3. Which specific production tasks have you
enjoyed most this year?
• I mostly enjoyed making the music video and everything that came with it, I found
the filming and editing the most enjoyable for me as I really like the practical
part of filming and going out with my friends and just having fun and filming
everything we do. The editing process was also fun as it gave life the filming
and really allowed me to express my vision and aesthetics that I wanted.

4. What challenges have you faced this
year in your practical work?
• I found the writing work the most difficult as I find it hard to get the
motivation and drive to do it all but I also fond the animation task hard as it
was quite a lot to do and keep up with. The whole animation progress was also
tedious and hard as I had to repeat my flame and light flickers but with very
slight differences every time, but I also had to make them reflect properly and
look believable which made it progressively more difficult.

5. Which process do you think you have
made the most development in?
• I feel like my research development has gradually gotten better and has become
more full rather than feeling half empty sometimes. It’s a lot clearer also with
what I've been researching specifically an going into more detail on that
singular thing before moving on. My planning has also come along a bit better as
I've gone into recent projects with a bit more planning tan the last id say my
music video was defiantly m best for both planning and research as its closely
tied to me and I found it easier and more enjoyable to gather information on the
tings I like.

6. Which technical skill do you think is you
strongest?
• I feel that filming and editing are my strongest skills as I found it to be the
most naturally enjoyable and ae me more motivation to complete and try do my best
with the music video project. The filming was also easy but I enjoyed doing that
the most and I've had experience in the use before we did the music video but
also pressed it further after it and has allowed me to gain stronger skills in
this area along with editing as I've made multiple of my own music videos since.

7. What do you think has been your best
project and why?
• I think my music video has been my best project so far as I found it the most
enjoyable to make, film and edit it also gave me the most creative freedom and
allowed me to express parts of my vision and aesthetics through the video even
though my resources where limited. Having to use mostly filters added to what I
wanted the outcome to be like even if it wasn’t completely to the standard I was
to achieve later on it was a good introduction and start to it.

8. Which project did you enjoy least and
why?
• Mostly the foley tasks as I just didn’t find it very appealing, and I had had
quite a few issues with the audio and the audio recorder as it didn’t record the
correct things and the audio, we needed was mostly cut out which made it more
tedious and annoying as I had to workaround it by using small clips out of the
audio got to try imitate what I needed with some of it sounding good and others
could’ve been better but wit wat I had it was ok.

9. How have you managed your time
effectively this year?
• By using it fully and trying t fit as much in as I possibly can within the time
tat I had I definitely could’ve done it better though as I did need some extra
time on the recent animation project as I could’ve got a more fleshed out project
and added more animations, character designs, loops and maps and would’ve had a
greater impact on my work.

11. What roles/specialism do you see
yourself working in on future projects?
• I would like to specialise in cinematography and photography especially as I
really enjoy filming such as with the music video wee did I toughly enjoyed the
Whole process of filming it all, editing it and rendering etc and it felt like it
came naturally to me and was easy but also very fun and enjoyable as it allows me
to explore an express my vision in aesthetics, looks and film styles. With the
cinematography I've been exploring this myself outside of college and have found
the styles, aesthetics and looks that I really enjoy to do and look att.

12. What do you see yourself doing at the
end of the course next year?
• Most likely something to do with cinematography maybe a trailer for a movie,
music video or short film as I feel the most expressive in these fields as It
allows me to fully explore my creative freedom and have full control of it and
what I envision the outcome to be, it is also the most enjoyable for me as it
lets me express all the aesthetics, looks a and styles into my project and also
gives me the chance to do it wit fiends to which makes I more and easier to do
overall.

13. What research do you need to do in order to
explore your future progression options?
• Mostly more research in the area of cinematography and photography, id probably
do more research into different types of cameras as I really like the old vhs
look, all the way through to the new types of cameras so id do more research into
different types of cameras/ camcorders and the types of effects, outcomes and
styles they give off in the recording. Id also like to experiment with old
cameras and their styles especially with the night vision as that is something id
really like to experiment with.
