This document discusses factors that impact road safety, including roadway conditions, traffic, and manmade features. It summarizes various studies that have examined the relationship between these factors and road accidents. Some key findings of the studies include: accident rates decrease with more homogeneous traffic flows, driver performance is reduced by phone use, and accident risk increases with higher speeds. The objectives of the proposed work are to study accident rates in relation to traffic volume, road capacity, and road/shoulder maintenance and to develop an accident prediction model. Road safety can be improved by raising awareness, developing such a model, and considering roadway, traffic, and manmade factors.

The study is for newly constructing Four-Lane road between chainage 224.000 (Chagalamarri) to 359.9(Kurnool) to identify all safety deficiencies responsible for road accidents. The predictive ability using Multiple linear regression model is under two categories: First for the 2 lane sections and second for 4 lane sections separately. The validation tools were applied to examine the ability of models to predict accidents.

Influence of Vehicle Inspection Tests on Crashworthiness of School Bus in Nai...Dr. Amarjeet Singh
The vehicle structure, designs and materials on
school bus body crashworthiness as regulated by different
government agencies in bus body building firms was the topic
under research study. In Kenya, thousands of vehicles are
involved in vehicle collisions or crashes every year resulting in
fatal accidents and severe injuries to the passengers. The
specific objective was the influence of vehicle inspection
testson crashworthiness of school bus in Nairobi City County.
This study adopted Dym’s, Suh’s Axiomatic theory. The
pragmatic paradigm and explanatory research design were
used. The target population was 1500 respondents from bus
body building firms and government regulatory institutions.
The sample size was 315 respondents. Questionnaires,
interview schedules and observation were data collection
instruments. Expert judgment was used to establish validity of
the questionnaires. Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient was used to
determine the reliability of the research instrument. The data
collected was analyzed using descriptive and inferential
analysis with the aid of SPSS V22 software. The coefficient of
determination (R squared) of .206 showing that 20.6% of the
variation in crashworthiness of a bus can be explained by
vehicle inspection tests. There was a positive significant
influence of vehicle inspection tests on crashworthiness of a
bus (β=0.396 and p <0.05). The study concluded that the
vehicle inspection tests had a significant influence on the
crashworthiness of school bus. The management of school bus
body construction companies need to conduct all the terminal
test needed before releasing the vehicle in order to enhance
crashworthiness of a bus. The Transport authority should
examine and check the mandatory requirements and
periodically amend them in accordance with the safety,
engineering and ecological standardization.

Study On Traffic Conlict At Unsignalized Intersection In Malaysia IOSR Journals
The research conducted is traffic conflict at unsignalized intersections . The purpose of this research
is to study accident data used as an identification of hazardous location leads to less accurate countermeasures.
It is because accidents are not always reported especially accident involving damage only and this situation can
reduce good comparative analysis. To overcome these lacks of accident data, many ways of employing nonaccident
data have been suggested. One of the ways using non-accident data is traffic conflicts, which is defined
as critical incidents not necessarily involving collisions. The traffic conflict technique was originally set up to
provide more reliable data and information of traffic problems at intersections which actually would replace the
unclear and incomplete recorded data accident. The conflict study was done at the selected unsignalized
intersection where types of traffic conflict can be identified and classified. Various road users involved in the
conflict at the unsignalized intersection were also observed. Then conflicts data captured were analyzed using
the computer program to observe for any conflicts at the intersections. The linear regression graph was used to
show the relationship between conflict and accident data where two different equations were derived from the
graph. This equation may be used to make a prediction for the relationship that might exist between those two
variables at another location.

India accounts for 10% of those fatalities, and the majority of victims are pedestrians and cyclists. The new (draft) Road Transport and Safety Bill 2014, a huge step up from the previous Motor Vehicles Act 1988, was published for public comment by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Amit Bhatt, who has been actively involved in discussions around this Act, presented the details of the same, highlighting the salient features and what it would mean for India if this bill were to be passed. The webinar addressed key issues relating to the current situation of road transport and safety in India, and showcased a comparison of the existing Motor Vehicles Act and the proposed new one. Amit also discussed the key provisions of the new Bill, its possible impact, and the road ahead.

Abstract - Despite their promise, there have been discussions surrounding the technological risks of autonomous vehicles (AVs) and the extent to which AVs are ready for large-scale deployment. Using a case study approach, this article examines the development and implementation of AVs in Singapore. Our findings reveal that AV regulatory sandboxes, the formalisation of safety assessments and the release of technical guidelines are some of the most adaptive and innovative instruments that have been adopted to govern AVs in Singapore. Furthermore, Singapore's approach to AVs has applied an adaptive strategy that is both pre-emptive and responsive. The accelerated expansion of trials and regulatory provisions for AVs demonstrates Singapore's aspiration to be nimble, and showcases the simultaneous adoption of two contrasting implementation approaches – prescriptive and experimentalist – to guide AV adoption. The regulatory lessons derived from the governance of AVs in Singapore could provide useful policy guidance, and could inform policy discussions of AVs as well as other autonomous systems.

Nowadays, road crashes become a growing worldwide problem and result in around 1 million deaths now occurs in developing countries. Huge economic losses are now being incurred annually in the ASEAN countries as a direct result of road crashes and the most recent research suggests annual losses across the region are now in excess of US dollar 14 billion per year (around 2.1% of annual GDP of ASEAN region). In Myanmar, thousands of healthy lives are lost by road accidents comparing with other ASEAN countries. A research was conducted on a section of Pyay road with its high-accident locations to study and evaluate the cause of its frequent accidents. Initial study indicated that most of the accidents were attributed to human elements. This was included by the fact that a high percentage of accident was caused by the collision of moving vehicle and pedestrian. Identifying and removing hazardous spots to improve road safety will primarily requires well documented record on those roads with high-accident locations. These data base can inform to urban transport planner for road safety improvement. The proposed project is developed to manage the automobile in the automobile dealer company. The main module in this project is login, automobile management, customer management, sales, complaints and reports. The first module is the login. The automobile showroom owner should login to the project for usage. The username and password are verified and if it is correct, next form opens. If the username and password are not correct, it shows the error message.
When a customer search for a automobile, if the automobile is available, they will be taken to a page that shows the details of the automobile including automobile name, automobile ID, quantity, price etc. “Automobile Management System” is useful for maintaining automobiles, customers effectively and hence helps for establishing good relation between customer and automobile organization. It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. On the other hand the stock of automobiles can be maintained perfectly by the automobile shop manager overcoming the drawbacks of existing system.
Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
