The document summarizes the personal project evaluation of a student. It describes the research process where they analyzed similar games and gameplay. For planning, their strengths were experimenting with pixel art and having a vision, but they took too much time planning. Regarding time management, they finished most of the project within class time but could have added more with more time. The document also covers technical qualities, audience appeal, and peer feedback received which suggested improvements that could have been made.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
3. Research
• For the research I looked at similar products to the one I was going to be
making, to gather ideas.
• For it, I started by making a mood-board of images showing gameplay
from the game I was going to be making, then I analysed different posters,
looking at the colours, the layout, characters, etc.
• My strengths for this research was, I was able to look at different games
with ideas which I could have incorporated into my own work.
• For weakness, I could have improved by analysing more of the gameplay,
for a clear view of what I want this product to look like, the effect this
would have had on my product is using way more ideas.
4. Planning
• My strengths for the planning was being able to experiment with pixel art,
as well as having a vision of what I want to do for my product, which
helped because I was able to plan what I would want my final to look like.
• My weaknesses were, I feel I took a bit too much time on like
experimenting and planning, meaning I had to take not as much time
making my final product, I could have taken a lot less time on the
planning, as it would allow me to put more focus towards the final
product.
5. Time Management
• I tried managing my time well, since I mostly did my project in class.
• I feel like, even if I had to take away some ideas for my product due to
time constraints, I managed to finish most of it, if I had a bit more time I
could have added in music, sound effects and try to make the animation a
bit better.
• If I had more time, I would have focused it way more on the final product,
as to make sure I can complete it within that amount of time.
