The Role Of A Rocket Plane During The 1930 S Three Young...
In the late 1930 s, three young men, Frank Malina, Jack Parsons, and Ed Forman formed a group on
the Caltech campus in Pasadena, California known by students as the Suicide Squad, for their crazy
and often life threatening engineering antics; but as tensions heated up in Europe, the men s
experiments began to seem less wild to the US government: in 1939, they were awarded $1,000 to
conduct research into the development of a rocket plane for use in combat. With the money, the men
hired two of their colleagues, Barby and Richard Canright and created a testing site in the Arroyo Seco
canyon outside Pasadena. The group, ridiculed by scientists and engineers, and frowned upon by the
citizens of Pasadena, had just formed the Jet Propulsion ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
At the time, if women did choose to pursue a career instead of becoming a housewife, there were only
three main paths they could take: schoolteacher, nurse, or secretary. It was just one of the limits of
being born a woman (11). Women who chose to rebel even further and attempt to pursue careers in
science and technology were greeted with little to no diversity; many of the JPL computers recall
being the only woman in a group of men in both classrooms and workplaces (13). And even if they
made into a corresponding profession, they had far less chance of being promoted than their male
counterparts. Many of the JPL women longed to become engineers, a title with more distinction than
that of computers, but not only was engineering considered a man s profession , with women widely
discouraged from pursuing careers in it, but most engineering schools in the country wouldn t even
accept women. This was a prominent and long standing issue at JPL. When she was hired, Helen Ling
s knowledge of math and science was such that if she had been a man applying for the job, she wold
likely have been hired as an engineer (118). As such, there wasn t a single female engineer at JPL at
the time; Barbara Paulson says that in her mind an engineer was a man , adding even more
depressingly that she couldn t imagine that a

Monomyth In The Lion King
Rebecca and Phillip Stein (2017) discuss monomyth, a hero s journey, in their book Anthropology of
Religion, Magic, and Witchcraft. In the text, they use the definition of a monomyth given by Joseph
Campbell. Campbell defines it as when A hero ventures forth from the world of common day into a
region of supernatural wonder: fabulous forces are there encountered and a decisive victory is won:
the hero comes back from this mysterious adventure with the power to bestow boons on his fellow
man. (Stein Stein, 2017.) According to the text, a hero s journey has three stages: the departure, the
initiation, and the return. (Stein and Stein, 2017.) The Disney movie, The Lion King, is a monomyth
movie about a young lion who abandons his role as king of the Pride lands and must come back to
save his family and his land when danger ensues. Simba is the son of Mufasa, the current king,
therefore he is the rightful heir to the throne. This is the common day world that Simba lives in. His
uncle, Scar, is filled with hatred towards both Simba and Mufasa, because he believes he deserves to
be king. He comes up with an elaborate plan to kill them both. He tricks Simba into thinking that his
father has a surprise for him, and he instructs Simba to wait inside of a canyon while he fetches his
Mufasa. Scar deliberately starts a stampede of wildebeests to try and kill Simba. Mufasa arrives to the
canyon to witness Simba clinging for his life, on a lone shrub s branch, as thousands of

Analysis Of Hawthorne s Conception Of Human Nature...
Analysis of Hawthorne s Conception of Human Nature through his Stories
Nathaniel Hawthorne was a brilliant writer of many stories, especially dealing with the nature of
human beings, with themes including religion, perfection, and the natural world. His works have been
lauded for their treatment of the human condition. Several stories, such as The Birthmark , Rappaccini
s Daughter , Young Goodman Brown , and The Black Veil , have been chosen to explain Hawthorne s
understanding of human nature. The Birthmark especially explains the pursuit of human perfection
and the notion that nature cannot be overcome by humankind. Rappaccini s Daughter details the
human temptation to sin. Young Goodman Brown expresses the belief that once one sins, they will
always be a sinner, cannot atone for their sins, and must pay for it. Finally, The Black Veil considers
the idea of inherent sin, where the Black Veil represents all of sin in the town. Through his stories,
Hawthorne conceptualizes his perspective on human nature by considering that because human beings
pursue perfection, and are not content with their inherent imperfection, they experience the loss of
their humanity.
Hawthorne s stories develop a narrative that explores the nature of inherent imperfection and sin. In
Young Goodman Brown, the Devil figure says to his children that, Evil is the nature of Mankind. Evil
must be your only happiness (9). The Devil figure speaking to his followers clearly states that sin is

George Washington University History Course Analysis
My Freshman year of college, I was a mechanical engineering student at the George Washington
University. It was there that I learned how difficult school could really be. My past schooling
experience had not prepared me for this extremely rigorous program. As one of my requirements for
the program was a social science, I had registered for a history course my first semester. Unknowingly,
I had registered for a third year history class, clearly not the correct class for a freshman engineering
student. I went on to struggle with the amount of work that was assigned for the course including an
18 page research paper. This course, on top of the difficult engineering curricula was extremely
challenging. At this point, I also realized that although ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I am particularly interested in attending Rutgers because it has a rich history of educating students in
the field of Environmental Science. In addition, the Center for Environmental Prediction is an
organization that shares my concern and commitment to the environment. I am hoping to become
involved with the CEP and conduct research and lobbying in conjunction with them. I am also
attracted to Rutgers because it has the best of both worlds from a campus standpoint. I can enjoy the
more rural Cook/Douglass campuses and truly experience nature at places like the Bamboo garden
and the log cabin hiking trails. Yet, just a bus ride away is the hustle and bustle of George Street and
the College Avenue campus. I believe that by attending Rutgers, I can learn in a professional,
experienced environment with access to knowledgeable faculty and leading edge technology and
research. More importantly, I believe that the Rutgers Curriculum can allow me to develop the skillset
I need to actually make a difference. Classes on solar energy and environmental tax policy serve as the
environmentalist s weapons in the fight for our planet. I want to use Rutgers as a resource to help not
only myself, but the entire planet. When I think about the term world changing , I think free clean
energy for a nation, zero dependence on fossil fuels, and stopping the extinction of several keystone
species. The world is in a delicate balance now more than ever. With the geopolitical scale shifting the
way it is, environmentalists will face the greatest challenge yet to protect and preserve. Now it is my
time to step up and do my part, all I need are those willing to teach me

