Concrete Maturity | Estimating the Real-Time Concrete StrengthAali R. Alizadeh
The strength monitoring of concrete in the job site is a critical step in the optimization of important operations such as formwork removal, opening traffic on the concrete pavement, post-tensioning, concrete curing, and application of load of concrete elements during construction.
Currently, field-cured cylindrical specimens or CIPPOC samples are cast on most of the job site and are tested in laboratory at various times to monitor strength. This is a relatively inefficient method as it provides delayed results and could be prone to errors as usually one field-cured specimen is tested.
To obtain real-time concrete strength results, a standardized alternative based on the maturity concept has been widely used in the concrete industry. According to the ASTM C1074, the temperature history of concrete is recorded after pouring and using a calibration curve, this information is used to estimate the strength of concrete on the job site.
In this presentation, the concept and measurement techniques of concrete maturity are discussed. You can also watch the video version of this presentation in the following link: http://www.giatecscientific.com/knowledge-center/concrete-news/video-what-is-concrete-maturity/
Packing density is new kind of mix design method used to design different types of concrete. To
optimize the particle packing density of concrete, the particles should be selected to fill up the voids between
large particles with smaller particles and so on, in order to obtain a dense and stiff particle structure.
Partial Replacement of Cement by Saw Dust Ash in Concrete A Sustainable ApproachIJERD Editor
Concrete industry is one of the largest consumers of natural resources due to which sustainability of concrete industry is under threat. The environmental and economic concern is the biggest challenge concrete industry is facing. In this paper, the issues of environmental and economic concern are addressed by the use of saw dust ash as partial replacement of cement in concrete. Cement was replaced by Saw Dust Ash as 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% by weight for M-25 mix. The concrete specimens were tested for compressive strength, durability (water absorption) and density at 28 days of age and the results obtained were compared with those of normal concrete. The results concluded the permissibility of using Saw Dust Ash as partial replacement of cement up to 10% by weight for particle size of range 90micron.

The Effect of Local Brewery Waste and Bitter Cassava Flour on Compressive Str...inventionjournals
Cement is a major construction material worldwide. However, given the escalating costs of cement and the environmental hazards associated with the use of cement there is need to develop alternative, costeffective, non-conventional, locally available materials, especially those that can partially or wholly replace cement. This paper presents the results on the study of the effect of local brewery waste and bitter cassava flour on the compressive strength and shrinkage of plaster. The test was made with cement replaced by local brewery waste or bitter cassava (10-50%) and cement/sand mix as a control. The results showed an optimum of 20% cement replacement with bitter cassava for plaster mortar for high cost houses (18.1Mpa) and 10% cement replacement with local brewery waste for plaster mortar for low cost houses (2.1Mpa). Result show a maximum shrinkage of 8mm at 50% replacement with bitter cassava and zero shrinkage for 50% replacement with local brewery waste. Furthermore only the control, 40% and 50% with bitter cassava flour showed cracks of about 2mm for mix ratio 1:3 and 1:4.

Comparative Study on Fly Ash Bricks and Conventional Clay BricksBhagyashreeNagpure2
Fly ash bricks are well known bricks. Fly ash bricks are slow but surely replacingconventional clay bricks for wall construction. It is green and environmental friendlymaterial.Fly ash brick is real good option against clay brick. The fly ash bricksarecomparatively lighter in weight and stronger and less costly than common clay brick. This paper represents the comparison of fly ash bricks and clay bricks. The outcome of this paper found to be the compressive strength of fly ash bricks are more than the clay bricks and fly ash bricks absorb less water than clay bricks that means dampness is more in clay bricks. So,we conclude that the fly ash bricks is better than clay bricks for construction purpose.
Experimental study on Use of Waste Glass as admixture in ConcreteIJSRD
Glass is utilized as a part of numerous structures in everyday life. It has restricted life and after use it is either stock heaped or sent to landfills. Since glass is non-biodegradable, landfills don't give a situation well-disposed arrangement. Thus, there is solid need to use waste glasses. Many efforts has already been made in concrete engineering as a partial replacement of cement or fine aggregate or coarse aggregate. In this experiment we use waste glass powder as a partial replacement of cement and a comparative study has been made with other admixture such as fly ash and silica fume. A series of test were conducted with partial replacement of glass by 15% and 30% to weight of cement where as we have used only 15% of partial replacement in case of fly ash and silica fume just to compare the results with glass at 15% and 30%. The present study demonstrates that waste glass, if ground finer than 100µm demonstrates a pozzolanic conduct. It responds with lime at early time phase of hydration forming extra CSH gel along these lines shaping denser bond matrix. The early utilization of alkalis by glass particles moderate alkali silica reaction consequently expands durability of cement.
Partial Replacement of Cement to Concrete by Marble Dust PowderIJMTST Journal
Leaving the waste materials to the environment directly can cause environmental problem. Hence the reuse of waste material has been emphasized. Partial replacement of cement by varying percentage of marble dust Powder powder reveals that increased waste marble dust powder ratio result in increased workability and compressive strengths of the concrete Marble Dust Powder is settled by sedimentation and then dumped away, which results in environmental contamination, in addition to forming dust in summer and threatening both agriculture and public wellness.. In this research work, Marble Dust Powder has replaced the (OPC & PPC) cement accordingly in the reach of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% 20%, & 25% by weight of M-20 grade concrete. Concrete mixtures were developed, tested and compared in terms of compressive strength to the conventional concrete. The purpose of the investigation is to analyze the behavior of concrete while replacing the Marble Dust Powder with Different proportions in concrete.

