Enterobius Vermicularis
Similarities and Differences between Toxoplasma gondii and Enterobius vermicularis
INTRODUCTION
Protist predators come in different forms one of them is called a parasite, it derives nutrition from its
host. These parasite feed of from the host in order for it to survive (Mader 2010) Also, these parasites
cause disease and sickness. There are three key forms of parasites which may stimulate disease in
humans: protozoa, helminths, and ectoparasites. (CDC). types of parasites around the world, but for
this essay will compare two parasites which are Toxoplasma gondii genus (is a type of roundworm)
and Enterobius vermicularis. E.vermicular is a parasitic disease triggered by pinworm to humans.
While T.gondii is a protozoan parasite which causes a disease identified as toxoplasmosis and this
parasite affects warm blooded animals (Holm G, Roth E 2016), T.gondii is found in the faeces of cats
and undercooked meals, lamb and pork as well, this parasite is transmitted through the partaking of
the contaminated water meaning that it is easy to get this parasite in areas were water is fetched from
the rivers. The Enterobius vermicularis is found to be under the domain of eukarya, the ... Show more

Social Injustice In Executive Order 13769
Due to variance in opinions, people more often disagree than agree on social and political
controversies. Social injustice occurs when these disagreements lead not to civil discourse but instead
the oppression of those with opposing ideas. President Donald Trump s new Executive Order 13769 is
one of the most recent social injustices that has been caused due to his presidency. It has affected an
estimated 90,000 people and has caused huge protests worldwide (Kessler). With the use of unfair and
religion based treatment that violates both the Constitution s establishment clause and the Geneva
Conventions mandate against denying refugees asylum, Trump created a controversial problem that
produced a divide between not only American citizens, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
All he has done since then is keep his word, ensuring his support across his fan base. Donald Trump
thrives in the entertainment industry, which gives him headlines and publicity and cheering crowds
across America, and he has only brought those entertainment tactics to his role as a president ruling by
fear.
There are no social injustices that go without affecting the public, and Executive Order 13769 has
impacted many people not only in our nation, but also in the periphery, in many different countries
around the world. The victims of this social injustice are primarily those from the seven countries,
especially Muslims, but anyone who has put their faith in American idealism will experience the
fallout from this destruction of our constitutional values. When it comes to accepting refugees now,
the White House is essentially prioritizing Christians over Muslims from the Middle East. In fact, in
an interview with the Christian broadcasting network a few days after the immigration ban was
instated, Donald Trump claimed he would favor Christian refugees as an exception to the executive
order (Yulas). People with dual citizenship are being affected now as well by not being able to travel
freely outside the country without worry they may not be allowed to return. A specific victim of this
injustice, Thon Maker, a rookie on the Milwaukee Bucks, is a native of Sudan, one of the seven
countries that Trump has banned for travel (Reports). The National Basketball Association is now
concerned with Maker s ability to travel with his team to Toronto for future games (Reports). The
immigration limitation not only affects people living in the seven countries, but also those who care
about upholding our values and human rights

Speech On The Broadcasting Industry
Address to the Broadcasting Industry
As television channels in the 1960 s continued to display numerous violence, American comedy, and
offensive commercials, television programming offered scanty, enjoyable shows for the general
audience. Newton Minow, the Federal Communications Chairman (FCC) from 1961 to 1963, argued
for a better quality of television in his Address to the Broadcasting Industry to over 2,000 members of
the National Association of Broadcasters. As a result, it generated a national debate about the quality
of television programming. Throughout his speech, Minow argues for better television programming
since other means of communication offer better content, children are exposed to only violence and
cartoons, and the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some people may argue a book is less entertaining and interesting than a television show in the 1960
s. However, the television shows broadcasted are solely focused to entertaining the general audience
after work, chores, or school by employing monotonous programming. If a person who solely watches
television for an entire day, they evidently become tedious. Also, the television shows lack diverse
plots, themes, characters, originality, and other aspects unlike a book or a newspaper. Therefore,
numerous television companies decided to display new content such as news shows, movies, drama
series, horror shows, documentaries, music shows, and shows based on true stories. An example is
HBO s Band of Brothers, a miniseries about the story of a company of soldiers in WWII from their
initial training to the end of the war. During the war, the soldiers experience D Day, participate in
numerous battles, liberate a Nazi concentration camp, and enter Hitler s mountain retreat located in
Berchtesgaden, Germany. This tale of comradeship displays how ordinary, American men
accomplished the extraordinary and end a gruesome and unjustified war. As a result from Newton s
proposal for better television programming, numerous shows and series like Band of Brothers offer an
entertaining, unique, and worthy alternative to other forms of communication.
Another reason Minow argues for better television

Analysis Of Parkinson s Disease ( Pd )
Although the salient characteristics associated with Parkinson s disease (PD) are most commonly
linked to motor deficits, including tremor and rigidity, a majority of individuals with PD also
experience a variety of sensorimotor speech deficits. While listeners often describe the speech of
individuals with PD as unnatural or unintelligible, reflecting many of the phonatory, articulatory, and
prosodic deficits linked to the disorder, individuals with PD tend to minimize or even deny their
speech differences. Because of this discrepancy between listeners perceptions of the speech of
individuals with PD and the PD patients perceptions of their own speech, researchers have recently
begun to shift their focus from the speech production deficits associated with PD to a potential speech
perception deficit within this population. This paper seeks to explore some of the current research and
perspectives surrounding the possible speech perception deficits associated with PD, as well as further
examine and compare the effects of listener perception and self perception on the overall speech
naturalness and intelligibility of individuals with PD. A Comparison of the Effects of Self Perception
and Listener Perception on the Speech Naturalness and Intelligibility of Individuals with Parkinson s
Disease According to Fahn (2003), Parkinson s disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative
disease of unknown etiology that can occur at any age, though most commonly develops in