Why Is Medea Wrong
In the play Medea , written by Euripides, we are presented with the story of the ex princess of Colchis
who was once happily married to the king of Iolcus, Jason. While they are still married, they are far
from happy. King Jason has made the decision to abandon his wife and two children to marry the king
of Corinth s daughter, Glauce. Medea is very angered and pained by Jason s actions and decides they
only way to bear this grief is to hurt Jason as deeply as he hurt her. I find Medea s decision to cause
Jason pain to be acceptable but how she does it to be unacceptable.
Creon, the king of Corinth, anticipates Medea s wrath and plans to send her into exile with the
children. In an attempt to remain out of exile, Medea meets with Aegeus, King of Athens. He explains
that despite his marriage to his wife he is without children. Medea explains her current situation to
him and begs him to allow her to remain in the country in exchange for her providing him with drugs
to end his infertility. With her new found freedom Medea decides that killing Jason s fiancé, the King
of Colchis (Glauce s father), and their two children is the best way to cause Jason pain but I do not
agree. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I can t even imagine how Medea must have felt after being abandoned by the man whose children she
bared and loved. I cannot fault Jason or be disgusted with him because I do not know what was
happening in their home. Medea could have been treating Jason poorly or maybe Jason just realized
that he no longer loved Medea but what I do know is that Jason told Medea he is marrying Glauce
because he could not pass up the opportunity to marry a royal princess while he is married to a
barbarian woman. While that confession must have broken Medea s heart there is no excuse for
murdering your own children and two royal

March Of The Bonus March Essay
The march of the Bonus Army was a group of World War I veterans and their families who travelled to
Washington, D.C. in the summer of 1932. They came from all over the nation to seek economic relief
from the federal government. The veterans wanted to receive money that was promised for their
services in the first world war and to redeem their service certificates ahead of schedule. The Great
Depression was at its height and it was a difficult time to live. Many of the veterans were poor due to
a shortage of jobs. Unemployment was at 25% and everyone that went to Washington, D.C. camped
out in a self made Hooverville . The government tried to get them to leave, but it was not facile. They
were not leaving without a fight. President Hoover was not going to approve the demands of the
Bonus Marchers, but then neither was Congress. The House of Representatives passed the bill, but the
Senate refused to budge. Once the veterans refused to leave, Hoover sent McArthur and the army ...

They grouped themselves by their state affiliate and not by their race. They worked cooperatively
together for the good of the whole group. The bonus army made an impact on the American people
and they got what they wanted and deserved. Without the bonus army s march, the veterans would not
have been compensated until 1945. When the veterans were eventually paid in 1936 through the
Adjusted Compensation Act, it made a massive impact on the individual recipients and their families.
As one man stated in the film, My dad came in the house with seven one hundred dollar bills, and we
thought, oh that s what a bonus is?! The bonus helped numerous families get back on their feet.
Several of them obtained a loan for a house and did not have to worry about feeding their families.
They were overjoyed at their new found prosperity and the government had finally fulfilled its

Katherine The Shrew
In Act 5, Scene 2, lines 152 196, of The Taming of the Shrew, Katherine portrays her transformation
from an undesirable shrew to an obedient wife as she depicts to Bianca and Widow the respect and
loyalty that a woman s lord, life, [and] keeper deserves (162). After being encouraged by Petruchio,
whom had recently placed a bet with Lucentio and Hortensio on whose wife would be the most
obedient, to lecture the two women on their wifely responsibilities, she remarked on the harsh burdens
of a man compared to the composed lifestyle of a woman. While Lucentio and Hortensio were lead to
believe that Petruchio finally tamed Katherine into a devoted and subservient wife, the reality was that
her words were full of hidden sarcasm; the shrew was ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Supporting the viewpoint that Katherine has maintained her combative personality throughout the
play, the word fie could be interpreted as an exclamation expressing...disgust or indignant reproach,
(OED 3). Using this definition, the reader can visualize Katherine scolding the women on their
behavior as if they were naughty children, and feeling better about herself for doing so. On the
contrary, using fie in a sentence could indicate trust (OED 1). The audience could see Katherine
portraying the lines of Fie, fie!...To wound thy lord, thy king, thy governor. / It blots thy beauty as
frosts do bite the meads, as Trust me, ladies. This is how you should really treat your husband, in order
to earn the affection she desired from Petruchio (152, 154 155). This scene represented the fact that
Katherine had not been tamed in the slightest; she just knew what to do in order to feel better about
herself and to get what she wanted from

Humbert s The Hotel Mirana
At one of the darkest moments in Lolita, after Humbert s outburst of rage and violence toward Lolita,
the name of his father s hotel appears, causing Humbert to interrupt the description of his and Lolita s
sensual reconciliation with a parenthetical exclamation (Mirana!) (227). This decision might strike the
reader as strange due to its emphasis of a seemingly irrelevant detail. However, the influence of
Humbert s childhood home on his life in America is significant, though often subtle. In the midst of
the darkness of his remorse, hopelessness, and sobbing atonement after striking Lolita, the two of
them happen to stay at a motel of the same title as the Hotel Mirana. The name of the Mirana
generates a flash of light that offers ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
At a hobby museum in Mississippi, Humbert finds a collection of European hotel picture post cards
that happens to contain a photograph of the Mirana (155). While every other mention of the Mirana is
found in Humbert s mind or narration, subject to his fantasies and potentially faulty memory, the idea
of a photograph suggests a real world representation of the original, unaltered Mirana Hotel. However,
the colored photo is less authentic than it seems at first. The word colored indicates an editing of the
original photo (it didn t originate as a color photo ), and the photo depicts retouched palm trees ;
already, the credibility of this photograph is in doubt. In addition, Humbert only gives a few details
about the hotel in the picture: it has striped awnings and a flag flying above the aforementioned palm
trees. The combination of the editing of the photo and this generic description casts doubt on its
authenticity is it even the Mirana? Humbert s hot wave of pride is no clear indication of the photo s
validity; his mental perception of and fascination with the Mirana is so strong that he could be
projecting his unreal fantasy onto a photograph of another European hotel. Though at first it has an
intrinsic legitimacy, the photograph s accuracy is quickly subverted and eroded by Humbert s
distortion of reality. As a result, the

The Theme Of Survivor s Guilt In The Book Thief
Life and Death Vs Survivor s Guilt
Life and death and Survivor s guilt are both complex, multi layered topics that are used to develop the
characters in the book Thief. Throughout the novel, author Markus Zusak utilizes these themes to add
a hidden meaning behind character development. By comparing and contrasting the multiple facets of
both themes, only then can one truly realize the thought behind each and every word is the novel. Life
and death ,as well as survivor s guilt, are similar and different in the ways they cause change, how the
experiences cause characters to better their lives, and the everlasting impacts they have on the families

