Getting To Yes Summary
Getting to Yes: Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In Getting to Yes: Negotiating Agreement
Without Giving In by Roger Fisher, William Ury, and Bruce Patton was created to educate readers
how to become better at analyzing and approaching negotiations as well as become better negotiators.
When approaching a negotiation the four principles that should be looked at are: People, Interests,
Options, and Criteria. It is encouraged that all four of these principles be used before, during, and after
a negotiation. Analysis, planning, and discussion are considered the three phases of the negotiation
process. The first of Fisher and Ury s principles is to separate the people from the issues. People tend
to prematurely take positions on a matter

News Media Bias Case Study
Objectivity has become a defining component of the news media. Although this request is quite
precarious given the business model of companies that disseminate news, objectivity remains a
professional standard of journalism and reporting that the public is highly aware of. Identifying and
analyzing media bias is an extremely complex task that not many people engage in. The public often
criticizes the news media for trying to advance certain viewpoints or being advocates of political
positions. In other words, many people wish the news media was less biased and more objective.
Evaluating four news sources, CBS This Morning, ABC7 News, NBC News, and CNN on their
coverage of the implementation of a curfew in Baltimore following the Baltimore protests, ... Show

Perhaps the chosen topic didn t elicit itself to ideological stances as a topic regarding a 2016
presidential candidate would have. Regardless of ideological bias, certain news frames were present
that helped to categorize protesters as either overwhelmingly violent or peaceful. While each news
source mentioned the looting and violence that erupted directly after Gray s funeral on Monday, only
two sources focused on the peaceful protests that occurred on Tuesday. The curfew was interpreted as
a conflict and standoff by ABC7 News and CNN News, but also as an event with minor dissidence by
CBS This Morning and NBC News. The coverage of the Baltimore curfew varied in its sensationalism
of conflict and violence, but not ideologically. Why do so many Americans believe that their news
sources contain ideological bias? As mentioned in the explanation of President Obama s quote in the
analysis of the CNN News article, studies of hostile media effect have found that individuals who
have strong opinions about an issue or close ties to a social group (i.e., partisans) that is the focus of a
controversy will be highly unlikely to perceive any story about that issue or group as credible (Arpan
Peterson 311). While this was not the case with ideological bias in these four news sources, the

Competitive Strategic Approaches used by Starbuck Essay
Starbucks Case
Each company has what sets it apart from other companies in the same industry. This ideology
excludes not Starbuck. Starbuck has a history and right from its inception, the founders wanted
something that would offer fine coffee to the society that settled in Seattle. This has all along been the
case. To accentuate this phenomenon, there was a time Howard Schultz had to travel to Italy to
explore more of the Italian coffee tastes offered in Italy coffee bars and come back to customize the
same in America. Unfortunately, upon his return he resigned from Starbuck and formed his own
company. However, a few years after he formed his company, Starbuck went on sale and this led
Howard Schultz and other investors to mobilize ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Starbucks believes that its clients needs, or rather preferences, are diverse and if it has to make a
difference from the standard products their competitors are offering, then it has to diverse the products
and the services offered. In ensuring that this is happening, Starbucks offer diverse products and
ensures too that the methods it uses to distribute these different products is also diverse. Note it has
successively served airlines, hotels learning institutions, select retailers and many more diverse
customers. Much focus is given on how every customer is served as this keeps them coming back.
This is something Howard Schultz himself had to get down into it and thus he taught his employees on
how to be friendly to the customers. The employees friendliness established an emotional attachment
with the clients; something that was achieved through employee trainings.
Differentiation demands that every product be great and unique on its own way. In making this
strategy work best for the company, Starbucks commits itself into training all its stakeholders so that
the product s quality is improved indefinitely. At Starbuck you do not just take coffee but also the
value of what you buy is improved by other auxiliary services they offer like accessing Wi Fi and paid
sites.
Starbucks social Responsibility
Like other responsible companies, Starbucks also takes part in social responsibility activities.

Abstract
In the present work AISI 316L stainless steel samples have been welded by MIG welding. Butt joints
have been made. Plate thickness is kept constant (= 3mm). Some important parameters have been
varied during welding. Thus several butt welded joints have been made. Each sample of the joints has
been prepared under certain combination of welding parameters. The parameters considered for
variation, in the present work have been welding current, gas flow rate and nozzle to plate distance.
The design of experiment has been done using L9 Taguchi design of experiment. The influence of the
process parameters (mainly current, gas flow rate and nozzle to plate distance) has been examined
visually and also through X ray radiographic tests. Next, samples have been cut, machined to conform
to some specified dimensions for tensile testing. The quality of the weld has been evaluated in terms
of ultimate strength, yield strength and percentage of elongation of the

Designing A Scalable Workload Management System
2.4.1 Neutron Overview
Without including any network specific functionality, it would be possible to develop a scalable
workload management system. While the connectivity between compute nodes is required and also for
the external access, it is important to have network specific functionality, but it would be possible to
benefit from the existing networking infrastructure to allocate IP addresses and relay data between
nodes. However, the main problem with such an approach is the network management system would
not be able to separate traffic between users securely and efficiently when there will be a multitenant
environment[13]. Neutron is a part of OpenStack project focused on delivering networking as a
service and manages the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A simple model of virtual network, subnet, and port abstractions to define network resources are the
base for creating OpenStack Networking component. Similar to a VLAN in the physical networking
world, network in OpenStack is an isolated layer 2 segment. Subnet is a block of IP version 4 or
version 6 addresses, set as an address pool from which OpenStack can assign IP addresses to virtual
machines (VMs). Each subnet is stated as a Classless Inter Domain Routing range[13].
2.4.2 Neutron Architecture
The main process of the openstack networking component is neutron server, which transmit user
requests from OpenStack Networking API to the configured plug in. There are three agents that
interact with the main neutron process though the message queue or the OpenStack Networking
API[9]:
Neutron dhcp agent: The main function of this agent is to provide Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol (DHCP) service to all tenant networks[9].
Neutron l3 agent: The main function of this agent is to translate and forward Layer3/Networking
address to enable external network access for VMs on the tenant networks[9].
Neutron * agent: This is an optional plug in agent, which is responsible of performing local virtual
switch configuration on each hypervisor[9].
When Nova launches a VM instance, the service communicates with OpenStack Networking in order
to plug each virtual network interface into a particular port.

