The building stayed the same height through the sections and we felt that that would be the most

and left around 2pm because it was a really fun experience. I had seen many cool and different

Life And Dedication Of An Organization
As I peered through the window of opportunity, which I thought would be an easy adventure, time and
dedication surely proved me mistaken. One average senior high day, I walk into the Human Services
classroom and sit down at my desk. The class writes the daily five minute prompt about the service we
are hoping to be involved in for FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America) called,
STAR (Student Taking Action with Recognition) events. After the prompt, the class sets up the desks
to have our monthly FCCLA meeting. I, being the President, began the meeting with any house
keepings that needs to be discussed. Next, we progress the discussion to our chapter s current funds
and finally begin to go into detail about STAR events. In an organized manner, we list the events and
information pertaining to which people are planning on working in each group.
I decide to work with Angela, who happens to be our chapter s Vice President, and Molly, the
secretary, to focus our attention to the Focus on Children category. With much thought, we decide on
the idea of researching the sugar content in beverages and directing the information toward late
elementary audiences. We create a few presentations and visuals to provide the students an accurate
idea of the sugar content within their drinks. While constructing this project, we also call at least five

Analysis Of Lysistrata
In Aristophanes play Lysistrata, the plot is during the middle of the Peloponnesian war. The title
character Lysistrata, is a Athenian woman who has convened a meeting with the women whose
husbands are off fighting in the war. Lysistrata arranges the meeting in order to propose a solution to
ending the war which includes the women withholding sex from their husbands. Initially, the women
don t like the idea of her plan but soon come to agree with her after realizing that it may be the only
way to get the men to stop fighting. All of the women then take an oath and swear off sex until a peace
treaty is signed. Lysistrata also plans to attack and seize the nearby acropolis, which contains the
Athenian treasury, in order to cut off funding to the war. When the chorus of women go to the
acropolis, they are met by a chorus of men who have intentions of smoking the women out of it but
the women meet them with buckets of water. After multiple altercations with different people in the
men s chorus, one of the women s husbands shows up wanting to have sex with his wife and she plays
along with him, giving him the impression that they re going to have sex but then soon runs back to
the acropolis with the other women. Upon their return, men from both the nearby cities as well as
Sparta realize that they have something in common: their wives are all withholding sex from them and
the conspiracy is international. Upon the realization of this, the men decide to declare peace with one
another and the story concludes with large celebrations. A large portion of Aristophanes play relies

undermine the athenian government through the use of sexual comedy. Aristophanes portrays women

Frederick Loewe Concert Report Sample
An exciting new performing group, the PHAZE Ensemble, will be making their concert debut on July
5th at 7pm at the Frederick Loewe Performance Hall, which is housed in the Watchorn Hall building,

Cognitive behaviorism has been highly embraced by popular culture and managed care, partly because
it offers quick fixes into behavioral problems and emotional distresses. Often times, students are
confused by the terminologies cognitive and cognitive behaviorism. To add to the confusion, there is
also cognitive therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. These terms are sometimes used
interchangeably in literature, but there are slight differences. Cognitive therapy is a specific type of
therapy technique developed by Aaron Beck in the 1960s. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a group of
therapy techniques that share similar theoretical and practical elements in counseling. Some of them
are presented later in this chapter. Both Cognitive therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy are
grouped under the field of cognitive psychology or the pragmatic school of thought, also called
cognitive approach. All of which have their roots in behaviorism. Counselors typically prefer the term
cognitive behaviorism because change in cognition impacts change in emotions and behaviors. It is
this key element that therapists strive to reach with their patients. In other words, simply changing the
cognition without changing the behavior or emotions associated with that cognition is futile.

Elephants can walk up to forty miles in the wild, but hardly get enough exercise to keep them alive in
circuses and zoos. They are forced to sleep and walk on concrete floors and are often on train cars
most of their life. This can cause arthritis, foot abscesses, and other foot and joint dangers.

The reader has a clear image now of the state the soldiers are in and how horrific it must have been for
them. The third line not only involves the writer in the poem but also tells the reader what they are
walking from. Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs , the word haunting is a very important
word in this line. It tells the reader that the soldiers will never forget what they have seen. I also think
Owen has used the word haunting because the word will stick in the readers mind and the poem will
haunt them just like the soldiers were haunted. On a positive note, the reader is told they are walking
away from the worst of the war. We turned our backs so they are faced away from the front line. The
forth line connects to the third line by continuing to talk about the soldiers walking back to rest. It
elaborates on line three; talking about how even though they are walking to safety it is a long way
away distant rest . Owen also uses the word trudge which is laborious walking, so not only are the
soldiers tired and have a long way to go they have a laborious walk to get back to safety. I think this
line is very important because we now know that the soldiers are walking to safety and we feel a sense
of relief for the soldiers. It also make me feel like I should cheer on the soldiers because of how strong

A challenge that I took interest in is the horrifying problem that women and young girls face as
victims of human trafficking and sex slavery. Women and young girls make up 98% of victims of
trafficking for exploitation. Human trafficking and sex slavery is a form of modern slavery, in which
traffickers profit from the control and exploitation of others. It is a multi billion industry. Traffickers
use control of others for the purpose of engaging in sexual activities and or forcing others to provide
labor services against their will. Traffickers use many manipulative tactics to trap their victims in
horrific situations such as using violence, threats, deception, and bondage.
More women and girls are transported into brothels yearly, in the 21st century, than African slaves
were shipped into slave plantations each year in the 18th century. In the United States, sex trafficking
commonly occurs in online escort services, residential brothel, brothels that may be disguised as
businesses, and in street prostitution.
High profits and low risks are the two primary factors that drive the spread of human trafficking. It is
a market driven criminal industry that is based on the principal of supply and demand. Traffickers
generate billion of dollars in profits each year. Traffickers can be lone individuals or extensive

Investigating The Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue...
Whether it be elite athletes or weekend warriors, all athletes have experienced muscle tightness that
impacted their athletic performance. I wanted to investigate whether instrument assisted soft tissue
mobilization (IASTM) was more effective at reducing hamstring muscle tightness than foam rolling in
high school athletes. Most high school athletes work very hard at practice and in the weight room and
therefore, hamstring muscle tightness is very common. I chose the high school population because I
want to work in the high school setting following graduation. I wanted to investigate if IASTM
techniques could be more effective in the high school to reduce lower extremity muscle soreness than
foam rolling. The case series by Baker, Nasypany, Seegmiller Baker (2013) investigated the
effectiveness of IASTM for treatment of hamstring tissue extensibility dysfunction. Tissue
extensibility dysfunction (TED) includes ROM limitations during standing flexion test, sit and reach
test, passive and active straight leg hip flexion and 90/90 active knee extension test (Baker et.all). The
participants in this study consisted of three collegiate athletes who can had long lasting tightness in the
lower extremities, and exhibited hamstring TED. All patients had baseline active range motion
measurements taken. The participants recorded their pain during activity using the numerical rating
scale (NRS) during the initial examination. The participants received three IASTM treatments a week
