3. Research
• Strengths: The research lead to me following popular opinion in my survey
for my final product which was a success as my audience provided a
positive responses. My Research is also set out neatly making points
clearly if I needed to go back to check on notes so it was easy to refer to if
I needed reminding on any conventions or images I may wish to include.
Because it was such a long PowerPoint there is a lot of material I can use
in my final product, by the end of the survey results I had everything I
needed to develop my project further so my research made my Final
project what it is today.
• Weaknesses: The research Element was long and took a lot of time and
effort which made it difficult to fill with satisfaction. I feel I may have been
able to improve my research by adding more questions on my
questionnaire.
4. Planning
• Strengths: My Planning turned out brilliant as I was able to return to my research
whenever came across any difficulty and my action plan made it easier to separate the
production into smaller more achievable steps which helped a lot. In my planning, I
made attempts at my layout, which helped my get an idea of what it may look like in my
final product and to give a better idea of what would look better, this saved time later
on as I new immediately where to place individual images and allowed me to think of
how to animate them. I planned to use font s based or taken directly from existing
advertisements from the suicide squad film franchise so the audience would better
recognise my product, which also help with my colour scheme as it had a similar effect.
Considering health and safety, and potential issues I had put plans in place to prevent
any problems later in my project such as preventing things ranging from “eye strain” to
loss of work, these precautions allowed me to finish my project within the over all
deadline with the least amount of difficulty possible. In terms of my schedule, it helped
me break my project into smaller steps and made the entire process more manageable.
• Weaknesses: there were notches in my plan when I had time off so keeping to a dated
schedule was difficult, if I was able to have more class time, I would have been able to
stay on top of my work and potentially created assets to reside alongside my existing
products.
5. Time Management
Strengths
• Although there were notches in my timeline due to time off I feel that with help from
my tutors I managed what time I had the best I could efficiently, such as my production
where I had experience in Photoshop in aesthetic design and animation so I this it
helped me push through my production speedily and yet with good quality of work. I
also prioritised time for work outside of class as to meet deadlines and to hand in work
for as much feedback as possible,
Weaknesses
• Certain aspect of my project took longer than I had expected such as my my
“Production Reflection” this had extended the project slightly, if I had more time I
would have been able to improve some of the longer areas of my project. Within my
production work I used “Adobe After Effect” due to a lack of previous experience with
the software there were a few set backs where tools were concerned as I had to change
parts of the animation entirely due to complications with tools on After Effects, this was
slightly time consuming and left less time for elsewhere in my project, I I had more time
I could have used it to learn more about after effect and its many complicated tools.
Overall I believe I handled my time as well as and as efficiently as possible, despite
circumstance
6. Technical Qualities
It is similar as it groups together the
members of the suicide squad but
differs as the suicide squad members
merge with the character skulls of the
soundtrack contributes and creates a
new unique grouping.
These similarities rest in
the artists and
advertisement for the
album but split when
considering the artists
involved in my product as I
try to involve other artists
from other suicide squad
songs as I try to advertise
the whole album.
My product is similar
as it advertises suicide
squad but they differ in
that my product is
animated to move and
highlight groups in the
image.
7. Aesthetic Qualities
A Weakness may be
that some of the
animations need
improvement as they
are patchy sloppy, for
example the “Panic! At
The Disco” skull. As it
has spun after it had
reached its final
location which is not
what I had in mind.
A strength of my product is
that it fit in perfectly with
the conventions of a suicide
squad poster aesthetically,
this would reach out to my
audience as they would
recognize my product.
Most of the animations
were smooth and the
video flowed naturally.
I had put a slightly
creative twist by mixing
the characters up in a
ordered yet chaotic way.
I believe my product looked good and
was fairly creative. These qualities
would attract my primary target
audience.
The Character
animations for “Logic”
and ”Skrillex” were
supposed to match the
beat of the music but
did not, I would like to
improve this quality
These conventions include;
colour schemes, fonts,
character design and music.
8. Audience Appeal
• I believe that my content appeals to my target audience as have
both masculine and feminine qualities to appeal to both male and
female personalities.
• I included artists from different genres of music based in the
suicide squad album such as a more lighthearted song like Panic!
At The Disco all the way to something heavier like Purple
Lamborghini, this range is good as it appeals to more secondary
audiences.
• Based on my Questionnaire I believed that this wide range of
audience is a good idea as I have a varying and diverse audience.

13. Peer Feedback Summary

the characters should match the beat of the