The Impact Of Hate Crimes In America
Over the years, America has been prone to this violent act of hate crime that puts its citizens in a
situation of distressed and confusion. Hate crimes have been a part of America s history and culture
for decades. Because America is a diverse country, the level of hate crimes is outrageous in many
different levels due to different cultures, ethnicities, skin colors, and religions. Hate crime is a serious
act and has influenced our society today to look at certain people a different way. It is not an act that
people are born with rather than they are taught by it or it was inherited within a particular social
group. With the election of President Trump in 2016, hate crime activities have really increased in just
a year s matter. President Donald Trump plays a role in really highlighting these hate crimes and
almost making it seem like he is promoting hate crimes though many of his speeches and statements.
Of the many factors that contribute to the highly increasing hate crime activities, there are four factors
that I believe are contributing to the increasing hate crime activities. Those four factors are thrill
seeking, retaliation, mission offenders, and the income inequality. These factors all have a part into
why hate crime activities are increasing over the year. There are many different hate crimes in
America. Hate crimes are considered as criminal offenses and depending on which state this criminal
offense has been committed, they have their own laws to rule over it. According to Jack Leven and
Jack McDevitt, in their article Hate Crimes, they explained, ..the vast majority of hate crime laws do
not criminalize any new behavior; instead, they increase the penalty for behaviors that are already
against the law (Leven McDevitt, 2011). This is something that has been reviewed and updated over
the years. As many new behaviors to hate crime activity surface, those crimes will eventually fall
under some old laws but the penalty of it will eventually increase. This hate crime activity includes
any acts that involve with any negative attitudes or prejudice toward anyone because of their race,
religion, ethnicity, or gender. It often leads to people being bias and showing a tremendous amount of
hatred

The USA Patriot Act (FISA)
In the entire span of the United States history, the commitment of the protection of Americans civil
liberties have frequently been tested and strained. The biggest breach of national security was on
September 11, 2001 which ended in the compromise of the trust of American people because they had
felt lied to and vulnerable all because of a broken pact and a failure to protect America with an agency
founded to prevent such a catastrophe. After these acts of terror Congress felt they needed to do better
and step up their game, they decided it was time to act so just one vote short of unanimous bipartisan
support, they passed the USA Patriot Act. The measure gave law enforcement officials sweeping new
powers to conduct searches without warrants, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) already permitted the administration
to wiretap on an emergency basis and apply for warrants retroactively, the administration maintained
that FISA was too cumbersome when urgent issues of national security were at stake. Attorney
General Alberto Gonzales offered two justifications for the legality of the domestic spying program,
asserting that the president had the inherent authority under the Constitution, as commander in chief,
to engage in this kind of activity and that Congress, when it authorize[d] the president to use all
necessary and appropriate force against al Qaeda in 2001, indirectly sanctioned it. Critics objected that
the wiretapping infringed on civil liberties, sidestepped the legislative branch, and placed the president
above the law. In August 2006, a federal judge in Detroit ruled the wiretapping program
unconstitutional. However, in July 2008, Congress passed a bill overhauling the Foreign Intelligence
Surveillance Act effectively legalizing Bush s secret program. The new law gave legal immunity to the
telephone companies that participated in the NSA secret wiretapping program after the Sept. 11, 2001,
terrorist attacks and broadened the government s ability to eavesdrop on those in the U.S. and abroad

The Bacteria Escherichia Coli ( E. Coli )
Question 1
In the past scientist have used the bacteria Escherichia coli (E. coli) in Synthetic Biology to allow the
bacterial species to recognise and respond to light frequencies providing greater knowledge of
complex biological systems (Levskaya et al. 2005). E. coli is a suitable chassis to express Green
Fluorescent Protein (GFP) as the bacteria s plasmid helps to establish GFP (Chavshin et al. 2013). The
bacterial plasmid is a maltose binding protein that helps E. coli and GFP fuse together and allows for
detection of gene expression and controlling internal environments (Feilmeier et al. 2000). As GFP is
a useful biological indicator due to its fluorescent structure (Mazzola et al. 2005) and through the
ability of E. coli responding to light, GFP is easily expressed through the process of light stimulation
(Lee, J et al. 2013). Through the unique structure and functions found within E. coli, it allows for
successful expression of GFP making E. coli a suitable base organism.
Question 2
Jellyfish (Aequorea victoria) naturally produce GFP (Zupen et al. 2004) allowing for extraction of the
organisms genes and protein to engineer a bacteria that can produce GFP. Scientists are able to blind a
bacterial species for example E. coli with GFP by cloning the genes found within jellyfish that
produce Green Florescent Protein and insert it into a chosen bacterial species (Zupen et al. 2004).
Through the expression of the GFP gene in other organisms, synthetic biology can be

Road Is All
Willa Cather once said, The end is nothing, the road is all. I think this quote means that the journey is
all that matters, not the destination. I strongly agree with this opinion. It brings people closer together,
creates wonderful memories, and also creates a strong bond between you and other people. Though
the destination is what everyone really wants, the journey and the company are just as important as
well. Once you get to the end, what happens next? It is just simply the end. People could cherish the
moments that the road in the destination gives you.
To me this quote means that the road is all because it brings people closer together. When I lived in
California, my family and I went on a road trip to Oklahoma, Georgia, North Carolina, and Minnesota
to visit family members. The travel was actually really fun. The quote relates to this situation because
the journey to all four states were what brought us together and created fun. Even though all of us
were dying to finally get to our destination; especially because we were traveling by car, we soon
realized that it wasn t so bad after all. We saw lots of different things, talked more to each other, ...

