Title: Embedded real time clock based Industrial devices control system.
ABSTRACT:
As this project is based on industrial automation and require
power supply. So for this particular application we are using electricity board
power can be used for this industrial application. This project gives the best
solution for electrical energy wastage. Also the manual operation of the machinery
system is completely eliminated. This project developed by using PIC
microcontroller with interfacing DS1307 Real Time Clock chip with battery back-
up is used, there will be no disturbances for the programmed on/off timings even in
power failures. This system switches on the application only at preprogrammed
timings.
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
In this project proposed, industrial where operating as heavy machinery devices
and those are switched on at their own purpose time. Meantime i.e., from 1:30pm
to 2:30am is not required, because the workers flow on the place is almost nil in
this time. That means every day around one hours of power is wasted. The Project
PIC16F877A Microcontroller Based Energy saver for Commercial operating
system with RTC DS1307 Interfacing is an interesting project which uses
PIC16F877A microcontroller as its brain. This project is very useful for
commercial industrial application, lights for automation lighting system. Control
switch set is provided for entering the required timings. 2 X 16 display is provided
to display the alarm times and current time. DS1307 is interfaced to the
microcontroller for real timing performance. A 3V battery can be connected to
DS1307 to avoid time disturbances caused by power failures. PIC16F877A has
inbuilt flash EPROM. Data stored remains in the memory even after power failure,
as the memory ensures reading of the latest saved settings by the micro controller.
It can retain data for more than ten years.