The Evils Of Communism
Communism is something most people see as bad thing. It is seen as an inhuman and a dangerous
idea. Though during post war time in Czechoslovakia people did not see it as bad, they saw it as a way
to fix their economy and live happily after the war. Communism as described by Dictionary.com as a
theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual
ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state. Which in short means the state
has control over the economy and shares wealth equally. Communism had hekd together the lives of
the people who were in post war times in the beginning but then things started to change and it was

Essay On How To Achieve The American Dream
In order to attain the American Dream people must dream it, plan it, and simply let it work itself into

do it everyday with just three steps. First, a person must dream up an American Dream (Steps to

rather than telling others right away because negative minded outsiders will try to turn them away

Jackie Robinson and the Struggle for Equality in Baseball...
Jackie Robinson and the Struggle for Equality in Baseball
Baseball has always been known as America s pastime. But America s pastime, along with America s
past, have both been saturated with the brutal force of racism. For hundreds of years, from the time of
slavery until the middle of the 20th century, African American children rounded up their friends and
headed to the baseball diamond. There, for thousands of young black players, the smell of the grass,
the cloud of dust that formed when running the ninety feet between bases, and the feeling of safely
sliding into homeplate for a run marked the glimmer of fun and excitement in an otherwise dreary day.
However, due to the color of their skin, black children were not awarded these ... Show more content

This feeling was felt until April 15, 1947, until the man who would change all this stepped up to bat,
marking the first time an African American played in the major leagues.# Jackie Robinson was the

lived in history as the first day of the beginning of a new truth. That, with hard work and a heart the
size of a watermelon, black people could aspire to be more. Jackie Robinson is responsible for the
truth of hope, a truth more powerful than any other. With this new hope, Jackie Robinson and the
African American race marked the beginning of the struggle for the ultimate holy grail...equality. Jack
Roosevelt Robinson was born on January 31, 1919 in Cairo, Georgia. The grandson of a slave and son
of a sharecropper, Jackie, as he become known, struggled from the very beginning. He was the
youngest of five children in a poor family. After his father abandoned him at the age of one, his
mother was forced to work many jobs just to support the family.# Jackie was very outspoken from the

Jackie lashed back and always stood up for himself, sometimes to the tune of beatings from the
children. But Jackie didn t care. Even

Life of a Pilot Many people travel on a plane each year, but have never wondered what the people
flying the plane have done to get to this level. Becoming a pilot requires difficult work, and takes
time, mostly in the early stages of flight school. A pilot must go to school for many years, on top of

The Talented Prokofiev And Beethoven Essay
Samantha Davis MUSIC 1302 Professor Eldridge The Talented Prokofiev and Beethoven Throughout
history, many musicians and composers made a great impact on the musical world as we know it
today. Some of the greats were Sergei Prokofiev and Beethoven. Even though they came in different
time periods, they both made a huge impact on the musical world. Sergei Prokofiev was a 20th
century Russian composer. His father, Sergei Alekseievich Prokofiev, was an agriculturalist and his
mother, Mariya Zitkova, was a self taught pianist. Since his mother was a pianist, he found the love
for music at a young age. Prokofiev composed his first opera at the age of 9, and when he was around
13 years old, Prokofiev attended St. Petersburg Conservatory to study composition. Prokofiev wrote in
many genres including ballets, operas, symphonies, and even film music. He has played and lived in
many countries including Russia, America, and Itlay. Throughout his career, many of Prokofiev s
work brought him great recognition. However, his Piano Concerto No. 3(1921) marked one of the
peaks of his dynamic national style. This concerto was dedicated to his friend Boris Bashkirov.
Prokofiev s Piano Concerto No. 3 was written during the time when he wandered from Russia because
of the Bolshevik Revolution. This piece is the most carefully crafted of his early Concertos. The
structure is one movement, the music is tonal, and it is the shortest of Prokofiev s concertos. It

Having completed the unit of philosophy of religion, you are now ready to respond to an article

atheistic works in the 1960s and 70s including the book God and Evil (Nijhoff, 1974). In this article,
McCloskey is both critical of the classical arguments for God s existence and offers the problem of
evil as a reason why one should not believe in God.

The uncaused cause holds to that which is outside the framework of causation. Most philosophers hold
that this first cause cannot be caused for the reason that it is outside causation. Something would need
to set forth in motion the ring of causality. If the premise stands, then such a first cause would have to
exist necessarily, otherwise it would have been caused. This necessity is one of causal relation, as long
as the premise is accepted.
As regards the cosmological argument itself, McCloskey states that all we entitled to infer is the
existence of a cause commensurate with the effect to be explained, the universe, and this does not
entitle us to postulate an all powerful, all perfect, uncaused cause. (p.63) This is indeed true, there is
no reason to necessarily infer a God person, however; the inference is of the nature that suggests
(hence the term infer) a cause of such magnitude that it is practically God like. Moreover, his words
do not disprove the rational of a God. Entitlement not to call this cause God is neither entitlement to
deny calling this cause or considering this cause to be God.

Temujin found a way to convince the people that Ong Khan and his family were dead through rumor
even though he didn t actually kill them. In 1204, Temujin had his last battle for the control of
Mongolia. He used tactics that were a mix between old and new fighting styles.
The fourth chapter is named Spitting of the Golden Khan . It is also were part two of the book starts.
By 1210 Genghis (which became his new name) grew into a golden age. This when everything started

military power and new tactics to employ into battle. He knew that in order to conquer a fortified city
he needed new tactic that is why he employed the wave method, in which men went in like waves. He
built a strong and prosperous empire that had a great time for 60 years. The fifth chapter is called

Diamonds, The Embodiment Of Esteem And Romance
Diamonds, the embodiment of esteem and romance. Millions of years ago, high temperatures and
pressure in earth s mantle gave birth to a dazzling gem, a gem that would be loved and adored by
many people. It would be put on ornaments and crowns, become the center piece of many jewelry,
become the highest symbol of esteem, and even be compared to the stars. People would spend entire
paychecks, even a month s, or a year s worth of salary, on trying to acquire it. And in today s world, it
s even become the norm in expressing love. For men it s become a ritual, to invest in the biggest
diamond they can afford, and put on the person they love. Looking at these norms, you have to ask,
why is it that we love diamonds so much? Why is it that people spend thousands if not millions in
trying to procure this shiny rock? Is it because it s just human nature to love shiny things we can make
ornaments out of? Or is there another reason for our astounding love for it, a more malicious and
covert reason, one that involves a masterful marketing campaign, and human consumerism
conditioning, to create a market where there isn t one. The latter, unfortunately is more akin to reality
than you would think. And for it to all make sense one would have to look at the history of the
consumer demand of diamonds, and their usage throughout their long history.
Diamonds weren t always used as adornments or jewelry pieces and many believe, in fact since
ancient times to even the middle ages,