On our way to Georgia, we had gotten stopped by a policeman. Even though not all memories of our
journey is good but it still builds memory that we will all soon laugh at later in life. Even though it
was a serious matter, after the cop let us go, my family actually made some jokes about it. These parts
of the journey are what makes it adventurous and exciting. This time, we spent about 15 hours in the
car together. Yet, surprisingly, we all had a great time again. We all laughed, sung songs, and took silly
pictures of each other sleeping. The journey to Georgia was another success. Without realizing it at all,
we were all socializing more with each other than we usually do at

Even though her and Make never married, she still felt obligated to stay with him because she felt as if

women in Amsterdam, and she wouldn t be betraying the whole struggle... [In addition], Guy would

wife to Make. While there, she also accepts a position as assistant editor at the Arab Observer. On a
regular basis, Vusumzi Make shows that he has romantic interests other than Angelou from his
perfume wrenched and lipstick stained clothing. Angelou never confronted Make and she also hid that
her love for him has evaporated (Angelou 235). Maya Angelou eventually decides to leave Vusumzi

Beowulf Heroic Qualities
Beowulf, the hero of the epic Beowulf, was a great king and leader, from youth to his declining years.
He displays his heroism in three separate conflicts, which take place in two different phases of his life.
Despite these challenging tasks, Beowulf exhibits unique heroic qualities throughout his youth and
declining years that make him a great king and leader of the Geats. Since his youth as a great warrior
lasts so long, the epic portrays Beowulf in three different feats of strength and courage. His first feat
was in his swimming match with Breca. Unferth, jealous of Beowulf s popularity with his fellow
Danes, brings up Beowulf s loss in a swimming match to Breca. Unferth states that Beowulf will face
defeat against Grendel once again as no one has ever outlasted an entire night against Grendel. (37)
Beowulf replies that he lost the swimming match against Breca because he was interrupted by the sea
beasts. He was swimming shoulder to shoulder... for five nights (37) with Breca but landed on the
coast of Finland later than Breca because he had to slay nine sea monsters when he got pulled down.
He mocks Unferth afterwards, saying that Unferth or Breca would both be unable to protect
themselves against the sea monsters. Beowulf s second great feat was mortally wounding Grendel.
The Danes were scared from the terror and murder that Grendel had inflicted on them. Beowulf, with
a confident persona, waits and grabs Grendel harder than anything he had ever encountered in any

World War I And The United States Essay
World War I was unlike any other war before it. The total casualties reached about about 38 million,
with over 17 million deaths, 7 million of them being civilians, and 20 million wounded. World War I
was well known for the extensive system of trenches from which men of both sides fought, the lethal
new technologies unleashed such as poison gas, and for the battles under the sea and in the skies. At
first, the two sides consisted of the Allies: France, Britain, and Russia, against the Central Powers:
Germany, Austria Hungary, and Turkey. As the war carried on however, the tides turned towards the
Central Powers. Needing help, the Allies turned towards America for assistance. The United States
however, were very reluctant at first, sticking to their public policies. Trading with both sides of the
belligerents, the United States did not want to halt their booming economy, and the large number of
protests by immigrant citizens made joining the war even less desirable. It was only after Britain s
decision to blockade Germany, Germany s announcement to resume unrestricted submarine warfare,
and the British discovery of the Zimmerman Telegram that the United States finally decided to join the
war. When World War I began, The United States made it clear that they didn t want to be involved in
the war, and maintained their neutrality. Isolationism was a long American tradition, embraced since
the earliest days of the country. In fact, during the century following the signing

Income Statement An income statement is a financial statement that measures a company s financial
performance over a specific accounting period. Financial performance is assessed by giving a
summary of how the business incurs its revenues and expenses through both operating and non
operating activities. The purpose of the income statement is to show managers and investors whether
the company made or lost money during the period being reported. From the income statement we can
do a ratio analysis of the company. Below are ratios relevant to Coca Cola.
Ratio Analysis
The price to earnings share ratio is a valuation ratio of a company s current share price compared to its
per share earnings. For example, if a company is currently trading at $43 a share and earnings over the
last 12 months were $1.95 per share, the P/E ratio for the stock would be 22.05 ($43/$1.95).
(Investopedia, 2011)

Analysis Of One Flew Over The Cuckoo s Nest By Ken Kesey
Sigmund Freud was someone who turned clinical psychology on its head; therefore, it only makes
sense that he would be an inspiration for someone who completely redefined literature. In the novel
One Flew Over the Cuckoo s Nest author Ken Kesey weaves an intricate, while subtextual, theme that
mirrors concepts of Freudian psychology. About a decade after publication, in her article Kesey and
Freud, former Northeastern University professor Ruth Sullivan analyzes the progression and impact of
Kesey s use of Freudian psychology, most specifically, Kesey s use of Freud s Oedipus Complex as it
pertains to the characters Nurse Ratched, R.P. McMurphy, and Chief Bromden. While it is true that
McMurphy and Bromden represent the typical Freudian father son ... Show more content on

According to an article titled The Oedipal Crisis, the main stages of the Oedipal Complex that deals
with a mother are that, the first love object for [the son] is the mother, the young boy is threatened by
the father s relationship with his mother, and the father is perceived as an enemy.
(http://www.changingstates.co.uk/freud.html). Nurse Ratched never fulfills any of those roles; in fact,
she is seen as the clear enemy the whole entire book. The enemy is never McMurphy; instead, Nurse
Ratched is described as the root of all the trouble here (Kesey, 185). Ratched and McMurphy s
relationship is not sexual and the men on the ward are never envious of McMurphy for his relationship
with Nurse Ratched. Instead, Nurse Ratched is seen as a woman who McMurphy describes as a ball
cutter (Kesey, 60) Nurse Ratched is not someone who is seen as appealing or attractive or warm like a
Freudian mother, rather, she is a woman that makes a man powerless and asexual. Freud s Oedipal
triangle is clearly missing one point because the Big Nurse does not fulfill the concept of a Freudian
mother. That is where Sullivan s analysis falls

Foundationalism In William Shakespear s Much Ado About...
The word Foundationalism was given a clear definition by Descartes, meaning someone looking for a
clear and certain foundation. There is a way to accomplish this task, meaning order to find or build a
foundation or a base that is certain, one must first destroy everything one believes to know start from
the very beginning. The goal is to find things that are absolute indubitable , meaning it is 100 percent
certain or it can not under any circumstances be doubted (Descartes 13). The play Much ado about
nothing written by William Shakespear would not be the first thing that comes to mind when
considering anything being indubitable. It is entails clear social and gender issues of its time. With this
essay, I wish to point out how the men boast themselves in so much honor and masculinity, that they
are easily blinded by a simple lie. So simple in fact, that it took an entire plot built on Hero s death to

need to lie and deceive once more to prove Hero s innocence. This is important, because women are
still judged more harshly for being involved with a man before marriage, or having multiple partners.
While men can marry after being known to be very far from celibacy themselves, but wish to have a
virgin or a woman with fewer and closer to zero sexual partners. This misogynistic double standard
was carried into the movie by Kenneth Branagh. In this case, first I would like to look

