2. research
I think that for this project I have used my time
effectively to research everything i might need, I am
happy with the methods I used for researching and how
I wrote it all down. I began researching both magazines
and fanzines and finding what made each interesting
and enticed me to read or even look at them. my
research for this project was the best its ever been and
has helped me a lot during production and planning. It
also helped me with how to set out each page and how
to keep viewers interested throughout 8 pages. I think
that overall, my research was the most useful during
this project compared to any others.
3. planning
After I finished my research, I began planning how I
wanted to set out my fanzine and how I could use
colours/ songs/ photos to make it look professional. I
think that my research was useful because it helped me
get ahead in planning really quickly. I began creating
mood boards and mind maps to get a general idea of
what types of styles, layouts and colours I planned to
use. Once I found all of the things, I wanted in my
fanzine I could then begin to create a final, set in stone
plan. A strength of my planning was having a really
good idea of what I wanted to do from the very
beginning.
4. time management
I think that I probably could have managed my time a
little better within the writing sections because I spent
most of my time doing production. because of this I had
to rush my evaluation. during production, I think my
time management has been good, but It would have
been easier if I could have worked more at home since,
again, I missed quite a bit of college time.
5. technical qualities
one technical quality for my fanzine was the difference
between each slide but still having it all fit into the
same theme. It worked well at keeping you interested
because each page has teasers for what was going to
come up within the next pages. another technical
quality was how I've used a feature (gaussian blur) that
allowed certain thing to be blurred perfectly, I could
also select how strong/ weak the blue was which made
my fanzine look really nice.
6. aesthetic qualities
i think that one aesthetic quality was the style and
theme of my website, I'm really, really happy with the
way I designed it, this is, in my opinion, the best
production I have ever done. i incorporated a lot of
photos and borders, stickers and highlights to make it
attention catching and bright. one weakness was that
despite me enjoying how it looks, I feel like I could have
possibly took it one step further to really make it the
best.

peer feedback?
– im not sure
11. peer feedback summary
i think that I could improve little details on my fanzine
such as adding more bright colours maybe. I also could
have managed my time better, so I had more time to
complete my evaluation. If I were to redo this, I would
make sure to carefully manage my time.
