This document proposes a peak demand management system using multi-source power (solar, battery, grid) to reduce load on the electric grid during peak hours. The system uses a controller that receives peak demand predictions from a load study center via GSM and automates switching between power sources based on pre-programmed logic. Simulation results show the system can effectively schedule power from different sources to flatten household demand and reduce generating station load during peaks. The approach provides an alternative for load shedding and has potential to help address India's growing electricity demand and peak issues.