The Impact Of Organizational Change On Change Management
Introduction
Change is a phenomenon which is inevitable in every aspect of human life and it is always constant
despite the fact that people do resist change due to some reasons. Organizational change is also a
phenomenon which cannot be avoided by organization, because internal and external factors exist
which can cause an organization to change. According to Mills an et al (2008) organization change
can be defined as an alteration of a core aspect of an organization s operations. Theses core aspects
involve culture of the company, the technology used or the structure of the organization. This report
will evaluate the impact of organizational changes.
Change Management
The change Management function will assess the nature and magnitude of the change as a result of the
change programme and who it will affect. In parallel to this, the team should put in place measures to
assess how ready people are for the change. As an output of the change readiness assessments, and any
areas of the organisation who look to be particularly resistant to change or are facing a significant
volume of change can be given specific focus. The readiness to change will be measured across the
project lifecycle to monitor and track the sentiment of the organisation.
Policies and Procedures against the Strategic Plan
Once reviewed, policies which had been developed in response to meeting the requirements of the
strategic plan must b reviewed to identify those that require change. The time taken

The Hero s Journey In The Autobiography Of Malcolm X
In the book The Autobiography of Malcolm X, Malcolm X transforms from a no good street hustler to
a civil rights hero. He changed from a vulgar and aggressive character, to that of someone who
believes in equality for all. Malcolm X changed because of many of the events he went through and
also many of the people he had met. Malcolm s life s events mimic the checkpoints on a Hero s
Journey. He was able to rise up from his common world and define himself as someone who was truly
heroic. Malcolm s journey to becoming a hero began when he started CROSSING THE FIRST
THRESHOLD. He crossed this line by beginning to do drugs and wanting to be more like the white
man. After he begins to do drugs he defines himself as malicious and greedy. He will ... Show more

Traits And A Golden Retriever
This essay is about how traits are passed and how traits are inherited. Traits are features and
characteristics that we can see. Everyone has traits and you get them by inheriting them. Also included
in this essay is the breeding of a German Shepard and a Golden Retriever. Everyone has traits, but
how do we get them? Your genotypes determine your phenotype (or trait). To determine your
genotype, you use the alleles given from each parent. If an allele is dominant then it is expressed by a
capital letter, and if it is a recessive allele then the letter is lowercase. Your genotype can be expressed
in different ways, Homozygous Dominant (EE), Heterozygous (Ee), and Homozygous Dominant (ee).
In order for you to know the probability of the offspring getting a certain trait is through Punnett
Squares and Pedigrees. In a Punnett square you put one genotype on the top of the square and put the
other genotype on the left side of the square. You use those and cross the alleles and get the genotypes
for the offspring. You can then use the genotypes to determine the probability of the offspring getting
a dominant or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I chose to breed a Homozygous Dominant German Shepherd and a Heterozygous Golden Retriever. I
tracked a trait of Fur Color and when I used a Punnett Square I found out that the offspring will have
dominant black/brown fur. The ratio for the genotype is 2:2:0 (50% Homozygous Dominant, 50%
Heterozygous, and 0% Homozygous Recessive). The ratio for the phenotype is 2:2 (50% Black Fur,
50% Brown Fur). I chose to breed these two dogs because you don t see many people with a German
Shepard and a Golden Retriever mix, and you can make money off of them since they are rare. Too

The Pros And Cons Of Skepticism
The most basic claim of skepticism, it seems to me, usually involves a version of the classic Cartesian
Evil Demon Scenario (EDS). I believe that EDS should be redefined before we start an extensive
discussion thereof: EDS is generally a scenario, involving an attitude towards the reality we live in (it
includes both an ontological and epistemic shift in our thinking), involving questioning the basic
assumption that what we perceive in that reality is not (directly) caused by the objects (phenomena et
cetera), but is caused by an indirect entity (such as an Evil Demon or an Evil Scientist simulating the
experience you seem to have). Even though this is the principle skepticism is based on, to me, it is
also its weakest point. In this paper, I will, first, try to reconstruct some of the common skeptic
approaches and then attempt to show how skeptic arguments and scenarios can be dissolved (not
refuted, since trying to refute a skeptic argument causes one to fall into the same trap as the skeptic
does).
The foremost example of an EDS was presented by Descartes in his Meditation I. It proceeds in
phases, which I will not talk in detail, but summarize in a concise way: Descartes first observes the
objects, phenomena around him; then he concedes that he cannot tell the difference between waking
and dreaming, that he had the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These arguments follow premises that cannot be testified by observable data, neither do they provide
any analytical, a priori arguments, which can be deduced from other a priori propositions. Even
though I reject an epistemic discussion which involves any sort of EDS, from a meta epistemological
perspective, this paper summarizes my beliefs pretty well and I also believe that those who find
themselves in a situation where they have to argue against these types of arguments can benefit from
some of the thoughts I laid out in this

Theodore Roethke Influences
Theodore Huebner Roethke was an American poet who grew internally from the experiences that
shaped him and transferred them to works that became immensely famous and influential (Theodore
Roethke). The poet s adolescent years were harsh and jarred. He spent most of his childhood playing
in his father s greenhouse and surrounding himself with nature. The emotional events that presented
themselves into Roethke s life because of his father s death and his uncle s suicide made him feel
isolated and abandoned during his time spent at several different colleges which subsequently
influenced him to create one his works, In A Dark Time, representing the war between a man and his
madness by emphasizing the use of a paradox, personification, and natural imagery. ... Show more