Wherever Son Jara and family go, they are thrown out. They go to the nine Queens of Darkness,
which include Nakana Taliba.
Dankaran Tuman becomes Manding king; he tries to placate a powerful enemy, Sulu king Sumamuru
(who becomes chief antagonist for Son Jara) by sending his first born daughter, Caress of Hot Fire to
be one of Sumamuru s wives. Also, Tuman sends Doka the Cat, who had been Son Jara s personal
bard, to Sumamuru to placate him. Susu Mountain Sumamuru is often referred to as wearing pants and
coat of human skin (to show his fierceness). Sumamuru asks Doka the Cat to serve him but is refused,
so he cuts the Achilles tendons on the bard and forces him into service. Then Sumamuru goes to war
with Tuman, who loses and flees into exile. Sumamuru devastates the Manding kingdom ( put gourds
in the mouths of all), then sends two messengers Kankira of Silver and Kankira of Gold and a red bull
to the nine Queens of Darkness as a bribe for them to kill Son Jara. Nakana Tililba warns Son Jara of
the bribe. He turns himself into a lion, nabs nine water buffalos as gifts for the nine witches.
Impressed that he gives nine buffalo and Sumamuru gave only one red bull, the witches stack the
pieces of the red bull into one pile and make it live again, then give it to the two Kankira messengers
to return to Susu king Sumamuru.

Little Skate Application Essay
The Little Skate, Leucoraja erinacea, is a species of skate in the family Rajidae. They re also
somewhat populous in Rhode Island s Narragansett Bay, which surrounds the island I call home. The
skate population has been increasing in numbers since 1970 and is now one of the predominant
animals in bottom fish communities. But marine education hasn t expanded along with the skate
population, and now, more often than not, they are mistaken for stingrays. I see this firsthand at the
Save the Bay Exploration Center and Aquarium where I volunteer kids and their parents alike confuse
them with their larger cousins. Every weekend, I spend several hours observing these beautiful,
underappreciated, often mislabeled creatures. And each time I see a child shrink away from a skate out
of fear that it is a stinging ray, I m given the opportunity to teach someone about the marine ecosystem
in their own town, in hope that they ll want to help protect it. My job as a volunteer aquarium docent
is to instill a passion about preserving our oceans by teaching visitors about what lives inside of them.

why I spend my Saturdays teaching five year olds about skates and hermit crabs. In hope that they will

The Culture Of Asian American And Being Labeled As An Ethnic
Preface
In this essay, I attempted to lay bare the issues of being an Asian American and being labeled as an
ethnic other in modern America. This label of other causes them to become marginalized and lose
their sense of identity, belonging neither to Western culture nor Eastern culture. In order help stop this
loss of identity in Asian Americans, we must tear down the social construct of the other and integrate
the different cultures into the melting pot of popular culture. Once we have stopped alienating
different cultures, we can then have a moral society that upholds diversity and identity.
The Struggles of the Other
The apparent dominance of White Europeans in America results in a common set of values, beliefs,
and norms that are endorsed by Whites, leading to an America whose vision is filtered through the
lens of the White European perspective. This established vision and power creates the social construct
of the ethnic other. As an ethnic other in America, my analysis incorporates my personal experiences
and the experiences of those around me. In a nation that has a population so diverse in personal and
collective identities, problems regarding morality and culture can arise. In the America of the past and
present, the norm by which all are measured against is that of a heterosexual White European. This
norm creates a conflict with the marginalized groups who wish to gain acceptance by and into the
dominant culture, but are not allowed to do so due to their

Crisis Management Examples
Crisis Management Crisis management is the management of operations during the actual crisis (in
the midst of the event) and the management of the business before, during, and after the crisis. Most
crises require management from the outside in and the inside out by the management team (Nykiel,
2005). A crisis whether internal and or external can occur at any moment in a hospitality industry. For
example internal crisis in the hospitality industry include a breakout of a food borne illness in a
restaurant, infestation of rodents in a hotel and an outbreak of the flu on a cruise line (L. Pullium,
personal communication, September 11, 2008). Some examples of external crisis are terrorism,

Brazil banned imports of Xia goods from China because there was allegations and unconfirmed
speculation pertaining to China s use of hazardous materials (for example, lead paint and potentially
carcinogenic plastic and rubbers) to manufacture toys cheaply, which sparked consumer panic around

Answer: The Chinese government would reduce or eliminate the quotas and other measures which
until now have protected domestic production of soybeans from cheaper imports. China s
consumption of soybeans ballooned by more than 160% between 2000 and 2011 when import barriers
were removed, but the area planted with soybeans declined by 20% during those same years. Chinese
farmers were simply unable to compete with imported soybeans that were RMB 300 to 600 (US$45
90) cheaper per ton than domestic beans. Imported soybeans now account for three quarters of the
soybeans processed into cooking oil and feed in China, the products of soybean crushing. If China is
able to prove that domestic soybean producers are not able to survive because of low cost imports
from Brazil, the WTO ruling would be in favor of China and such measures would be upheld.
However, if such measures were used as retaliation to Brazilian ban on Chinese toys, the WTO ruling
would be in favor of Brazil and China would not be able to restrict import of Soybean from Brazil.

willingness to share secrets as long as they stay anonymous. In today s world where we are constantly

So what is privacy? Privacy is the ability to keep certain things to yourself, to not be observed nor
disturbed. People s developing need for privacy has been noted through history, and as Peter Singer
states, privacy is viewed quite possibly as a status symbol, since an impoverished peasant could not
afford a house with separate rooms (463). An example would be how the Government of the United
States created the NSA in order to try spy and keep tabs on its citizens privately without them
noticing, which was working up until Julian Assange revealed hundreds of thousands of classified files
which exposed corruption from all over the world including the government s secret data collection
project also known as the NSA. The leaking of these files brought on a new type of surveillance
known as inverse surveillance, or as Steve Mann ( professor of computer engineering) calls it,
sousveillance . Inverse surveillance is meant to keep tabs on the government and expose abuse of