Steganography Critical Review
Purpose This critical review is to investigate steganographic studies and their methods to either
exfiltrate data or defend against data exfiltration. Steganography has one main purpose, to conceal
data. Huang s (2011) method, embedding steganographic data in inactive frames of low bit rate audio
streams went against the norm (Aoki, 2008), (Wu et al., 2006), used active frames of high bit rate
audio streams. Active high bit rate audio streams have higher least significant bit counts, which
presents added frames to conceal steganographic payloads (Huang et al., 2011). Howbeit, Huang
(2011) demonstrated a new algorithm he administered to (VOIP) inactive frames of low bit audio

Nagaraja s (2011) research purpose was to initiate future studies into defensive measures against
botnets. Botnets have a unique ability to coordinate the sending and receiving of new commands to
bots that grant the botmaster immense power to execute criminal activities, such as, phishing attacks,
DDoS attacks, and ransomware attacks (Nagaraja, et al., 2011). Which have intensified to where
presently botnets control hundreds of thousands of hosts and produce millions of dollars in revenue for
their creators (Nagaraja, et al., 2011). Contrary to traditional botnets, Stegobot s communication traffic
does not open new communication endpoints between the bots (Nagaraja, et al., 2011). Stegobot takes
advantage of social media networks by operating along the edges, while utilizing image
steganography techniques to hide covert communication during the interchanging of images among
users (Nagaraja, et al., 2011). Network traffic visualization method designed by Mazurczyk (2012)
focuses on network anomaly detection principles. Mazurczyk s main purpose of doing his research
was to detect anomalies in network traffic flow, that can cause malicious actions that could
compromise network security. Typical anomaly detection methods instituted across networks focus on
discovering illegal activities orchestrated by probable attackers (Mazurczyk, et al., 2012). Current
security devices lack the effectiveness needed in today s immense traffic volumes that need current

Akhenaten Influence On Ancient Egyptian Society
In the heart of Egypt along the east bank of the Nile River lies the archaeological site of Amarna, this
semicircle of barren land bound by colossal limestone cliffs was home to an entire nation of ancient
Egyptian brought there by the will of an insurgent man: the pharaoh Akhenaten. Tyrant and arguably
history s first individual not only eradicated the most traditional and vital aspect of Egyptian life but

Akhenaten s revolution saw the abandonment of Egypt s traditional polytheistic society to a
monotheistic society against the will of a whole nation. Not only was this expressed through the
grotesque style of art employed during the Amarna period but also through poems and wall reliefs
found. For many years Egyptians worshipped a plethora of gods which encompassed vast aspects of
everyday life from the Nile valley to rising and setting of the sun, religion aided in explaining the
world around them. That was until Akhenaten The Heretic King extinguished the existence of all even

My Goal And Future As A Psychiatric And Mental Health...
Introduction
Learning can be achieved from different backgrounds, situation or environment. It is my optimist

me with some experience and eagerness to achieve evidence base practice to advance my knowledge
as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). The purpose of this paper is to guide

I have always had the strongest interest and desire to work in the health care field. However, choosing
a specific area of specialty has been challenging in light of the fact that I immigrated from another

from a mental health problem that I now considered to be schizophrenia. The concept of Kemchi is a

Delta Air Travel
Air travel has become a common part of everyday life. However, one of the common complaints with
air travel is the prices of the tickets. It turns out that people are not the only ones who have trouble
finding the lowest ticket price, computers have a hard time as well. This paper aims to look at the
computational complexity of air travel planning, and find the lowest priced ticket between two
destinations using popular search algorithms. As explained in the introduction, it is not feasible to
attempt to run all the flights across the world through the search algorithms. Instead, flights from one
airline, Delta, were selected. This includes code share flights. The flight database that was used is

In doing the research for this project, no such database was able to be found, however.
The final element of this experiment which could use more investigation and changes is the algorithms
used. While the two selected worked for the most part
(excluding the one route A* could not compute), they are likely not the best choice for this type of
search. Finding more robust versions of UCS and A* and including some other algorithms could have
provided more conclusive results as well as giving more interesting data.
The goal of this project was to take a public database of airline flights, select a number of flights, and
run those flights through a couple of the search algorithms studied in class (uniform cost search and
A* search). The algorithms provided some interesting results when run on the ten randomly selected
routes. In almost all of the cases the algorithms were able to find the cheapest path between the
departure and arrival airports, although A* chose a more expensive route once and could not find one
other route. When these findings were compared with
Google s flight search, some of the results were surprising. Almost all of the real world flights cost
more or less than what the two algorithms found,

The Importance Of Health And Physical Education
Health and Physical Education is a mandatory learning area in the school curriculum which provides
opportunities for all students to live healthy and active lifestyles. Schools are recognised as primary
settings for developing health related knowledge and skills. Health and physical education supports
students to enhance their own and others health. HPE is a learning area of Australian curriculum
through which students can make healthier choices. It focuses explicitly on developing movement
skills and encourage students to participate in range of physical activities. Therefore, Health and
Physical Education is a vital learning area in the school curriculum.
Health and Physical Education provides learning opportunities for students to make meaning of and
apply the knowledge and skills related to health and movement. They learn movement skills through
physical education. These skills enable them to develop personal, interpersonal, behavioural, cognitive
and social skills. Movement skills also encourage students for ongoing participation across their
lifespan which leads to positive health outcomes (Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting
Authority, 2012). According to UNESCO (1999), learning to move and enjoying the freedom of
movement is a human right (as cited in ACARA, 2012). HPE promotes movement skills which are
important part of daily life to enhance active living. The content of curriculum focuses on developing
knowledge and understanding about how body moves

