This document presents a major assignment presentation on nitro shock absorbers by a mechanical engineering student. The 3-page presentation covers the introduction, principle, need for nitro shock absorbers, why gas filled shocks are used, components, working, advantages, tips for mounting, and conclusion. It discusses how nitro shock absorbers work using viscous damping to control spring movements and prevent oscillations. Gas filled shocks are designed to reduce foaming of the oil within by using a dividing piston to separate the oil and gas chambers. The advantages of nitro shock absorbers include instantaneous response, better fade resistance, durability and no need for re-adjustment.
