My audience is likely to be the C2DE classification as this game is going to be a free to play mobile
game. Most likely to me male teenagers, this is because it is a fighting game, which has been
shown to stereotypically be aimed towards the male gender and it is more likely that teenagers
would have the time and drive to play a mobile game. Possibly they will be socially conscious type
B as the game will be more towards battling the creatures for the player to have beaten them, not
any social justice or anything that helps others. Quite a wanna be as well as it will be giving them
achievements and the appeal of success. I will want it to be seen as enjoyment through the uses
and gratification model as I would like it to be easily escapism and enjoyment instead of being
filled with facts.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
At the beginning of the year I was not very experienced with animation and so I had very little
abilities. Since then, with doing the advergame for a previous project I have learned a few more
skills that I feel I could use here. One of those skills is the menu making. I feel like although it was
not the best that I could have made, it was a start that gave me a little more experience so I can
improve upon that base template in order to make it better for this one. I also now have the ability
to do very simple movements with a character. This is because I did arm movements with my
character in the previous project. This means I will still need to work on more movements to make
them look realistic and also need to do some work on perspectives.

My concept is a mobile game that is a turn based RPG. This will be presented with a fantasy map
that is where you select the level that you wish to play. There will be a character selection when
you first open the game so that you may have your choice of player. There will also be
achievements that you can get throughout the game for different reasons. This will appeal to those
who play games with a strong intention to get the achievements and will not finish until they get
them all. This will also ensure that the game has more play time as it will be until people have
managed to achieve all the bonuses, as well as getting the highest possible score they can. I hope
to also up this with the connectivity to Facebook so that you can view the online leader board and
combat against friends. I am hoping to have some

I plan to evaluate my work by having an on-going evaluation after each piece of production that I
do so that it I can see what I’ve done and not forget how things are by the next day. I will also be
doing a big evaluation piece at the end of the project so that I can see in hindsight what I should
have done different and what went really well.
