This document analyzes road traffic accident data from 2007-2017 on National Highway 6 in Amravati, Maharashtra, India. It finds that:
1) The highest number of accidents occurred between 7-9pm, likely due to driver fatigue and alcohol consumption.
2) March, April and May saw the most accidents, possibly due to environmental factors like heat and glare.
3) Motorcycles accounted for 55% of fatalities, followed by cars at 19% and trucks at 15%.
The study aims to identify safety deficiencies and recommend improvements like road clearing, reduced speeds, and junction improvements to minimize accidents.