Tension In Benito Cereno
In the novella Benito Cereno, Herman Melville builds tension between the american captain Delano
and the Spanish Captain, who Delano had sought out to help. Captain Delano, while doubtful at times
wasn t sure how trustworthy Cereno was, creating tension between them when Cereno would act odd.
He wasn t sure if Cereno was masquerading as a pirate, but his generous nature would reassure him
that he was silly to have such doubts. Due to Cereno s though being presented to the audience in
narrative form Melville made us detract from what the slaves were doing because there actions were
simply described without much thought and speculation. As a result, at first take the audience didn t
pay attention to the free roaming slaves and had believed that Cereno had allowed them to do
whatever they had liked, as odd as it had seem to Delano. The whole setup of deceit was a ruse from
the beginning, used to fool Delano and the audience the moment he had set foot. The author had used
subtle details from the start of the book, to make the audience feel at unease but we weren t sure why.
This tension, unease, and shock ending is what makes the Novella genre distinct and a novella.
The Line By his side stood a black of small stature, in whose rude face, as occasionally, like a
shepherd s dog, he mutely turned it up into exemplifies the web of deceit the greatest in the novella.

When Diving Into A Book Or A Piece Of Literature...
When diving into a book or a piece of literature structured like this one must keep an open mind to the
points of view they will encounter. This may not be the average book, for example it is different than
the other literary works that are often discussed in the classroom. Even though it is not a story like a
fairy tale is, this type of book is still enjoyable and easy to discuss. However, there is a huge amount
of opinions in the text of its pages. Even so, if one sticks to knowing that they are just opinions and
not fact it gives less a reason to get confused and can make this a more enjoyable read. It is not all
about the structure of the book but more of the main thoughts it s author is trying to convey through it
s text. There are a lot of things someone could point out while reading this book. One of the best ones
to focus on though would be found in the first chapter. It starts out talking about how serious West
Point is when building their leaders. A good thing about the start of this chapter is after the author
makes the point of how serious West Point is about their leaders he then gives a very interesting
phrase to get the whole point across the readers mind. The phrase or statement is, Leader of character ,

Immune System Evolution
1.The topic being addressed in this article is the high improbability that our immune systems have
evolved over time. All multicellular organisms have extremely complex immune systems. None of
which are the same from one specie to the next. Even though these immune systems are different they
all are remarkably efficient in dealing with pathogens.
2. Antibodies are Y shaped gamma globulin proteins found in the blood or lymph tissue. They are
made by B cells as an immune defense against foreign antigens. Each antibody binds to a specific
antigen. A Genome is a set of DNA. An Antigen is a foreign molecule which triggers the production of
antibodies by the immune system. Every human has an Adaptive Immune System and an Innate

The author argues that the complex processes used to produce antibody diversity and then create
adaptive immune responses are not evidence of evolution but rather of intelligent design.
Immune system diversity and evolution can be refuted by the fact that even in the primitive jawed
vertebrates the immune system is very similar to that system used in advanced mammals.
7. I think the author makes a valid point because of the vast differences in immune systems from
animal to animal proves that that are immune systems have not evolved over the years. The author
also points out that many unique and dynamic immune mechanism exist among many different types
of vertebrates. Recent research further proves his argument by showing that innate immune systems
formerly thought to be very primitive are far more complex than once believed.
8. I agree with the author that it is impossible our immune system have evolved from other mammals.
If they had we would more than likely have the same structure as other mammals, but as evidenced in
the article we do not. We do however share similar functions such as an immune system protein that
helps us defend against bacteria. This immune protein is also found in sea urchins. This sea urchin s
protein is described as hardier then ours but still has the same basic functioning system further proving
that when God created us, he may not have had the same design but operated in a way that kept things

A Sound County Almanac Summary
Aldo Leopold published a book in 1949, titled A Sound County Almanac. In the second half of his

the boundaries of the community to include soils, waters, plants, and animals, or collectively: the land.
(239) Land ethics is a simple concept with a large amount of complexity because it is arduous to
incorporate every community member s thoughts and beliefs on how to steward the land. In class we

Rational ========
Every child goes through the same education system, every child works through the same curriculum
2000 set by New Labour and every child sits the same exams up to the age of 16. So why are there
marked differences in educational attainment for ethnic minority students?
My main aim is to find out if racism is the main cause of the gap between different ethnic groups in
education, which can lead to some ethnic minority groups being over represented in low status, low
paid jobs.
My investigation will look at the different explanations that sociologists have used over the years to

Yet I can do a comparison with the rest of Britain by using other sociologist research on the topic, and
see how much mine and theirs vary.
I have picked this topic because I feel that education underachievement is a major problem and so is
institutional racism. This issue has gained more attention after the racially motivated murder of
Stephen Lawrence and the Mancpherson report that followed. I also believe that everyone should be
given an equal chance to do his or her best, so it is important to me to find out if racism is the real
reason for ethnic minority students underachievement.
METHODOLOGY
An important issue in my research is how am I going to go about it? The main issue is to find out the
best method that suits the nature of my research. Along side this it is important to know how practical
and ethical my research is.
I have decided to use unstructured interviews for my research. This is due to several reasons, one
being the constraints of the area I live in. Norwich generally has small amounts of ethnic diversity, and
my school shows this, as the majority of students are White. If this wasn t so then I would of used
questionnaires and observation methods. Therefore I have decided that my best opinion is to talk to
people who deal with such matters on a day to day

When the products are run at a lower cost than the standard, then this produces a favorable variance.
The COGS and variance should net to the correct cost though (this is the reason the system creates the
variance).
The bigger problem here is that any inventory is likely to be overvalued because of wrong standards.
Finished goods inventory is valued at the standard cost. So if there is a lot of inventory at an inflated
cost, then the COGS is being reduced on the income statement too much because of this. If the
inventory were to be revalued at it s correct standard cost, there would be a large expense to the

