Knowing the gender of my
audience allowed me to
note what gender would
most likely listen to the
song and watch the video.
With this knowledge I was
able to think about what I
could add to my Digipak
and magazine advert in
order to make my audience
want to go buy the album.
From knowing the age of
my viewers I noticed that
the age was the age I
aimed at when creating
my video. Looking at this
made me realise that I
had accomplished one
of the goals I get out
when I thought about
creating the video.
Looking at how often
people watched video
showed how the music
video industry is
extremely interactive
and highlights the
importance of music
videos. This allowed me
to start thinking about
where my music video
would be available for
my audience to watch.
100% of people watched
music videos on YouTube. By
having this kind of information
it allowed me to think about
what distributions I would use
that would allow my target
audience to watch the video.
With 100% of people
saying the video looked
professional means I
have met the realistic and
typical conventions of
music videos.
This allowed me to
note what other
aspects I could
improve.
With 1 person saying
no I took it upon
myself to go through
the video to look at
what changes
needed to be made in
order to make the
narrative clearer.
Question 8 shows that
my video was
significantly interesting
for my target audience.
This illustrates the variety
of music my target
audience listens to,
demonstrating that
although I chose an RnB
song for my video, my
video can also appeal to
other music genre fans.
Having constructive
criticism was the
main step in
helping me improve
my finalised video.

Audience feedback

  • 2. Knowing the gender of my audience allowed me to note what gender would most likely listen to the song and watch the video. With this knowledge I was able to think about what I could add to my Digipak and magazine advert in order to make my audience want to go buy the album.
  • 3. From knowing the age of my viewers I noticed that the age was the age I aimed at when creating my video. Looking at this made me realise that I had accomplished one of the goals I get out when I thought about creating the video.
  • 4. Looking at how often people watched video showed how the music video industry is extremely interactive and highlights the importance of music videos. This allowed me to start thinking about where my music video would be available for my audience to watch.
  • 5. 100% of people watched music videos on YouTube. By having this kind of information it allowed me to think about what distributions I would use that would allow my target audience to watch the video.
  • 6. With 100% of people saying the video looked professional means I have met the realistic and typical conventions of music videos.
  • 7. This allowed me to note what other aspects I could improve.
  • 8. With 1 person saying no I took it upon myself to go through the video to look at what changes needed to be made in order to make the narrative clearer.
  • 9. Question 8 shows that my video was significantly interesting for my target audience.
  • 10. This illustrates the variety of music my target audience listens to, demonstrating that although I chose an RnB song for my video, my video can also appeal to other music genre fans.
  • 11. Having constructive criticism was the main step in helping me improve my finalised video.