How Do Weapons Affect The World
There are various harmful and helpful discoveries all over the world. Though a number of these were
created to hurt instead of help, many people look to the invention before looking to the mind of a
human. For instance, drugs are used to cure people, while others treat them as an addiction. Similarly,
weapons are used either to kill or protect. Good people choose good, while evil people make poor
choices. Inventions overall improve our world; however, some people handle them as a detriment.
The most frequently used, harmful, and dangerous weapon across the world is the Automatic Rifle,
which was created in 1887 by General Manuel Mondragon. These powerful weapons were previously
used in the military after generals discovered the horrific demolition it could cause. Tracing all the
way back to its descendants, the AK 47, the M16A1, and the M 14, these rifles are self loading and
capable of delivering fully automatic, deadly weapon fire. Consequently, this weapon is ... Show more

determination along with other procedures. (Khangura, Sircar, Singh, Rastogi, 2011) This is not what
Bones said she used. The show implies that she used the broken bones of the sinuses, not the teeth
attached, to determine the sex.
Furthermore, the speed they were able to go through each step of the process of cleaning the bones
was unbelievable. Our text book, Forensic Anthropology, says it takes days even weeks to properly
clean bones using a very rigorous process of boiling, bleaching, and air drying to remove residual soft

world, simple peanut butter is not enough; we are a society of wanting more. In this paper, we will
look at the marketing position and the market share of Jif Peanut Butter, produced since 1958, and

to innovate and create new products with higher profit margins than to try and gain market share
simply on price. And for retailers, there s a comfort level to putting Jif on the shelf, because if it says
Jif on it, it will probably sell. Since J.M. Smucker has no factories overseas, Skippy peanut butter

Persuasive Essay On Go On Vacation
Finally, we get to go on vacation. I said as we got up to leave. My parents had already loaded up the
car and we were ready to go. All morning while I was getting ready was the sound of suitcases being
dragged around and the beeping of the car as the trunk opened and closed. Then I heard all of my
other seven brothers and sisters get into the car. We of course have a huge car but even with that it s
still a little cramped. All of my brothers stunk up the car and it made the spilt milk smell ten times
worse. We had an hour drive to the airport and then another 5 hours on a plane. My oldest brother,
Andrew had already fallen asleep and my other 3 brothers were poking him and trying to annoy him
but he was out cold. Because in total there are ten of us it s super rare that we ever get to go on
vacation. But my dad just got a ton of extra vacation days so we finally decided to go on a vacation.
This vacation is going to be awesome, as long as no one gets lost, sick, hurt, or complaints. Well
maybe the complaining part won t happen but hey, I can always hope. A long long hour later we arrive
at the airport and park the car. This is the dreaded part, trying to get everyone s things organized. My
bag of course is a decent size. Andrews seems a little small but then again he wears the same outfit
every day and probably won t need much else. Then my older sister Chloe s bag comes out. It s huge!

opportunity to define the concept of credit card and its responsible use in order to avoid its snares.
Furthermore, alert the audience of other ways to build credit such as through borrowing and getting

Chapter Two The Health Improvement Issue From the various studies, reports and statistics (many of
which have been referenced and/or quoted in the Introduction) it is clearly evident that there are a
number of different health improvement issues in the town of Middlesbrough. Whilst these health
improvement issues cover such things as alcohol and drug misuse, from the reports, statistics and
studies, it is clear that the key and predominant health related improvement issue in the town of
Middlesbrough, is smoking. The Middlesbrough Health Profile 2012 says that smoking is one of the
main priorities for improvement in this area; approximately 30,000 people smoke in Middlesbrough

high numbers of people suffering smoke related illnesses and disease will have an adverse impact on

His constant use of reflections and vertical framing helps the audience to interpret the change of the
characters identities. Mirrors make for a visual confusion and could cause the audience to question
whether what they are seeing is reality or simply a reflection. Vertical framing and multiple images of
characters create an aesthetic view of characters identity and through film language visually portrays
them as trapped within the change and confusion of the cities identity as well as their own.
The repeated theme of expiry helps Wong Kar wai to emphasise the anxiety of the expected changes
for Hong Kong in the 1990 s. His constant referencing to objects and arrangements expiring is shown
through his choice of props and framing devices. The pineapple that 223 buys is an example of this
theme, as well as the plane ticket that Faye gives to 663 with an expiry date of a year from that point.
This constant reminder of expiration reminds us of the countdown to 1997, the Handover to China.
This fear of change is also reinforced through the element of the future and the fact that the narrator
can see outside of the film and tell the audience that things will change for Hong Kong and therefore
the characters lives also, highlighting the characters anxiety and fear of the change that they are all

A Closer Look at Pluralism
Reading over the brilliant work of Michael Walzer s What does it mean to be an American I have
discovered that the identity of Americans is that of a melting pot. We , as Americans, promote an
abundance of cultures that are interconnected to make our country the amazing place it is today.
Walzer believes in the diversity of America, he realizes that America s cultural diversity is part of what
makes us the best country in the world. Walzer knows that pluralism and national unity go hand in
hand. You cannot have one without the other. Even with the existence of dozens of ethnos that have
the right to vote and live freely as U.S. citizens, we are not in jeopardy of acquiring any negative
consequences. As walzer stated one can reasonably argue that ethnic pluralism is entirely compatible
with the existence of a unified republic. Walzer s opinion on pluralism is diverse as the word would
indicate. To begin with, he stresses the importance of keeping immigration open, and we should be
strongly against any government issued law that would cut off immigrants coming into this country.
No one is indigenous to this country, so in a sense, we are all immigrants. It is morally repugnant to
allow some to come, while turning others away. Next, he states that we should upgrade the schooling
to help in the teaching of history and aid in immigrant awareness. Then, he goes on to discuss how
essential it is to identify and aid in the nurturing of public political ability

The Beauty Standards Set For African American Women
The beauty standards set for African American women has shifted drastically in the past decades due
to the change in popularized stereotypical images portrayed through the explicit lyrics of hip hop and
rap music. How African American women are portrayed in the music industry has had a profound
impact on how black women view themselves as well as other races, it promotes unrealistic body
sizes/images, and colorism in the black community because of how the new age rap and hip hop
stigmatizes and sexualize the Black woman s body as a whole. Not only are males rap artist
contributing to the exploitation of African woman but also the women of rap as well are adding to the
derogatory and disrespectful image that is perceived by society.
Music has always served as a channel for African American men to eloquent the issues they have
living as an oppressed entity. But because of how rap artist portray African American women in their
songs and music videos, they have stigmatized black women as non intelligent sexual entities. In
Dionne Stephens and April Few s article, they examine the eight sexual images of African American

Impact Of The Job Design On Retail Banking
Introduction As a financial service provider, the banking industry employs an abundance of
standardized processes. In order to deliver a professional, accurate and fast service to customers, as
well as to maintain the motivation and performance of banking staff, it is critical to design a smooth
and friendly process for various types of service requests, or in other words, to allocate the tasks to
appropriate positions. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the impacts on performance resulting
from the job design in retail banking so as to demonstrate the ability of the author to apply the
operations management concept into real life. When companies plan to reengineer or redesign the job,
they could use the Job Characteristic Model (JCM), which was developed by Richard Hackman and
Greg Oldham. The basic idea of the model is that task itself can drive the motivation and performance
of employees (Saavedra Kwun, 2000, p. 132). There are five core job characteristics, including skill
variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy and feedback, which influence psychological states
of meaningfulness of job, responsibility for outcomes and knowledge of the actual results (Slack,
Brandon Jones Johnston, 2013, p. 264). Eventually, the above mentioned psychological states will
result in four aspects of personal outcomes, including motivation, quality performance, satisfaction as
well as absenteeism and turnover (Slack et al., 2013, p. 264). However, the theory does not