During his teen years, Roethke attended Saginaw s Arthur Hill High School which he disliked it. In
1923, Roethke s father was declared deceased from cancer. This loss left Roethke mentally unstable
and resulted in his suffering of manic depressive episodes, generally known as Bipolar I Disorder.
From 1925 to 1929, Roethke attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and graduated with
great distinction. Instead of giving into his family s wishes of pursuing a legal career, the poet quit law
school after a semester, and from 1929 to 1931 he took graduate courses at the University of
Michigan. Some time after, he began attending the Harvard Graduate School. Eventually, the hard
economic experiences of the Great Depression pressured the poet to leave Harvard to pursue a
teaching profession at Lafayette College from 1931 to 1935. Although he found it difficult to fit in,
Roethke slowly began making friends. He met Rolfe Humphries, Louise Bogan, and later found a
supportive colleague and friend, Stanley Kunitz. In 1935, Roethke barely delivered his second
teaching post at Michigan State College at Lansing before he

Murray Bowen s Family Systems Theory To Look At The Family
Murray Bowen s family systems theory is a theory of human behavior that looks at the family as an
expressive unit and uses systems thinking to describe the multiple interactions in the element. Bowen,
a family therapist, focused on how family members could maintain a healthy balance between being
overly involved in each other s lives and having too much detachment from each other. He focused on
four ways of helping families develop individual identities for each member while maintaining a sense
of closeness and togetherness with their families. Spousal relationships, de triangulation, emotional
systems, and differentiation are emphasized. Bowen paid attention to the spousal relationship and the
definition and clarification of the couple s relationship.

What makes us who we are? Well, this is a broad question, but a lot of different factors impact us on a
way we might not understand until the time is right. The motivation and goals we set for ourselves,
who we surround ourselves with whether we have a choice or not, learning from mistakes and making

Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra
Not knowing what to expect when I took my seat at the Atlanta Symphony Hall, I was anxious. I loved
hearing any classical music come over the radio for a few seconds as one of my parents turned the
knob on the radio while driving. No matter how hard I wished for the knob to stop turning, it never
did. The only real experience I had with classical music was during Music class at school and the one
teacher who played records in her room during quiet times. But this day was something special. My
sister and I were asked to join a small group of teens to attend a concert of the Atlanta Symphony
Youth Orchestra. The cousin of an attendee would play in the orchestra that year and I was thrilled to
be attending.
We got to our seats early so we could be sure we were in a good location. The instrumentalists
warming up with different sounds and scales all playing at the same time was like listening to the
sounds of nature. Everyone had their own different sound. Everyone was playing something different.
While I was amazed at what I heard, it wasn t until the conductor raised his baton and the first sounds
from a well practiced group took my breath away. Every section came together to make the most
beautiful sound floating throughout the hall; a sound of excellence. ... Show more content on

A school s main mission is to set up its students to succeed in the future. Almost everyone goes
through the experience of school, but everyone experiences it differently. For me, I was fortunate
enough to not worry about my education while growing up. For some, a good education is never a
concern and these students do not have to worry about being prepared for the future. For others, such
as the ones in Waiting for Superman, a good education does not come as easily. These students and
families must struggle to obtain an education that sets students up for success. These families often
end up in poorly managed public schools where their child receives a poor education due to their

Essay On How To Vote
What resource will be most helpful to you as you decide if and how to vote? How can you help
prepare others for election day?
I have really already established a set of values and wants that I would like to be able to see in a
representative, but just as Black wrote about being overcome by the ballot, I also felt I was unprepared
for the long list of elected offices on the ballot. I recognized some of the names on the ballot, but other
than that it was a guessing game. The resources that will be most helpful when I go to vote again will
be learning more about each candidate and their positions, learning actual government offices and
what the job entails, and creating a priority list. During the next election depending on the type of
race, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We have to remember that politics are complex and the government has already solved the easy
problems and we must accept the complexity of the process, Black says. By knowing this we can
honor God by doing our best to listen to our neighbors and be understanding like he would want. The
government depends on compromise and the ability for each representative to not only express their
views but listen to others who oppose them. We must learn to listen to our neighbors to be able to
create a society that is great in the eyes of God. One must be prepared to debate over issues they
believe are right and wrong, but never stray away from your own personal beliefs and values just
because someone does not agree. Black says to look outside of politics to help address problems such
as in your church or in your family. She says, Model Christian values in your family, and set a positive
example for others (Black 197). She states that we should honor and respect your public officials
because most are dedicated public servants trying to do their best to make a difference. Finally, Black
says instead of criticizing political leaders we do not agree with, we should pray to God for their

Barbara Ehrenreich s Nickel and Dimed Essay
Barbara Ehrenreich s Nickel and Dimed In the novel Nickel and Dimed by Barbara Ehnreich, there are
many hurtles she must overcome to experience the life of a low income worker. She sets some ground
rules for herself, such as always having a car, and starting out with a certain amount of money for her
down payment on an apartment. Although the rules are doable, she admits that she broke all of the
rules at least once. Even though Barbara didn t hold to her original plan, she was still able to reveal
her appeals clearly. Barbara has many examples of the three appeals in the first chapter alone. Pathos,
aimed at the readers feelings. Ethos, aimed at the reader to trust her because of her experiences.

