.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience:
My audience is aimed at younger people at this isn’t really the type of game of which you
would expect to be played by mature adults, so because of this I have decided to aim my
game at male children aged 5-15, male because you wouldn’t really expect females to go
and play this game or unless they did, there isn’t an as wide audience as what you expect
for there to be with males and so I decided that it should be aimed towards males. My game
can really be aimed at people of all social status as there isn’t really anything that will
distinguish it into a certain social group. The only possible social group that might not want
to spend their time playing it is the higher upper class people, all though they might have a
look at the game and spend sometimes playing it, personally I don’t think that they would
want to, as my football game isn’t going to be seen as a top quality super high definition
game that the higher upper class people would jump at the chance to play.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc.
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Research and Planning:
From my research and planning I am going to use the idea of having more high key lighting
around the game so that you are able to play the game in better quality feeling and so that
you can also play the game more clearly. The high key lighting also gives it a bit more of a
better feeling towards it as well and makes it seem like a more friendly game to be able to
play with considerable ease.
What elements of your research and planning will you use in your final production?
Where will you use your research and planning in your final production?

Legal & Ethical Considerations:
I don’t believe that I have included any offensive material into my production work, as I
believe that it will have been impossible to do as it is based upon being in the football style
game. From the idea of it being a football game I don’t think that there is any material that
will be included in it that religious/ethnic groups may find offensive. If it does include some
material that people may find offensive I would be forced to restrict younger people from
being able to play it and to do this I would, place an age restriction thing where you would
have to identify your age before being able to play the game. However as my game does not
feature any offensive material I will not need to restrict younger people from being able to
play it. I will ensure that I do not offend any religious/ethnic groups by not including any
symbols from religions or any images that they could find offensive, also if I decide to
include people who are different coloured I will make sure that I don’t make them seem like
such a big outcast compared to the white people, so that they are all seemed to be treated
fairly and equally in the game. In my game I am not planning on using any brands/logos in
my game, the only real use of general company names/logos that I am planning to use In
the advertising on the side of the stand and possibly on the football and possibly on the
players football boots. I believe that my product will be sufficiently different form already
existing products as it is seen to be my own design there a few aspects of the game of
which could be seen as copyright but not as big of a deal, as the ideas that can be seen as
copyright are featured in nearly every style of football game, so they can’t just see it as
being an issue with my game and sue and then just not bother with the others because that
would just not be fair upon myself and my game.
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