It is now-a-days very important for the people to send or receive articles like imported furniture, electronic items, gifts, business goods and the like. People depend vastly on different transport systems which mostly use the manual way of receiving and delivering the articles. There is no way to track the articles till they are received and there is no way to let the customer know what happened in transit, once he booked some articles. In such a situation, we need a system which completely computerizes the cargo activities including time to time tracking of the articles sent. This need is fulfilled by Courier Management System software which is online software for the cargo management people that enables them to receive the goods from a source and send them to a required destination and track their status from time to time.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

3. Abstract
In the world, concrete is material which is produced more than any other man made
material. Due to the increasing of population in the world, a waste material also
increases. In those waste materials many are non- degradable materials, they make
hazards to the environment . So , that usage of non degradable waste [1] in concrete
will be safe for disposal. This project will give the ideas, experimental analysis of the
partial replacement of e-waste and surrki (Coarse Aggregates) and partial
replacement of waste glass powder and sawdust (Fine aggregates). on the
concrete mix. Desired properties of concrete such as strength, specific gravity ,
workability ,durability , can also achieved by adding above materials in the concrete.
A number of laboratory tests were carried out.
These tests included workability, unit weight, compressive strength The main findings
of this investigation revealed that the four types of waste materials could be used as
partial substitutes for sand or coarse aggregates in concrete mixtures.
Keywords : Powder of Waste Glass, Coarse Aggregate-Partial Replacement, Fine
Aggregate, Compression Test ,.
4. INTRODUCTION
Concrete is widely used in all constructions like
architectural structures , foundations , bridges, runways , dams. Its
usage in construction has been increased rapidly from time to time
. Concrete owes its unique position as the structural member .
In order to use some of the waste materials are
used i.e., some of the wastes are partial replacement of fine and
coarse aggregates. Cement commonly used as Portland cement
and E-wastes , glass powder , brick pieces and saw dust those
wastes are used to make concrete .
And test the concrete of its durability ,
strength, binding based on the compressive strength test.

8. Collection of Materials
We Collect a all type of materials are required for Concrete.
E – Waste are made to small pieces.
And collect a cement , fine aggregates and coarse
aggregates.
Batching :-
The quantities of cement , F.A , C.A , and Water fro each
batch are measured by weighing balance of an accuracy
of 5 gm.
9. Workability Tests
Slump cone test :-
Slump cone test is commonly used for measuring the consistency of
concrete which can be employed either in laboratory or site work , By using
slump come apparatus.
The mold is cleaned and placed in a smooth , rigid surface and the height
is filled with four layers and each layers gives 25 blows .
It gives the condition of the mixed concrete proportion…
Compaction factor test :-
Compaction factor measures the workability in an indirect manner by
determining the degree of compaction.
The sample of concrete is placed in the upper hopper to the drim.
The trap door is released and the lower is allowed to fall on the cylinder ,
then it is fully compacted and weighed separately .
The ratio of weight of fully compacted to the weight of partly compacted
concrete gives the compaction value…

By using all materials in which 2.5 % , 5% ,10% of
waste materials are used for making of 3 different
percentages
of concrete.
12. Casting
The molds are kept ready of dimensions are
15*15*15cm before preparing and mixing. Molds are cleaned and
oiled an oil contact surfaces then fixed with screws.
The concrete is filled into the molds in which
each layer is equally distributed in a uniform layer. Each layer gives
25 strokes by using tampering rod , at top of the concrete makes a
smooth surface.
After 24 hours the specimens or concrete
cubes are removed by the molds.
15. Curing
The concrete cubes are kept in a
water for testing purpose. The concrete cube is tested of
7 , 14 , 21 ,and 28 days .
16. Determine the compressive
strength
By using the compression testing
machine or universal testing machine to determine the
compressive strength of specimens .
The compressive strength of the
specimen shall be calculate by the maximum load applied
in the specimen during the test by the cross-section area
Compressive =
𝑀𝑎𝑥𝑖𝑚𝑢𝑚 𝑙𝑜𝑎𝑑
𝐴𝑟𝑒𝑎
17. Conclusions
The compressive strength of the
specimen is verified with the original compressive
strength of specimen without using waste materials.
After that we conclude an idea on
the project i.e., it is successful or failure project.