Many lack uninterrupted power supplies or proper environmental controls. Network manageability is
important because library has a tradition of basing operations on small support staffs with high
productivity. Justification: Library is interested in an upgrade to its network system. Students have
complained about occasional downtime and slow response times when accessing the network,
especially at peak access times. At a minimum, Library wishes to correct these issues through an
upgrade to their system, but management is also looking to be able to improve productivity and
increase security of the confidential data sent over their network. In addition to updating the hardware,
the proposed solution outlines some changes in the network configuration. These changes, if
implemented, will provide greater reliability and security for all users of the Library people. Along
with the new hardware, the new network configuration will open the door for library to explore new
possibilities in using the network to increase overall productivity and, in the end, better serve the
needs of their users. The solution outlined below will provide the greatest benefit possible for student
meeting all of their current needs and providing for future expansion at the lowest cost possible. The
total estimated cost for the project is just under $75,00,000; this takes into account not only resolving

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Tetrathiafulvalene
A polymer is made up of many small molecules, which combine to form a single long or large
molecule. The individual tiny molecules from which the polymer is formed are known as monomers
(meaning, single part) and the process by which the monomer molecules are linked to form a big
polymer molecule is called polymerization. The small molecules, which combine to form a big
molecule, can be of one or more chemical compounds. Polymer crystals are never perfectly ordered,
therefore they rarely experience sharp diffraction peaks like inorganic crystals. Polymers form ordered
structures that are unlike the perfect crystals formed by atomic and molecular solids. Due to the
constraints imposed by covalent intrachain bonding, weak ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However, at this time the synthetic routes only produced black powders and much of this early work
was discarded. In 1958, the first polymerisation of acetylene was carried out by Natta and co workers
[6], this material attracted modest interest because they had poor processability, until the work of
MacDiarmid and co workers [7]. They successfully proved that polyacetylene, can be made
conductive by reaction with iodine or bromine vapors. The spectroscopic studies discovered that this
reaction is redox. Such reactions transform neutral polymer chains into polycarbocations and
neutralize the positive charge generated on the polymer chain. This vital discovery opened systematic

Thermodynamics and Ideal Gas
First Law Exercise:
Problem 1: A volume 10 m3 contains 8 kg of oxygen at a temperature of 300 K. Find the work
necessary to decrease the volume to 5 m3, (a) at a constant pressure and (b) at constant temperature.
(c) What is the temperature at the end of the process in (a)? (d) What is the pressure at the end of
process in (b)? (e) Show both processes in the p V plane. Problem 2: The temperature of an ideal gas
at an initial pressure p1 and volume V1 is increased at constant volume until the pressure is doubled.
The gas is then expanded isothermally until the pressure drops to its original value, where it is
compressed at constant pressure until the volume returns to its initial value. (a) Sketch these processes

Neglecting friction between the piston and the cylinder wall, determine the heat transfer to the air, in
kJ.
First Law Additional Exercises:
Problem 13: A system executes a quasi static process from an initial state 1 to a final state 2, absorbing
80 kJ of heat and expanding from 2.0 m3 to 2.25 m3 against a constant pressure of 1.5 bar. The system
is brought back to its initial state by a non quasi static process, during which it rejects 100 kJ of heat.
What is the work done during the second process? Problem 14: Three kg of air in a rigid container
changes its state from 5.0 bar and 75oC to 12 bar while it is stirred. The heat absorbed is 195 kJ.
Assume air to be an ideal gas with cv = 0.714 kJ/kg K. Determine the final temperature, change in
thermal energy and work done. Problem 15: Two kg of air at 2.5 bar and 30oC forms a closed system.
It undergoes a constant pressure process with heat addition of 450 kJ. Compute final temperature,
change in enthalpy, change in thermal energy, and work done. Assume air to be an ideal gas, with a
mol.wt of 29 kg/kmol and cv = 0.714 kJ/kg K. Problem 16: A perfectly insulated system contains 0.1
m3 of hydrogen at 30oC, 5.0 bar. It is stirred at constant pressure till the temperature reaches 60oC.
Determine heat transferred, change in thermal energy, stirrer work, and net work. Treat hydrogen as an
ideal gas with mol.wt. = 2 kg/kmol, γ = 1.4.

Differences In The Movie Fahrenheit 451
There are many differences between Fahrenheit 451 movie directed by François Truffaut and the book
by Ray Bradbury. In the movie, the sound effects and music add suspense and curiosity such as when
the fire truck is moving there is a suspenseful music that makes the viewer wonder where the fire
truck is heading. Guy Montag stayed mostly the same, with a few minor differences. The general idea
that Firemen set fires to books stayed the same too. Some noticeable differences are the changes that
occurred to Clarisse. The major character differences take place with Clarisse, as well as partially Guy
Montag. To start, Clarisse and Mrs. Montag are portrayed by the same actress, confusing the viewer
unaware of which character the actress was portraying.

Example Of Pathological Arbitration
Warren E. Burger , in a 1984 address to the American Bar Association lamented that:
The entire legal profession has become so mesmerized with the stimulation of the courtroom that we
tend to forget that we ought to be healers of conflict. Our system is too costly, too painful,... As healers
of human conflicts, the obligation of the legal profession is to provide mechanisms that can produce
an acceptable result in the shortest possible time, with the shortest possible expense and the minimum
of stress on the participants. This is what justice is all about.
Arbitration is envisioned to assist as an effective means to resolve disputes without involving the
costly and overburdened judicial system. However, even the finest tool is subjected to abuse in the
hands of an inept, careless or somewhat manipulative user. Therefore, understanding pathological
arbitration ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Ojjeh, the arbitration clause read Disputes arising in connection with this agreement shall be
determined by a single arbitrator to be appointed by the Director General of the World Health
Organization . The Director General of the WHO refused to act as appointing authority. As a result,
the ICC appointed an arbitrator following the refusal. The ICC s appointment of the arbitrator was
upheld by the Swiss Federal Tribunal.
3. Non Mandatory Words
Pathology also arises in an arbitration clause if it is contained in non compulsory words. The reason is
that where parties are under no compulsion to go to arbitration, the party seeking to frustrate
arbitration will rely on the non mandatory language used. For example: The parties may refer any
dispute to arbitration ; ... disputes can be submitted to the adjuster for arbitration .
The Munich Higher Regional Court upheld the following arbitration provisions of the Unified Terms
and it was deemed to be incorporated into the agreement The Unified Terms of the German Grain