  • 2. Getting To Yes Summary Getting to Yes: Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In Getting to Yes: Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In by Roger Fisher, William Ury, and Bruce Patton was created to educate readers how to become better at analyzing and approaching negotiations as well as become better negotiators. When approaching a negotiation the four principles that should be looked at are: People, Interests, Options, and Criteria. It is encouraged that all four of these principles be used before, during, and after a negotiation. Analysis, planning, and discussion are considered the three phases of the negotiation process. The first of Fisher and Ury s principles is to separate the people from the issues. People tend to prematurely take positions on a matter ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. News Media Bias Case Study Objectivity has become a defining component of the news media. Although this request is quite precarious given the business model of companies that disseminate news, objectivity remains a professional standard of journalism and reporting that the public is highly aware of. Identifying and analyzing media bias is an extremely complex task that not many people engage in. The public often criticizes the news media for trying to advance certain viewpoints or being advocates of political positions. In other words, many people wish the news media was less biased and more objective. Evaluating four news sources, CBS This Morning, ABC7 News, NBC News, and CNN on their coverage of the implementation of a curfew in Baltimore following the Baltimore protests, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Perhaps the chosen topic didn t elicit itself to ideological stances as a topic regarding a 2016 presidential candidate would have. Regardless of ideological bias, certain news frames were present that helped to categorize protesters as either overwhelmingly violent or peaceful. While each news source mentioned the looting and violence that erupted directly after Gray s funeral on Monday, only two sources focused on the peaceful protests that occurred on Tuesday. The curfew was interpreted as a conflict and standoff by ABC7 News and CNN News, but also as an event with minor dissidence by CBS This Morning and NBC News. The coverage of the Baltimore curfew varied in its sensationalism of conflict and violence, but not ideologically. Why do so many Americans believe that their news sources contain ideological bias? As mentioned in the explanation of President Obama s quote in the analysis of the CNN News article, studies of hostile media effect have found that individuals who have strong opinions about an issue or close ties to a social group (i.e., partisans) that is the focus of a controversy will be highly unlikely to perceive any story about that issue or group as credible (Arpan Peterson 311). • 4. Competitive Strategic Approaches used by Starbuck Essay Starbucks Case Each company has what sets it apart from other companies in the same industry. This ideology excludes not Starbuck. Starbuck has a history and right from its inception, the founders wanted something that would offer fine coffee to the society that settled in Seattle. This has all along been the case. To accentuate this phenomenon, there was a time Howard Schultz had to travel to Italy to explore more of the Italian coffee tastes offered in Italy coffee bars and come back to customize the same in America. Unfortunately, upon his return he resigned from Starbuck and formed his own company. However, a few years after he formed his company, Starbuck went on sale and this led Howard Schultz and other investors to mobilize ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Starbucks believes that its clients needs, or rather preferences, are diverse and if it has to make a difference from the standard products their competitors are offering, then it has to diverse the products and the services offered. In ensuring that this is happening, Starbucks offer diverse products and ensures too that the methods it uses to distribute these different products is also diverse. Note it has successively served airlines, hotels learning institutions, select retailers and many more diverse customers. Much focus is given on how every customer is served as this keeps them coming back. This is something Howard Schultz himself had to get down into it and thus he taught his employees on how to be friendly to the customers. The employees friendliness established an emotional attachment with the clients; something that was achieved through employee trainings. Differentiation demands that every product be great and unique on its own way. In making this strategy work best for the company, Starbucks commits itself into training all its stakeholders so that the product s quality is improved indefinitely. At Starbuck you do not just take coffee but also the value of what you buy is improved by other auxiliary services they offer like accessing Wi Fi and paid sites. Plate thickness is kept constant (= 3mm). Some important parameters have been varied during welding. Thus several butt welded joints have been made. Each sample of the joints has been prepared under certain combination of welding parameters. The parameters considered for variation, in the present work have been welding current, gas flow rate and nozzle to plate distance. The design of experiment has been done using L9 Taguchi design of experiment. The influence of the process parameters (mainly current, gas flow rate and nozzle to plate distance) has been examined visually and also through X ray radiographic tests. Next, samples have been cut, machined to conform to some specified dimensions for tensile testing. • 6. Designing A Scalable Workload Management System 2.4.1 Neutron Overview Without including any network specific functionality, it would be possible to develop a scalable workload management system. While the connectivity between compute nodes is required and also for the external access, it is important to have network specific functionality, but it would be possible to benefit from the existing networking infrastructure to allocate IP addresses and relay data between nodes. However, the main problem with such an approach is the network management system would not be able to separate traffic between users securely and efficiently when there will be a multitenant environment[13]. Neutron is a part of OpenStack project focused on delivering networking as a service and manages the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A simple model of virtual network, subnet, and port abstractions to define network resources are the base for creating OpenStack Networking component. Similar to a VLAN in the physical networking world, network in OpenStack is an isolated layer 2 segment. Subnet is a block of IP version 4 or version 6 addresses, set as an address pool from which OpenStack can assign IP addresses to virtual machines (VMs). Each subnet is stated as a Classless Inter Domain Routing range[13]. 2.4.2 Neutron Architecture The main process of the openstack networking component is neutron server, which transmit user requests from OpenStack Networking API to the configured plug in. There are three agents that interact with the main neutron process though the message queue or the OpenStack Networking API[9]: Neutron dhcp agent: The main function of this agent is to provide Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) service to all tenant networks[9]. Neutron l3 agent: The main function of this agent is to translate and forward Layer3/Networking address to enable external network access for VMs on the tenant networks[9]. Neutron * agent: This is an optional plug in agent, which is responsible of performing local virtual switch configuration on each hypervisor[9]. When Nova launches a VM instance, the service communicates with OpenStack Networking in order to plug each virtual network interface into a particular port. 2.4.3 How Neutron works ... • 7. The Impact Of Hate Crimes In America Over the years, America has been prone to this violent act of hate crime that puts its citizens in a situation of distressed and confusion. Hate crimes have been a part of America s history and culture for decades. Because America is a diverse country, the level of hate crimes is outrageous in many different levels due to different cultures, ethnicities, skin colors, and religions. Hate crime is a serious act and has influenced our society today to look at certain people a different way. It is not an act that people are born with rather than they are taught by it or it was inherited within a particular social group. With the election