She passes on this job, and later starts working as a waitress at Hearthside, a family restaurant attached
to the hotel. She tells about her experience as a waitress, and flashes back to her teenage years I
remember it leaving me bone tired when I was eighteen, and I m decades of varicosities and back pain
beyond that now. (Ehrenreich, 13) This is an example of ethos. She tells about the side work involved,
and gives credit to the real people who do these kinds of jobs everyday. It is defiantly a strain on her,
and her co workers have a lot more on their plates than she does. When she starts her first day at
Hearthside, the woman training her, Gail, tells her about her life. This is the first time Ehrenreich gets
a taste of the lives in low paying jobs world. the reason she s so tired today is that she woke up in a
cold sweat thinking of her boyfriend, who was killed a few months ago in a scuffle in an upstate
prison and after he was gone she spent several months living in her truck, peeing in a plastic pee
bottle and reading by candle light at night (Ehrenreich, 17) From then on she starts collecting
information about her fellow co workers. Gossip is like an everyday thing on the job because a lot of
the reason all of the co workers are in these positions is because they have to work low paying jobs.
Ehrenreich doesn t have stories like this to tell the others so she just tells of her real life, like being
divorced. When she ends up getting

Effects Of The Hukou System
As we have discussed in the previous part, the Hukuo system worked as a door guard in the command
economy. However, the world changes everyday. We should look at both goods and harms of Hukou
approach in order to evaluate the effectiveness of Hukou system in todays world. Although it brought
benefit to the state, it also becomes a giant stumbling block for China. In this part, analysis will be
elaborated based on two aspects: positive and negative effects.
Regarding to Wang, the major functions of Hukuo system can be divided into four parts (2008).

Arthur Dimmesdale And Double Life In Hawthorne By...
Isn t it remarkable how Arthur Dimmesdale manages to somehow, for seven years, keep his private
life separate from his public one? In regards to Arthur s behavior, Hawthorne states, No man, for a
considerable period, can wear one face to himself and another to the multitude without getting
bewildered as to which may be true. To restate Hawthorne s quote: no one can be true to him or
herself, while lying to everyone because soon enough one will confuse the act with reality. Having a
Dimmesdale s style of living results in living a double life, plenty of penance, and self damage
affecting loved ones.
First off, when someone walks around with two faces, he or she will begin to live with two distinct
lives as well. For example, Dimmesdale is seen as the greatest saint in the Puritan community, but he
is secretly holding onto an unrepented sin. His humanly desires get the best of him when he commits
adultery with Hester Prynne and hence produces an elf child named Pearl. The sinner is put on a
pedestal and adored by his congregation in broad daylight. On the other hand, he is self convicted
through severe physical and mental reprimanding in the middle of the night. In the novel, Hawthorne
explains, In Mr. Dimmesdale s secret closet, under lock and key, there was a bloody scourge...he kept
his vigils... until his knees trembled beneath him...sometimes in utter darkness...his brain often reeled
and visions seemed to flit before him... (Hawthorne 141). At Dimmesdale s Election

Guanine And Adenine
1. Erwin Chargaff s experiments revealed that guanine and cytosine had equal amounts of molecules
to each other and that similarly, adenine and thymine had equal amounts to each other. This ultimately
suggested to Watson that adenine will always be paired with thymine and that guanine will always be
paired with cytosine and that therefore they should fit together in the structure of DNA.
2. I believe that Watson meant that all the components of the structure fit perfectly together in a
double helical structure and that therefore, it had to be the true form of DNA. Since the structure
proposed satisfied the laws and principles associated with DNA, I believe Watson viewed the structure
as too perfect not to be true as he says in the book.

Media Influence On Society
Media. What is it? How does it affect us? Why does it change us? Lots of people think that the media
of ours is a significant element in just who we re. Some people believe that it can alter an individual
throughout the lifetime of theirs. Through the years the press has experienced a severe impact on
modern society, an influence consequently astounding we do not detect its existence sometimes. The
media is essential to our civilization; we re many in the middle of the media. Every each day a lot of
peoples connect to media of many methods. Media is frequently described as signifying a channel of
communication. We to be a modern society soak up press coming from a multitude of forms, including
the internet, billboards, newspapers, magazines, radio, and television.
Mass media influences individuals differently due to various quantities of formats and exposure. It s a
type of socialization, holding a long term impact on each part of society. Because many people use
media very chronically, it s apparent to think it influences has on everybody. You will find much more
than one philosophical debate talking about the scope of how media influences people and the society
of ours. During this paper, I will explain the positive and negatives effects it has in today s society, and
how it impacts or self esteem and also, if that should change. The type of media I m going to focus on
is social media.

HOTLANTA S ENTREPRENUER AGYEI PITTMAN, C.E.O. OF GRIND MEDIA, LLC. TALKS
SUCCESS AND WHY THE GRIND DOESN T STOP
NATURAL BORN WINNER, Agyei Pittman has a compelling story blended with trials, tribulations,
and triumph. Recognized through and beyond the streets of Metro Atlanta as Jay Grind, Grind is a
living legacy. The self sacrificial Marketing Specialist and entrepreneur is passionate in his expertise
and is generally observed working tirelessly− often extending service to the less fortunate. On
yesterday, Grind was generous enough to offer his valuable time to answer five personal questions that
helps paint a clearer picture of his legacy. During the discussion with Grind, he was initially asked if
there was a person or situation that inspires him the most and gives his life purpose. Probably my
mom and dad because they stayed down and carried each other. They made complex things look
simple because of their team work, he explained. Indeed, having parental devotion as a part of life is
enriching to the core. Nothing compares to the sense of pride which develops when having unrelenting
parents there to lead you down the right path. That s priceless. Being a father, himself, is an honor that
Grind doesn t take for granted. Rarely taking time out for leisure, Grind meticulously balances a
bustling occupation and being charitable with fatherhood.
At times in life, many of us regret or may have been embarrassed by prior circumstances that we have
encountered. Moving into the second question, Grind was asked had he ever felt ashamed of his past.
Yeah, I can say when we first moved around Caucasians. I didn t speak on Columbus, Ga that much. I
felt they wouldn t relate, so I never spoke on the disadvantage situations, he admitted. Grind s
response is appreciated. Any unfamiliar situation is prone to cause a level of anxiety. Also, being able
to open up about the past is not the easiest thing to do.
Raising the third question, Grind was asked to name one of his greatest accomplishments.
Brainstorming, he replied, I guess graduating college and never going to prison. I had my fair share of
mis takes and wrong ideas about life. I m just glad it never led me to being sent down the road for a