  • 2. The Role Of A Rocket Plane During The 1930 S Three Young... In the late 1930 s, three young men, Frank Malina, Jack Parsons, and Ed Forman formed a group on the Caltech campus in Pasadena, California known by students as the Suicide Squad, for their crazy and often life threatening engineering antics; but as tensions heated up in Europe, the men s experiments began to seem less wild to the US government: in 1939, they were awarded $1,000 to conduct research into the development of a rocket plane for use in combat. With the money, the men hired two of their colleagues, Barby and Richard Canright and created a testing site in the Arroyo Seco canyon outside Pasadena. The group, ridiculed by scientists and engineers, and frowned upon by the citizens of Pasadena, had just formed the Jet Propulsion ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... At the time, if women did choose to pursue a career instead of becoming a housewife, there were only three main paths they could take: schoolteacher, nurse, or secretary. It was just one of the limits of being born a woman (11). Women who chose to rebel even further and attempt to pursue careers in science and technology were greeted with little to no diversity; many of the JPL computers recall being the only woman in a group of men in both classrooms and workplaces (13). And even if they made into a corresponding profession, they had far less chance of being promoted than their male counterparts. Many of the JPL women longed to become engineers, a title with more distinction than that of computers, but not only was engineering considered a man s profession , with women widely discouraged from pursuing careers in it, but most engineering schools in the country wouldn t even accept women. This was a prominent and long standing issue at JPL. When she was hired, Helen Ling s knowledge of math and science was such that if she had been a man applying for the job, she wold likely have been hired as an engineer (118). As such, there wasn t a single female engineer at JPL at the time; Barbara Paulson says that in her mind an engineer was a man , adding even more depressingly that she couldn t imagine that a ... • 3. Monomyth In The Lion King Rebecca and Phillip Stein (2017) discuss monomyth, a hero s journey, in their book Anthropology of Religion, Magic, and Witchcraft. In the text, they use the definition of a monomyth given by Joseph Campbell. Campbell defines it as when A hero ventures forth from the world of common day into a region of supernatural wonder: fabulous forces are there encountered and a decisive victory is won: the hero comes back from this mysterious adventure with the power to bestow boons on his fellow man. (Stein Stein, 2017.) According to the text, a hero s journey has three stages: the departure, the initiation, and the return. (Stein and Stein, 2017.) The Disney movie, The Lion King, is a monomyth movie about a young lion who abandons his role as king of the Pride lands and must come back to save his family and his land when danger ensues. Simba is the son of Mufasa, the current king, therefore he is the rightful heir to the throne. This is the common day world that Simba lives in. His uncle, Scar, is filled with hatred towards both Simba and Mufasa, because he believes he deserves to be king. He comes up with an elaborate plan to kill them both. He tricks Simba into thinking that his father has a surprise for him, and he instructs Simba to wait inside of a canyon while he fetches his Mufasa. Scar deliberately starts a stampede of wildebeests to try and kill Simba. Mufasa arrives to the canyon to witness Simba clinging for his life, on a lone shrub s branch, as thousands of ... • 4. Analysis Of Hawthorne s Conception Of Human Nature... Analysis of Hawthorne s Conception of Human Nature through his Stories Nathaniel Hawthorne was a brilliant writer of many stories, especially dealing with the nature of human beings, with themes including religion, perfection, and the natural world. His works have been lauded for their treatment of the human condition. Several stories, such as The Birthmark , Rappaccini s Daughter , Young Goodman Brown , and The Black Veil , have been chosen to explain Hawthorne s understanding of human nature. The Birthmark especially explains the pursuit of human perfection and the notion that nature cannot be overcome by humankind. Rappaccini s Daughter details the human temptation to sin. Young Goodman Brown expresses the belief that once one sins, they will always be a sinner, cannot atone for their sins, and must pay for it. Finally, The Black Veil considers the idea of inherent sin, where the Black Veil represents all of sin in the town. Through his stories, Hawthorne conceptualizes his perspective on human nature by considering that because human beings pursue perfection, and are not content with their inherent imperfection, they experience the loss of their humanity. Hawthorne s stories develop a narrative that explores the nature of inherent imperfection and sin. In Young Goodman Brown, the Devil figure says to his children that, Evil is the nature of Mankind. Evil must be your only happiness (9). The Devil figure speaking to his followers clearly states that sin is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It was there that I learned how difficult school could really be. My past schooling experience had not prepared me for this extremely rigorous program. As one of my requirements for the program was a social science, I had registered for a history course my first semester. Unknowingly, I had registered for a third year history class, clearly not the correct class for a freshman engineering student. I went on to struggle with the amount of work that was assigned for the course including an 18 page research paper. This course, on top of the difficult engineering curricula was extremely challenging. At this point, I also realized that although ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I can enjoy the more rural Cook/Douglass campuses and truly experience nature at places like the Bamboo garden and the log cabin hiking trails. Yet, just a bus ride away is the hustle and bustle of George Street and the College Avenue campus. I believe that by attending Rutgers, I can learn in a professional, experienced environment with access to knowledgeable faculty and leading edge technology and research. More importantly, I believe that the Rutgers Curriculum can allow me to develop the skillset I need to actually make a difference. Classes on solar energy and environmental tax policy serve as the environmentalist s weapons in the fight for our planet. I want to use Rutgers as a resource to help not only myself, but the entire planet. When I think about the term world changing , I think free clean energy for a nation, zero dependence on fossil fuels, and stopping the extinction of several keystone species. The world is in a delicate balance now more than ever. With the geopolitical scale shifting the way it is, environmentalists will face the greatest challenge yet to protect and preserve. • 6. Why Is Medea Wrong In the play Medea , written by Euripides, we are presented with the story of the ex princess of Colchis who was once happily married to the king of Iolcus, Jason. While they are still married, they are far from happy. King Jason has made the decision to abandon his wife and two children to marry the king of Corinth s daughter, Glauce. Medea is very angered and pained by Jason s actions and decides they only way to bear this grief is to hurt Jason as deeply as he hurt her. I find Medea s decision to cause Jason pain to be acceptable but how she does it to be unacceptable. Creon, the king of Corinth, anticipates Medea s wrath and plans to send her into exile with the children. In an attempt to remain out of exile, Medea meets with Aegeus, King of Athens. He explains that despite his marriage to his wife he is without children. Medea explains her current situation to him and begs him to allow her to remain in the country in exchange for her providing him with drugs to end his infertility. • 7. March Of The Bonus March Essay The march of the Bonus Army was a group of World War I veterans and their families who travelled to Washington, D.C. in the summer of 1932. They came from all over the nation to seek economic relief from the federal government. The veterans wanted to receive money that was promised for their services in the first world war and to redeem their service certificates ahead of schedule. The Great Depression was at its height and it was a difficult time to live. Many of the veterans were poor due to a shortage of jobs. Unemployment was at 25% and everyone that went to Washington, D.C. camped out in a self made Hooverville . The government tried to get them to leave, but it was not facile. They were not leaving without a fight. President Hoover was not going to approve the demands of the Bonus Marchers, but then neither was Congress. After being encouraged by Petruchio, whom had recently placed a bet with Lucentio and Hortensio on whose wife would be the most obedient, to lecture the two women on their wifely responsibilities, she remarked on the harsh burdens of a man compared to the composed lifestyle of a woman. While every other mention of the Mirana is found in Humbert s mind or narration, subject to his fantasies and potentially faulty memory, the idea of a photograph suggests a real world representation of the original, unaltered Mirana Hotel. However, the colored photo is less authentic than it seems at first. The word colored indicates an editing of the original photo (it didn t originate as a color photo ), and the photo depicts retouched palm trees ; already, the credibility of this photograph is in doubt. In addition, Humbert only gives a few details about the hotel in the picture: it has striped awnings and a flag flying above the aforementioned palm trees. The combination of the editing of the photo and this generic description casts doubt on its authenticity is it even the Mirana? Humbert s hot wave of pride is no clear indication of the photo s validity; his mental perception of and fascination with the Mirana is so strong that he could be projecting his unreal fantasy onto a photograph of another European hotel. This necessity is one of causal relation, as long as the premise is accepted. As regards the cosmological argument itself, McCloskey states that all we entitled to infer is the existence of a cause commensurate with the effect to be explained, the universe, and this does not entitle us to postulate an all powerful, all perfect, uncaused cause. • 19. Diamonds, The Embodiment Of Esteem And Romance Diamonds, the embodiment of esteem and romance. Millions of years ago, high temperatures and pressure in earth s mantle gave birth to a dazzling gem, a gem that would be loved and adored by many people. It would be put on ornaments and crowns, become the center piece of many jewelry, become the highest symbol of esteem, and even be compared to the stars. People would spend entire paychecks, even a month s, or a year s worth of salary, on trying to acquire it. And in today s world, it s even become the norm in expressing love. For men it s become a ritual, to invest in the biggest diamond they can afford, and put on the person they love. Looking at these norms, you have to ask, why is it that we love diamonds so much? Why is it that people spend thousands if not millions in trying to procure this shiny rock? Is it because it s just human nature to love shiny things we can make ornaments out of? Or is there another reason for our astounding love for it, a more malicious and covert reason, one that involves a masterful marketing campaign, and human consumerism conditioning, to create a market where there isn t one. The latter, unfortunately is more akin to reality than you would think. And for it to all make sense one would have to look at the history of the consumer demand of diamonds, and their usage throughout their long history. Diamonds weren t always used as adornments or jewelry pieces and many believe, in fact since ancient times to even the middle ages, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