of President Trump in 2016, hate crime activities have really increased in just a year s matter. President Donald Trump plays a role in really highlighting these hate crimes and almost making it seem like he is promoting hate crimes though many of his speeches and statements. Of the many factors that contribute to the highly increasing hate crime activities, there are four factors that I believe are contributing to the increasing hate crime activities. Those four factors are thrill seeking, retaliation, mission offenders, and the income inequality. These factors all have a part into why hate crime activities are increasing over the year. There are many different hate crimes in America. Hate crimes are considered as criminal offenses and depending on which state this criminal offense has been committed, they have their own laws to rule over it. According to Jack Leven and Jack McDevitt, in their article Hate Crimes, they explained, ..the vast majority of hate crime laws do not criminalize any new behavior; instead, they increase the penalty for behaviors that are already against the law (Leven McDevitt, 2011). This is something that has been reviewed and updated over the years. As many new behaviors to hate crime activity surface, those crimes will eventually fall under some old laws but the penalty of it will eventually increase. This hate crime activity includes any acts that involve with any negative attitudes or prejudice toward anyone because of their race, religion, ethnicity, or gender. It often leads to people being bias and showing a tremendous amount of hatred ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. The USA Patriot Act (FISA) In the entire span of the United States history, the commitment of the protection of Americans civil liberties have frequently been tested and strained. The biggest breach of national security was on September 11, 2001 which ended in the compromise of the trust of American people because they had felt lied to and vulnerable all because of a broken pact and a failure to protect America with an agency founded to prevent such a catastrophe. After these acts of terror Congress felt they needed to do better and step up their game, they decided it was time to act so just one vote short of unanimous bipartisan support, they passed the USA Patriot Act. The measure gave law enforcement officials sweeping new powers to conduct searches without warrants, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Although the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) already permitted the administration to wiretap on an emergency basis and apply for warrants retroactively, the administration maintained that FISA was too cumbersome when urgent issues of national security were at stake. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales offered two justifications for the legality of the domestic spying program, asserting that the president had the inherent authority under the Constitution, as commander in chief, to engage in this kind of activity and that Congress, when it authorize[d] the president to use all necessary and appropriate force against al Qaeda in 2001, indirectly sanctioned it. Critics objected that the wiretapping infringed on civil liberties, sidestepped the legislative branch, and placed the president above the law. In August 2006, a federal judge in Detroit ruled the wiretapping program unconstitutional. However, in July 2008, Congress passed a bill overhauling the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act effectively legalizing Bush s secret program. The new law gave legal immunity to the telephone companies that participated in the NSA secret wiretapping program after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and broadened the government s ability to eavesdrop on those in the U.S. and abroad it suspects are linked to terrorist ... • 9. The Bacteria Escherichia Coli ( E. Coli ) Question 1 In the past scientist have used the bacteria Escherichia coli (E. coli) in Synthetic Biology to allow the bacterial species to recognise and respond to light frequencies providing greater knowledge of complex biological systems (Levskaya et al. 2005). E. coli is a suitable chassis to express Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) as the bacteria s plasmid helps to establish GFP (Chavshin et al. 2013). The bacterial plasmid is a maltose binding protein that helps E. coli and GFP fuse together and allows for detection of gene expression and controlling internal environments (Feilmeier et al. 2000). As GFP is a useful biological indicator due to its fluorescent structure (Mazzola et al. 2005) and through the ability of E. coli responding to light, GFP is easily expressed through the process of light stimulation (Lee, J et al. 2013). Through the unique structure and functions found within E. coli, it allows for successful expression of GFP making E. coli a suitable base organism. Question 2 Jellyfish (Aequorea victoria) naturally produce GFP (Zupen et al. 2004) allowing for extraction of the organisms genes and protein to engineer a bacteria that can produce GFP. Scientists are able to blind a bacterial species for example E. coli with GFP by cloning the genes found within jellyfish that produce Green Florescent Protein and insert it into a chosen bacterial species (Zupen et al. 2004). Through the expression of the GFP gene in other organisms, synthetic biology can be ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Road Is All Willa Cather once said, The end is nothing, the road is all. I think this quote means that the journey is all that matters, not the destination. I strongly agree with this opinion. It brings people closer together, creates wonderful memories, and also creates a strong bond between you and other people. Though the destination is what everyone really wants, the journey and the company are just as important as well. Once you get to the end, what happens next? It is just simply the end. People could cherish the moments that the road in the destination gives you. To me this quote means that the road is all because it brings people closer together. When I lived in California, my family and I went on a road trip to Oklahoma, Georgia, North Carolina, and Minnesota to visit family members. The travel was actually really fun. The quote relates to this situation because the journey to all four states were what brought us together and created fun. This time, we spent about 15 hours in the car together. Yet, surprisingly, we all had a great time again. We all laughed, sung songs, and took silly pictures of each other sleeping. She is an African American female author, poet, playwright, and actress and is mostly associated with her most popular autobiography I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. [In addition], Guy would have a chance to have an African father and he being African would add an enriching spice (Angelou 119). Upon moving to Cairo, Egypt along with their unromantic relationship, she plays the official wife to Make. While there, she also accepts a position as assistant editor at the Arab Observer. On a regular basis, Vusumzi Make shows that he has romantic interests other than Angelou from his perfume wrenched and lipstick stained clothing. Angelou never confronted Make and she also hid that her love for him has evaporated (Angelou 235). • 12. Beowulf Heroic Qualities Beowulf, the hero of the epic Beowulf, was a great king and leader, from youth to his declining years. He displays his heroism in three separate conflicts, which take place in two different phases of his life. Despite these challenging tasks, Beowulf exhibits unique heroic qualities throughout his youth and declining years that make him a great king and leader of the Geats. Since his youth as a great warrior lasts so long, the epic portrays Beowulf in three different feats of strength and courage. His first feat was in his swimming match with Breca. Unferth, jealous of Beowulf s popularity with his fellow Danes, brings up Beowulf s loss in a swimming match to Breca. Unferth states that Beowulf will face defeat against Grendel once again as no one has ever outlasted an entire night against Grendel. (37) Beowulf replies that he lost the swimming match against Breca because he was interrupted by the sea beasts. He was swimming shoulder to shoulder... for five nights (37) with Breca but landed on the coast of Finland later than Breca because he had to slay nine sea monsters when he got pulled down. He mocks Unferth afterwards, saying that Unferth or Breca would both be unable to protect themselves against the sea monsters. Beowulf s second great feat was mortally wounding Grendel. The Danes were scared from the