Memory and how it affects Anton s character
Memory is defined as The faculty of the mind by which it retains the knowledge of previous thoughts,
impressions, or events. Memories are units of information that have impacted one s life and are stored
in the brain for years. In some cases, dramatic events may not let the brain register every single detail
about a situation. This is much like Anton s case of the winter of 1945 of the novel The Assault by
Harry Mulisch. The events of that winter affected him like no other would. The loss of his mother,
father and brother and the burning of his house left an impact on him but the events were so grave his
brain did not allow him to remember the smaller ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She becomes some sort of a mother figure to Anton. Although Anton felt as if he could remember
every word, every feeling and every scent that night in the cell, he drew a blank. Takes explains that
the woman in the cell with him was one of Ploeg s killers. This was one of those important moments
in your life that is so grave you can t allow yourself to remember. It may have been due to the fact that
Anton didn t remember, or didn t want to remember the details that remind him of the death of his
family members.
After he meets Takes he meets Karen Kortweg one of the more important characters in the plot. The
Kortweg s were the ones who took Fake Ploeg s body and dragged it in front of Anton s family s
house, the Steenwijk residence. When meeting Karen, she finally explains the reasoning behind why
she left the body in front of the Steenwijk s house and not any of the other two neighbour s houses.
Once she goes into detail about the families and her and her father s reasoning s Anton begins to
understand and remember the neighbourhood he grew up in and the events of that night.
It is amazing how memories can be jogged by a single person, object, sound or scent. The people
Anton has met and the places he revisits allow him to remember the events of his torturous past, which
permit him to determine his future. Without memories people would not be able to be happy and
reminisce on all the great moments

There is an interesting alternative, recently proposed by Pasquier And others. Instead of mining the
complete set of FI sets and their associations, it needs only to find FCI(frequent closed item) sets and
their corresponding rules. An important inclusion is that mining FCI sets has the same power as
mining the full set of FI sets, but it will virtually reduce redundant rules to be generated and expand
both efficiency and effectiveness of mining By using CLOSET algorithm we can efficiently mine the
FCI sets.

Similarities Between Kenya And The United States
The United Nations Development Program is a global development network tasked with the
responsibility of advocating for change in various countries. The body works to eradicate poverty and
reduce inequalities through sustainable development. Several dimensions including health, education
and income measure human development. Each of the three dimensions has their specific indicators.
This exposition will compare the data on two countries and explain why they rank in different
categories. The two countries of interest are Kenya and the United States. The countries rank
differently on the various indicators. The paper will try to answer why this is so. Kenya is presently
ranked at position 147 with a human development index of 0.535. On the other hand, the United States
ranks 5th with an average of 0.914. Kenya has its life expectancy at birth at 61.72 while that of the
United States is 78.94. The reason for the quite high figure is due to the improved health care facilities
that the country possesses. There are enough medicines and medical equipment to respond adequately

In a nutshell, the population in the United States is more educated than their Kenyan counterparts.
There are numerous reasons that could explain the above situation. The education system of the
United States is more developed as there are good policies that govern the education sector. The
access to education is high because of the numerous numbers of schools that are in place. The teaching
personnel is sufficient thus the low teacher to pupil ratio. The same can barely be said about Kenya.
This country has a limited number of schools compared to its population. Individuals find it harder to
access education primarily due to their scarcity. The transition rates are also quite low and the teaching
staff inadequate resulting in a high teacher pupil

The Success Of A Recession
Warren Buffett, entrepreneur and investor once said, It s only when the tide goes out that you discover
who s been swimming naked. In order to know exactly what Mr. Buffett was talking about when he
said this line, you would have either had to be there or one day have the opportunity to ask him
yourself. However, in the context of comparing this quote to economics, or perhaps banking, one
could say that what he meant was that the choices that are made today might not be judged until later
down the road. For example, a recession is not something that just happens over night. In the event
leading up to a recession, there are many factors and every recession is unique in their own way. As
for the great recession in 2008, the causes included subprime lending, and greed amongst lenders and
borrowers. Before jumping straight into the causes of the 2008 recession, first you must be informed
of the history in previous recessions America has had to face. Since the Great Depression ended in
mid 1930 s, America has had to overcome around eleven recessions. Now some might argue that not
all recorded recessions were worthy of getting the tittle as an official recession. Many will simply say
it was slight hiccup in the economy because of the short six to eight month duration of the smaller
recessions. When divided over the years It seems that the United States has one to two recessions
every decade. However, everyone of the short recessions had a significant impact on the American

King Lear Nothing Quotes
The concept of nothing in Shakespeare s King Lear is vital to the development of the characters and
the relationships between them. The symbol of nothing represents the fear the characters have of
altering their current status to irrelevant and indigent.
At the onset of the play the concept of nothing is misunderstood as it is oftenly in the entire play, King
Lear and Cordelia use nothing but they both have different ways of using the word which creates the
conflict and leads the plot. As Cordelia tries to explain to her father (Lear) that she cannot put her
feelings for him into words by saying nothing, Lear misunderstands and asserts nothing will come
from nothing. (Act. 1, Scene 1)In the play, King Lear, the quote Nothing will come from nothing , the
symbol of nothing is used as Lear tries to intimidate Cordelia by saying that if she doesn t have
anything to say she will get nothing consequently. Cordelia basically plans to speak authentically and

