situations. A dog with a good temperament can react to various situations calmly and will not be
aggressive. The American Temperament Test Society holds an event a few times a year to collect data
about different breeds temperaments and how friendly these dogs are (ATTS). The test consists of
walking in an enclosed track where the dog will react to different strangers and noises. The percent of
pit bulls that passed the temperament test is 87.4 percent. This is a shockingly high percent
considering that many people think they are creatures from the devil. Pit bulls scored way higher than