terror and murder that Grendel had inflicted on them. Beowulf, with a confident persona, waits and grabs Grendel harder than anything he had ever encountered in any ... • 13. World War I And The United States Essay World War I was unlike any other war before it. The total casualties reached about about 38 million, with over 17 million deaths, 7 million of them being civilians, and 20 million wounded. World War I was well known for the extensive system of trenches from which men of both sides fought, the lethal new technologies unleashed such as poison gas, and for the battles under the sea and in the skies. At first, the two sides consisted of the Allies: France, Britain, and Russia, against the Central Powers: Germany, Austria Hungary, and Turkey. As the war carried on however, the tides turned towards the Central Powers. Needing help, the Allies turned towards America for assistance. The United States however, were very reluctant at first, sticking to their public policies. Trading with both sides of the belligerents, the United States did not want to halt their booming economy, and the large number of protests by immigrant citizens made joining the war even less desirable. It was only after Britain s decision to blockade Germany, Germany s announcement to resume unrestricted submarine warfare, and the British discovery of the Zimmerman Telegram that the United States finally decided to join the war. When World War I began, The United States made it clear that they didn t want to be involved in the war, and maintained their neutrality. Analysis Of One Flew Over The Cuckoo s Nest By Ken Kesey Sigmund Freud was someone who turned clinical psychology on its head; therefore, it only makes sense that he would be an inspiration for someone who completely redefined literature. In the novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo s Nest author Ken Kesey weaves an intricate, while subtextual, theme that mirrors concepts of Freudian psychology. About a decade after publication, in her article Kesey and Freud, former Northeastern University professor Ruth Sullivan analyzes the progression and impact of Kesey s use of Freudian psychology, most specifically, Kesey s use of Freud s Oedipus Complex as it pertains to the characters Nurse Ratched, R.P. McMurphy, and Chief Bromden. While it is true that McMurphy and Bromden represent the typical Freudian father son ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... According to an article titled The Oedipal Crisis, the main stages of the Oedipal Complex that deals with a mother are that, the first love object for [the son] is the mother, the young boy is threatened by the father s relationship with his mother, and the father is perceived as an enemy. (http://www.changingstates.co.uk/freud.html). Nurse Ratched never fulfills any of those roles; in fact, she is seen as the clear enemy the whole entire book. The enemy is never McMurphy; instead, Nurse Ratched is described as the root of all the trouble here (Kesey, 185). Ratched and McMurphy s relationship is not sexual and the men on the ward are never envious of McMurphy for his relationship with Nurse Ratched. Instead, Nurse Ratched is seen as a woman who McMurphy describes as a ball cutter (Kesey, 60) Nurse Ratched is not someone who is seen as appealing or attractive or warm like a Freudian mother, rather, she is a woman that makes a man powerless and asexual. Freud s Oedipal triangle is clearly missing one point because the Big Nurse does not fulfill the concept of a Freudian mother. That is where Sullivan s analysis falls ... There is a way to accomplish this task, meaning order to find or build a foundation or a base that is certain, one must first destroy everything one believes to know start from the very beginning. The goal is to find things that are absolute indubitable , meaning it is 100 percent certain or it can not under any circumstances be doubted (Descartes 13). The play Much ado about nothing written by William Shakespear would not be the first thing that comes to mind when considering anything being indubitable. It is entails clear social and gender issues of its time. With this essay, I wish to point out how the men boast themselves in so much honor and masculinity, that they are easily blinded by a simple lie. So simple in fact, that it took an entire plot built on Hero s death to reveal the truth. If a woman s mind, body and soul were more valuable, there would have been no need to lie and deceive once more to prove Hero s innocence. This is important, because women are still judged more harshly for being involved with a man before marriage, or having multiple partners. The Culture Of Asian American And Being Labeled As An Ethnic Preface In this essay, I attempted to lay bare the issues of being an Asian American and being labeled as an ethnic other in modern America. This label of other causes them to become marginalized and lose their sense of identity, belonging neither to Western culture nor Eastern culture. In order help stop this loss of identity in Asian Americans, we must tear down the social construct of the other and integrate the different cultures into the melting pot of popular culture. Once we have stopped alienating different cultures, we can then have a moral society that upholds diversity and identity. The Struggles of the Other The apparent dominance of White Europeans in America results in a common set of values, beliefs, and norms that are endorsed by Whites, leading to an America whose vision is filtered through the lens of the White European perspective. This established vision and power creates the social construct of the ethnic other. As an ethnic other in America, my analysis incorporates my personal experiences and the experiences of those around me. In a nation that has a population so diverse in personal and collective identities, problems regarding morality and culture can arise. China s consumption of soybeans ballooned by more than 160% between 2000 and 2011 when import barriers were removed, but the area planted with soybeans declined by 20% during those same years. Captain Delano, while doubtful at times wasn t sure how trustworthy Cereno was, creating tension between them when Cereno would act odd. He wasn t sure if Cereno was masquerading as a pirate, but his generous nature would reassure him that he was silly to have such doubts. Due to Cereno s though being presented to the audience in narrative form Melville made us detract from what the slaves were doing because there actions were simply described without much thought and speculation. As a result, at first take the audience didn t pay attention to the free roaming slaves and had believed that Cereno had allowed them to do whatever they had liked, as odd as it had seem to Delano. Exploring the Reasons for the Underachievement of Ethnic Minority Children Rational ======== Every child goes through the same education system, every child works through the same curriculum 2000 set by New Labour and every child sits the same exams up to the age of 16. So why are there marked differences in educational attainment for ethnic minority students? My main aim is to find out if racism is the main cause of the gap between different ethnic groups in education, which can lead to some ethnic minority groups being over represented in low status, low paid jobs. I have picked this topic because I feel that education underachievement is a major problem and so is institutional racism. This issue has gained more attention after the racially motivated murder of Stephen Lawrence and the Mancpherson report that followed. I also believe that everyone should be given an equal chance to do his or her best, so it is important to me to find out if racism is the real reason for ethnic minority students underachievement. METHODOLOGY An important issue in my research is how am I going to go about it? The main issue is to find out the best method that suits the nature of my research. Along side this it is important to know how practical and ethical my research is. I have decided to use unstructured interviews for my research. The COGS and variance should net to the correct cost though (this is the reason the system creates the variance). The bigger problem here is that any inventory is likely to be overvalued because of wrong standards. Finished goods inventory is valued at the standard cost. So if there is a lot of inventory at an inflated cost, then the COGS is being reduced on the income statement too much because of this. If the inventory were to be revalued at it s correct standard cost, there would be a large expense to the income statement. I would say he has been building inventory, more and more each quarter.