Summary Of Destiny Of The Republic
Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Medicine, Madness, and Murder of a President by Candice Millard
is a non fiction book that explains the assassination of the 20th president of the United States, James
Garfield. President Garfield was the second president to be murdered while serving a term in office.
This book is exceptional because of the historical context it makes you feel as if Charles Guiteau is
standing right in front of you with a gun pointed at the president. Personally, I never knew much about
President Garfield, until I read Destiny of the Republic. The thing about this book is that Mr. Garfield
is a person who I have come to love. I admire his courage and honesty. President Garfield grew up
without much money but somehow managed to make it work; he did everything he could in order to
get a good education. President Garfield s honesty was prevalent in almost every part of the book.
There wasn t really any moment when Mr. Garfield wasn t honest. It was extraordinary how the author
was able to intertwine multiple different stories into one book. She included President Garfield s
assassination, Roscoe Conkling exploiting the spoils system in American government, Joseph Lister s
journey with attempting a sterile environment while operating, and Alexander Graham Bell making a
metal detector to try and find the bullet stuck inside the president.

Israel s Involvement In The 1967 June War
The nature of Israel s involvement in the 1967 June War can be aptly portrayed as both a prime
example of pre emptive self defence of the nation and as a rapacious campaign of self interested
opportunism. A central tenet of the Israeli position that Arab encroachment posed a danger to the
continued existence of Israel is that the short and long term consequences of Israel not acting
decisively were disastrous and had to be avoided. The partisan essence of the Six Day War is
exemplified through the Arab narrative s empathetic denial that Israel acted defensively and their
testimony that the actual aggressor in this conflict was Israel. Primary source documents, particularly
declassified intelligence reports, provide a unique prism through which one can deconstruct some of
the underlying principles that steer Israel s justifications of war against its foes. Likewise, the rejection
of elements of Israel s narrative by esteemed Israeli s such as Yitzhak Rabin and Abba Eban indicates
that certain facets of its conduct in the June War cannot be reasonably understood as being defensive.

the ideology of defensive warfare. Consequently, it becomes vital to analyse contemporary source

of the supplied product, by matching or combining the supply and demand curves. The example I have

Freedom and jurisdiction over what makes up your country is never fully appreciated until it is taken
away by another country that thinks they can do it better and more efficiently. Ireland was conquered
by the United Kingdom in what seemed to Ireland as a barbaric, and unwarranted way. Ireland s was
made up of a vast majority of Catholics that came to regard their religion as their safe haven when
Britain ventured to conform them to new beliefs in every aspect of their lives. Ireland s beliefs,

People in distinction to a province in northern France, known as the Normans, colonized England, a

Nationalism, and Religion ) From an initial point, politics and religion stood as reminders of
contrasting sides of the strife. The religious and political association determined that both sides
possessed a solid sense of belief in their own cause. ( Northern Ireland: The Omagh Bomb,
Nationalism, and Religion ) From an early stage, there were instigators such as religion and politics
that pinpointed the very reason so many lives were lost. The segmentation of the island into two
political bodies is the result of a lengthy course of British rule, going back to 1171, when King Henry

The power was held in the hands of a British king, therefore resulting in Britain having the first, last

