Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

3. HOW IT WORKS
The Black Gold Double Displacement pump is the only "Big Bore"
Sucker rod pump that can produce both on the upstroke and the
down stroke.
It works by pumping on the up stroke (like a regular conventional
rod pump). There is a middle barrel which is the area where there
will be extra fluid to displace. The fluid enters between the middle
barrel and upper barrel and fluid gets trapped in between that
area; all the other fluid is produced.
On the downstroke, all the fluid that was in between the middle
barrel is forced down and through the special slotted cage and up
through the middle part of your plunger. There is a slotted hole in
the lower barrel so the rods and plungers can fall and nor go into
compression.

5. HOW TO DETERMINE TOTAL
VOLUME:
• Use the pump bore size after you calculate the the displacement area
• Run rod design with new pump bore size
• See your new overall pump production
• Only use the data for overall production. Rod loading, tubing load, gear box load, are
not effected.

8. CASE STUDY
Conclusion Of Well Design:
By running the Black Gold Double Displacement Pump and using the rod string designed
by Black Gold, overall production increased from 744 to 975 barrels averaged per day.
Our design decreased rod compression, rod buckling, and did not increase rod loading
or overall loading on well (determined by Dynamometer cards). We did not need to
speed up, increase stroke length, or pump size, in order to produce the 900 plus barrels .
FOP dropped from 1,000' to 0' (pumped off).
Without having this design implemented into their system, customers such as Freeport-
McMoRan Oil & Gas would have never pumped the well off, and increased oil
production.