When companies plan to reengineer or redesign the job, they could use the Job Characteristic Model (JCM), which was developed by Richard Hackman and Greg Oldham. The basic idea of the model is that task itself can drive the motivation and performance of employees (Saavedra Kwun, 2000, p. 132). There are five core job characteristics, including skill variety, task identity, task significance, autonomy and feedback, which influence psychological states of meaningfulness of job, responsibility for outcomes and knowledge of the actual results (Slack, Brandon Jones Johnston, 2013, p. 264). Eventually, the above mentioned psychological states will result in four aspects of personal outcomes, including motivation, quality performance, satisfaction as well as absenteeism and turnover (Slack et al., 2013, p. 264). However, the theory does not ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Many lack uninterrupted power supplies or proper environmental controls. Network manageability is important because library has a tradition of basing operations on small support staffs with high productivity. Justification: Library is interested in an upgrade to its network system. Students have complained about occasional downtime and slow response times when accessing the network, especially at peak access times. At a minimum, Library wishes to correct these issues through an upgrade to their system, but management is also looking to be able to improve productivity and increase security of the confidential data sent over their network. In addition to updating the hardware, the proposed solution outlines some changes in the network configuration. These changes, if implemented, will provide greater reliability and security for all users of the Library people. Along with the new hardware, the new network configuration will open the door for library to explore new possibilities in using the network to increase overall productivity and, in the end, better serve the needs of their users. The solution outlined below will provide the greatest benefit possible for student meeting all of their current needs and providing for future expansion at the lowest cost possible. The total estimated cost for the project is just under $75,00,000; this takes into account not only resolving ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 43. Advantages And Disadvantages Of Tetrathiafulvalene A polymer is made up of many small molecules, which combine to form a single long or large molecule. The individual tiny molecules from which the polymer is formed are known as monomers (meaning, single part) and the process by which the monomer molecules are linked to form a big polymer molecule is called polymerization. The small molecules, which combine to form a big molecule, can be of one or more chemical compounds. Polymer crystals are never perfectly ordered, therefore they rarely experience sharp diffraction peaks like inorganic crystals. Polymers form ordered structures that are unlike the perfect crystals formed by atomic and molecular solids. Due to the constraints imposed by covalent intrachain bonding, weak ... In 1958, the first polymerisation of acetylene was carried out by Natta and co workers [6], this material attracted modest interest because they had poor processability, until the work of MacDiarmid and co workers [7]. They successfully proved that polyacetylene, can be made conductive by reaction with iodine or bromine vapors. The spectroscopic studies discovered that this reaction is redox. Such reactions transform neutral polymer chains into polycarbocations and neutralize the positive charge generated on the polymer chain. • 47. Example Of Pathological Arbitration Warren E. Burger , in a 1984 address to the American Bar Association lamented that: The entire legal profession has become so mesmerized with the stimulation of the courtroom that we tend to forget that we ought to be healers of conflict. Our system is too costly, too painful,... As healers of human conflicts, the obligation of the legal profession is to provide mechanisms that can produce an acceptable result in the shortest possible time, with the shortest possible expense and the minimum of stress on the participants. This is what justice is all about. Arbitration is envisioned to assist as an effective means to resolve disputes without involving the costly and overburdened judicial system.
