The endocrine glands secrete hormones directly into the bloodstream and include the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, pineal gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, pancreas, adrenal glands, ovaries, testes, heart, kidneys, and fat cells. The pancreas produces hormones that regulate blood sugar and is located deep in the abdomen. The testes produce sperm and male hormones like testosterone. The ovaries produce eggs and female hormones and are located in the pelvis. The adrenal glands atop the kidneys produce hormones that control stress responses. The pituitary gland is called the "master gland" because it controls other glands and body functions through the hormones it produces.

In this power point presentation, we discuss about how movement and locomotion takes place in Humans. We discuss about various types of muscles present in humans, how those muscles contract. Also we discuss about the human skeletal system with all the bones and joints in the human body
This PPT Is made by Rehet Kaur Bhatia 8D And Is made with a lot of hardwork and Peace and it is not to copy . About the chapter The topic of Adolescence is one of the important concepts in science. It is very important to grasp every bit of this chapter as they are basics for all your future endeavours.
Life of every organism depends on certain basic processes. Excretion is one among them. Different organisms follow different modes of excretion. In complex organisms including humans, there is a specialized system for excretion called human excretory system.

Endocrine Glands. Explaination of different glands.Function of different glands and the disorders caused by the alterations in the level of hormone secreted by the different glands.
Endocrine System (Hormones in Animals/WBBSE))RanjanShaw5
ENDOCRINE SYSTEM : Endocrine system is the system formed by ductless glands which secrete chemical substances called as hormones. Endocrine glands release hormones directly into the blood.
Hormones are minute, chemical messengers thrown into blood to act on target organs.
Hormones can be steroids, proteins, peptides or amino acid derivatives.
These hormones act as on specific organs called target organ.
The target cell has on it surface or cytoplasm, a specific protein molecule called receptor.
The receptor can recognise and pick out the specific hormone capable of acting in cell.
The Indian economy is classified into different sectors to simplify the analysis and understanding of economic activities. For Class 10, it's essential to grasp the sectors of the Indian economy, understand their characteristics, and recognize their importance. This guide will provide detailed notes on the Sectors of the Indian Economy Class 10, using specific long-tail keywords to enhance comprehension.

Andreas Schleicher presents at the OECD webinar ‘Digital devices in schools: detrimental distraction or secret to success?’ on 27 May 2024. The presentation was based on findings from PISA 2022 results and the webinar helped launch the PISA in Focus ‘Managing screen time: How to protect and equip students against distraction’ https://www.oecd-ilibrary.org/education/managing-screen-time_7c225af4-en and the OECD Education Policy Perspective ‘Students, digital devices and success’ can be found here - https://oe.cd/il/5yV
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

2. Endocrine GlandsEndocrine Glands
A gland that secretes a substance (a
hormone) into the bloodstream. The
endocrine glands are "glands of
internal secretion." They include the
hypothalamus, pituitary gland, pineal
gland, thyroid, parathyroid glands,
heart which makes atrial-natriuretic
peptide, the stomach and intestines,
islets of Langerhans in the pancreas,
the adrenal glands, the kidney which
makes renin, and calcitriol, fat cells .
the testes, the ovarian follicle and the
corpus luteum in the ovary.
3. PancreasPancreas
The pancreas is a long flattened
gland located deep in the belly
abdomen. Because the pancreas
isn’t seen or felt in our day to day
lives, most people don't know as
much about the pancreas as they
do about other parts of their
bodies. The pancreas is, however,
a vital part of the digestive
system and a critical controller of
blood sugar levels.
4. TestisTestis
The male sex gland, located
behind the penis in a pouch of
skin called the scrotum. The
testes produce and store sperm
and are also the body's main
source of male hormones, such
as testosterone. These hormones
control the development of the
reproductive organs and other
male characteristics, such as
body and facial hair, low voice,
and wide shoulders. Also known
as testicle.
5. OvariesOvaries
The female gonad, one of a pair of
reproductive glands in women. The ovaries
are located in the pelvis, one on each side
of the uterus. Each ovary is about the size
and shape of an almond. The ovaries
produce eggs (ova) and female hormones.
During each monthly menstrual cycle, an
egg is released from one ovary. The egg
travels from the ovary through a fallopian
tube to the uterus. The ovaries are the
main source of female hormones, which
control the development of female body
characteristics, such as the breasts, body
shape, and body hair. They also regulate
the menstrual cycle.
6. AdrenalAdrenal
A small gland located on
top of the kidney. The
adrenal glands produce
hormones that help control
heart rate, blood pressure,
the way the body uses
food, the levels of
minerals such as sodium
and potassium in the blood,
and other functions
particularly involved in
stress reactions.
7. Pituitary GlandPituitary Gland
The main endocrine gland.
It is a small structure in
the head. It is called the
master gland because it
produces hormones that
control other glands and
many body functions
including growth. The
pituitary consists of the
anterior and posterior
pituitary.
8. ThyroidThyroid
A gland that makes and stores
hormones that help regulate
the heart rate, blood pressure,
body temperature, and the
rate at which food is converted
into energy. Thyroid hormones
are essential for the function
of every cell in the body. They
help regulate growth and the
rate of chemical reactions
metabolism in the body.
Thyroid hormones also help
children grow and develop.