  • 3. Social Injustice In Executive Order 13769 Due to variance in opinions, people more often disagree than agree on social and political controversies. Social injustice occurs when these disagreements lead not to civil discourse but instead the oppression of those with opposing ideas. President Donald Trump s new Executive Order 13769 is one of the most recent social injustices that has been caused due to his presidency. It has affected an estimated 90,000 people and has caused huge protests worldwide (Kessler). With the use of unfair and religion based treatment that violates both the Constitution s establishment clause and the Geneva Conventions mandate against denying refugees asylum, Trump created a controversial problem that produced a divide between not only American citizens, ... Donald Trump thrives in the entertainment industry, which gives him headlines and publicity and cheering crowds across America, and he has only brought those entertainment tactics to his role as a president ruling by fear. There are no social injustices that go without affecting the public, and Executive Order 13769 has impacted many people not only in our nation, but also in the periphery, in many different countries around the world. The victims of this social injustice are primarily those from the seven countries, especially Muslims, but anyone who has put their faith in American idealism will experience the fallout from this destruction of our constitutional values. When it comes to accepting refugees now, the White House is essentially prioritizing Christians over Muslims from the Middle East. In fact, in an interview with the Christian broadcasting network a few days after the immigration ban was instated, Donald Trump claimed he would favor Christian refugees as an exception to the executive order (Yulas). People with dual citizenship are being affected now as well by not being able to travel freely outside the country without worry they may not be allowed to return. A specific victim of this injustice, Thon Maker, a rookie on the Milwaukee Bucks, is a native of Sudan, one of the seven countries that Trump has banned for travel (Reports). The National Basketball Association is now concerned with Maker s ability to travel with his team to Toronto for future games (Reports). • 4. Speech On The Broadcasting Industry Address to the Broadcasting Industry As television channels in the 1960 s continued to display numerous violence, American comedy, and offensive commercials, television programming offered scanty, enjoyable shows for the general audience. Newton Minow, the Federal Communications Chairman (FCC) from 1961 to 1963, argued for a better quality of television in his Address to the Broadcasting Industry to over 2,000 members of the National Association of Broadcasters. As a result, it generated a national debate about the quality of television programming. Throughout his speech, Minow argues for better television programming since other means of communication offer better content, children are exposed to only violence and cartoons, and the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Some people may argue a book is less entertaining and interesting than a television show in the 1960 s. However, the television shows broadcasted are solely focused to entertaining the general audience after work, chores, or school by employing monotonous programming. If a person who solely watches television for an entire day, they evidently become tedious. Also, the television shows lack diverse plots, themes, characters, originality, and other aspects unlike a book or a newspaper. Therefore, numerous television companies decided to display new content such as news shows, movies, drama series, horror shows, documentaries, music shows, and shows based on true stories. An example is HBO s Band of Brothers, a miniseries about the story of a company of soldiers in WWII from their initial training to the end of the war. During the war, the soldiers experience D Day, participate in numerous battles, liberate a Nazi concentration camp, and enter Hitler s mountain retreat located in Berchtesgaden, Germany. This tale of comradeship displays how ordinary, American men accomplished the extraordinary and end a gruesome and unjustified war. As a result from Newton s proposal for better television programming, numerous shows and series like Band of Brothers offer an entertaining, unique, and worthy alternative to other forms of communication. • 6. Analysis Of Parkinson s Disease ( Pd ) Although the salient characteristics associated with Parkinson s disease (PD) are most commonly linked to motor deficits, including tremor and rigidity, a majority of individuals with PD also experience a variety of sensorimotor speech deficits. While listeners often describe the speech of individuals with PD as unnatural or unintelligible, reflecting many of the phonatory, articulatory, and prosodic deficits linked to the disorder, individuals with PD tend to minimize or even deny their speech differences. Because of this discrepancy between listeners perceptions of the speech of individuals with PD and the PD patients perceptions of their own speech, researchers have recently begun to shift their focus from the speech production deficits associated with PD to a potential speech perception deficit within this population. This paper seeks to explore some of the current research and perspectives surrounding the possible speech perception deficits associated with PD, as well as further examine and compare the effects of listener perception and self perception on the overall speech naturalness and intelligibility of individuals with PD. • 8. The Impact Of Organizational Change On Change Management Introduction Change is a phenomenon which is inevitable in every aspect of human life and it is always constant despite the fact that people do resist change due to some reasons. Organizational change is also a phenomenon which cannot be avoided by organization, because internal and external factors exist which can cause an organization to change. According to Mills an et al (2008) organization change can be defined as an alteration of a core aspect of an organization s operations. Theses core aspects involve culture of the company, the technology used or the structure of the organization. This report will evaluate the impact of organizational changes. Change Management The change Management function will assess the nature and magnitude of the change as a result of the change programme and who it will affect. In parallel to this, the team should put in place measures to assess how ready people are for the change. As an output of the change readiness assessments, and any areas of the organisation who look to be particularly resistant to change or are facing a significant volume of change can be given specific focus. The readiness to change will be measured across the project lifecycle to monitor and track the sentiment of the organisation. Policies and Procedures against the Strategic Plan Once reviewed, policies which had been developed in response to meeting the requirements of the strategic plan must b reviewed to identify those that require change. • 10. Traits And A Golden Retriever This essay is about how traits are passed and how traits are inherited. Traits are features and characteristics that we can see. Everyone has traits and you get them by inheriting them. Also included in this essay is the breeding of a German Shepard and a Golden Retriever. Everyone has traits, but how do we get them? Your genotypes determine your phenotype (or trait). To determine your genotype, you use the alleles given from each parent. If an allele is dominant then it is expressed by a capital letter, and if it is a recessive allele then the letter is lowercase. Your genotype can be expressed in different ways, Homozygous Dominant (EE), Heterozygous (Ee), and Homozygous Dominant (ee). In order for you to know the probability of the offspring getting a certain trait is through Punnett Squares and Pedigrees. In a Punnett square you put one genotype on the top of the square and put the other genotype on the left side of the square. You use those and cross the alleles and get the genotypes for the offspring. You can then use the genotypes to determine the probability of the offspring getting a dominant or ... • 11. The Pros And Cons Of Skepticism The most basic claim of skepticism, it seems to me, usually involves a version of the classic Cartesian Evil Demon Scenario (EDS). I believe that EDS should be redefined before we start an extensive discussion thereof: EDS is generally a scenario, involving an attitude towards the reality we live in (it includes both an ontological and epistemic shift in our thinking), involving questioning the basic assumption that what we perceive in that reality is not (directly) caused by the objects (phenomena et cetera), but is caused by an indirect entity (such as an Evil Demon or an Evil Scientist simulating the experience you seem to have). Even though this is the principle skepticism is based on, to me, it is also its weakest point. In this paper, I will, first, try to reconstruct some of the common skeptic approaches and then attempt to show how skeptic arguments and scenarios can be dissolved (not refuted, since trying to refute a skeptic argument causes one to fall into the same trap as the skeptic does). The foremost example of an EDS was