2. Process
For this project I decided to us audition instead of premier pro which is
what I created the experiment on. I think using this was much easier
because I could see the sound waves and select certain points to edit
whereas on premier pro it was more of a guessing game.
When I opened up audition I
needed to select on the multi-
track option and this allows you
too put as many sound tracks as
you want.
This is where I dragged all of
my files in from. There was a
file in the same file folder
called conformed file so the
program worked otherwise the
sounds would not play the
next time you opened it up
and I ran in to that problem
once
This is the sound wheel
which I could turn to
control the volume of
each track
These are where the tools are and
I used the move tool to move
around a sound. Then the razor
tool which could cut sounds.
3. Process
At first I imported all of my
sound effects which I included in
the recording. I got all of these
sound effects from YouTube by
converting them to mp3’s and
they each take up there own
track as you can see here and
each track can be edited
differently.
My sound effects were very important because they
added extra support otherwise I think it would just
be boring, these sound effects are guitar solos which
are played quietly whilst I speak and are used for an
introduction and end.
4. Process
I used the recording app on my phone and then I emailed all
of these recording files to my college email where I
downloaded them and then put them in the imported sound
file which is shown here.
I wrote down everything I was going to say
in a script on a word document however
this was a bit rough and as I was reading I
added some words and used different
ones as I went along.
I recorded at
home and all you
have to do is press
the button and
then talk.
5. Process
This is the final end product which I turned up with. Once all the sounds were in I
then exported it as an mp3 audio file.
This is where you select what file
type you want it too be.
This is where you choose an
area in your folder to save it