presented by Descartes in his Meditation I. It proceeds in phases, which I will not talk in detail, but summarize in a concise way: Descartes first observes the objects, phenomena around him; then he concedes that he cannot tell the difference between waking and dreaming, that he had the ... On yesterday, Grind was generous enough to offer his valuable time to answer five personal questions that helps paint a clearer picture of his legacy. During the discussion with Grind, he was initially asked if there was a person or situation that inspires him the most and gives his life purpose. Probably my mom and dad because they stayed down and carried each other. They made complex things look simple because of their team work, he explained. Indeed, having parental devotion as a part of life is enriching to the core. Nothing compares to the sense of pride which develops when having unrelenting parents there to lead you down the right path. That s priceless. Being a father, himself, is an honor that Grind doesn t take for granted. Rarely taking time out for leisure, Grind meticulously balances a bustling occupation and being charitable with fatherhood. At times in life, many of us regret or may have been embarrassed by prior circumstances that we have encountered. Moving into the second question, Grind was asked had he ever felt ashamed of his past. Yeah, I can say when we first moved around Caucasians. I didn t speak on Columbus, Ga that much. • 29. The Assault Stephanie Zito The Assault Memory and how it affects Anton s character Memory is defined as The faculty of the mind by which it retains the knowledge of previous thoughts, impressions, or events. Memories are units of information that have impacted one s life and are stored in the brain for years. In some cases, dramatic events may not let the brain register every single detail about a situation. This is much like Anton s case of the winter of 1945 of the novel The Assault by Harry Mulisch. The events of that winter affected him like no other would. The loss of his mother, father and brother and the burning of his house left an impact on him but the events were so grave his brain did not allow him to remember the smaller ... Although Anton felt as if he could remember every word, every feeling and every scent that night in the cell, he drew a blank. Takes explains that the woman in the cell with him was one of Ploeg s killers. This was one of those important moments in your life that is so grave you can t allow yourself to remember. It may have been due to the fact that Anton didn t remember, or didn t want to remember the details that remind him of the death of his family members. After he meets Takes he meets Karen Kortweg one of the more important characters in the plot. The Kortweg s were the ones who took Fake Ploeg s body and dragged it in front of Anton s family s house, the Steenwijk residence. When meeting Karen, she finally explains the reasoning behind why she left the body in front of the Steenwijk s house and not any of the other two neighbour s houses. Once she goes into detail about the families and her and her father s reasoning s Anton begins to understand and remember the neighbourhood he grew up in and the events of that night. It is amazing how memories can be jogged by a single person, object, sound or scent. The people Anton has met and the places he revisits allow him to remember the events of his torturous past, which permit him to determine his future. Without memories people would not be able to be happy and reminisce on all the great moments ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Instead of mining the complete set of FI sets and their associations, it needs only to find FCI(frequent closed item) sets and their corresponding rules. An important inclusion is that mining FCI sets has the same power as mining the full set of FI sets, but it will virtually reduce redundant rules to be generated and expand both efficiency and effectiveness of mining By using CLOSET algorithm we can efficiently mine the FCI sets. KEYWORDS : Data mining ; Association rules ; FP tree ; FCI ; CLOSET . Introduction With the increment in IT (Information Technology) the size of the databases generated by the organizations due to the availability of low cost store and the development in the data pick technologies is also increasing , Data mining (DM) also called KDD (Knowledge discovery in databases) helps to identifying priceless information in such large databases. In order to know exactly what Mr. Buffett was talking about when he said this line, you would have either had to be there or one day have the opportunity to ask him yourself. However, in the context of comparing this quote to economics, or perhaps banking, one could say that what he meant was that the choices that are made today might not be judged until later down the road. For example, a recession is not something that just happens over night. In the event leading up to a recession, there are many factors and every recession is unique in their own way. As for the great recession in 2008, the causes included subprime lending, and greed amongst lenders and borrowers. Before jumping straight into the causes of the 2008 recession, first you must be informed of the history in previous recessions America has had to face. Since the Great Depression ended in mid 1930 s, America has had to overcome around eleven recessions. Now some might argue that not all recorded recessions were worthy of getting the tittle as an official recession. Many will simply say it was slight hiccup in the economy because of the short six to eight month duration of the smaller recessions. When divided over the years It seems that the United States has one to two recessions every decade. However, everyone of the short recessions had a significant impact on the American ... Summary Of Destiny Of The Republic Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Medicine, Madness, and Murder of a President by Candice Millard is a non fiction book that explains the assassination of the 20th president of the United States, James Garfield. President Garfield was the second president to be murdered while serving a term in office. This book is exceptional because of the historical context it makes you feel as if Charles Guiteau is standing right in front of you with a gun pointed at the president. Personally, I never knew much about President Garfield, until I read Destiny of the Republic. The thing about this book is that Mr. Garfield is a person who I have come to love. I admire his courage and honesty. President Garfield grew up without much money but somehow managed to make it work; he did everything he could in order to get a good education. President Garfield s honesty was prevalent in almost every part of the book. There wasn t really any moment when Mr. Garfield wasn t honest. It was extraordinary how the author was able to intertwine multiple different stories into one book. She included President Garfield s assassination, Roscoe Conkling exploiting the spoils system in American government, Joseph Lister s journey with attempting a sterile environment while operating, and Alexander Graham Bell making a metal detector to try and find the bullet stuck inside the president. ... • 37. Israel s Involvement In The 1967 June War The nature of Israel s involvement in the 1967 June War can be aptly portrayed as both a prime example of pre emptive self defence of the nation and as a rapacious campaign of self interested opportunism. A central tenet of the Israeli position that Arab encroachment posed a danger to the continued existence of Israel is that the short and long term consequences of Israel not acting decisively were disastrous and had to be avoided. The partisan essence of the Six Day War is exemplified through the Arab narrative s empathetic denial that Israel acted defensively and their testimony that the actual aggressor in this conflict was Israel. Primary source documents, particularly declassified intelligence reports, provide a unique prism through which one can deconstruct some of the underlying principles that steer Israel s justifications of war against its foes. Likewise, the rejection of elements of Israel s narrative by esteemed Israeli s such as Yitzhak Rabin and Abba Eban indicates that certain facets of its conduct in the June War cannot be reasonably understood as being defensive. Supply and demand principles serve as a useful model for business manager s to analyze the competitive market. It also illustrates how buyers and sellers interact in various business situations. Buyers and sellers will come to a point where they both agree on price and quantity. When this occurs, the point of intersection of supply and demand creates the point of equilibrium. The point of equilibrium can also be called the efficient markets theory. The efficient market theory explains how the equilibrium price is the price where the quantity demanded matches the quantity supplied. A business manager can determine how the markets react to the prices of the supplied product, by matching or combining the supply and demand curves. The example I have chosen to review is the market for the Beanie Babies toy before and after they became popular. During the nineties there was a rage amongst adults and children for the popular plush toys called Beanie Babies. This toy beat out sales of all other toys during this time period.
